- I love this song. It's such a raw & honest depiction of someone who's searching & wants to believe, if only to see goodness in the lives of those they love. Honestly, I connect so much with my that message. Events of last year caused me to step back & re-evaluate my own personal faith. I'm still in that reevaluation process... but what I know is that I do believe in God & I do believe that he cares. So this song is from one outcast to another, from me to you. I know it's hard, but don't stop believing that somehow everything is going to be okay. God loves the outcasts too.❤
The emotion your poured into the song... It's one thing to be a great singer, it's another thing to believe in the song and put that into your voice

The moment when you clasped your hands over your heart, and then sang "I ASK FOR NOTHING..." absolutely touched my soul.

So many people forget Jesus was an outcast, and they judge people just like him do easily. People forget the biggest message in the bible is to love your neighbor and not to judge for only God can do that. The best way to praise and worship God is too be kind and love and respect people the way they are.
Not the main message of the Bible... It is FIRST to love God with your WHOLE heart and mind and soul... To Repent... To draw near to God and to seek HIM. the outflow of a life humbly submitted to The sovereign Almighty is a life of service and compassion and mercy speaking TRUTH calling others to repent in humility and truth.

For some reason I always skipped that song when I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I thought the music very still and disconnected from the rest of the movie. I was young at that time. Over the years and with the maturity I realized the genius behind this song, and the importance that it has for the narrative - mainly Esmeralda. Nowadays it's my favorite song from the movie, along with Hellfire - plus one of my favorite Disney songs. I always get goosebumps when I hear it, regardless of the version. You are an incredible professional and your voice is too beautiful. Congratulations. Kisses from Brazil.

what I love about this cover is the imagery of Esmeralda praying inside the cathedral when suddenly she hears people singing and she looks around her, and then she turns to see the whole town behind her begging to be heard. it's so so beautiful & powerful. amazing job!
