TBH it has been like that since dota 1 when ET was a carry not a support.
Since the dota2 transition where meepo was less picked ET degraded to be a support. ET 2nd skill is OP when more heroes it passes, and coz meepo clone is considered a hero it will padd to hero damage.
An easy counter to ET building this is have meepo play STR builds as well as meka
Still, we need to make a discount on how Sky helped him. On the high ranks the players of the fourth position roam well on the map, which is rarely met on the low ranks, where such a match-up would not be so obvious in favor of Titan.
This is the confidence we wanna see in high skill ranked. I don't know since when this game has been dominated by group of rigged people.

@@highhorse5022 ET is better at offlane cuz of his 2nd and 3rd combination and soft support cuz his 1st, and the good thing is I didn't saw that this hero got nerf but actually he got buff back in the old good days of Dota1 his agha upgrade was increase the damage of his ult from 40% of max hp as damage to 50% of max hp as damage and now icefrog make some changes on his agha upgrade that give him spell immunity buff from his 2nd that was actually good too.

Well, low ranks wannabe pro are so amaze with this "new" discovery and saying that this hero is going to be a cancer in pubs.
The reason is simply that people don't think beyond Earthshaker. In general, many still think Earthshaker is the only counter to clumped up heroes/illusions.
A 6k Meepo spammer posted a year or so ago on reddit a tier list of heroes he hates going against as Meepo and Elder Titan was the only hero in Tier S. Meanwhile, Earthshaker was lower than Legion Commander. I think he was speaking of Elder Titan as roaming 4 though invading Meepo's jungle.
