The thing with the "Finger on the throat" I think relates to the sound you make when you "run a stick over humbs" (it is also a wooden instrument i played on as a kid in school) but also relates to the sound that crows make.

I kinda caught something. So basically, you know those dancers in black during the pre chorus? If you look really REALLY closely, you can actually see that the masks they're wearing are in the shape of wolf heads! I think you'll be able to see the masks clearly during the part in the last chorus where the dancers in black dance around and the lightning flashes around! And since they're wolf masks, I wonder what skz is trying to portray here...
I have never in my life watched a 54 minute long reaction video with a well-thought of and organized lyrics explanation. THIS WAS FCKING WORTH IT! The way you guys broke it down per verse was amazing. Props to Andy for cracking these lyrics and giving us a wow moment. 소리꾼 itself was mind-blowing but after watching you guys, I literally got chills. I knew the song was about them being savage but I didn't know THIS FCKING SAVAGE?! And you guys are really cute. From an English speakers’ perspective, who hadn’t heard much Korean before- my ears heard SONIC BOOM. Which made contextual sense at the time. But, I am much happier knowing the Korean now for our Masters of Noise. I am still learning, and Stray Kids are my motivation.

I just love how u guys try to explain everything, 'cause if u are not korean It's kinda difficult keeping up with every single detail. Like, for me being brazilian, the culture is so different and idk, like the sayings and sutuff like that are really hard to cath if u are not part of that. So it's really nice seeing people who knows about korean trying to give us a better view.
Stray Kids are really conquering a lot (the world domination it's real indeed) they've grown and mature so much (and I´m not talking 'bout how they look) but the improvement we get to see with their team work, dancing, vocals and production (even knowing they were already great).
Anyone sound like them out there. they've crated a new genre.
I just get to know them, and it was so easy for me to fell in love with them, the amount of talent and potential they have it's nuts. this whole album it's ridiculous, amazing, impecable.
I really hope more people get to know and stan them 'cause they really deserve everything they achieve, but they sure deserve more. Thanks for thr video, love u guys. Correct me if I’m wrong but I was watching videos of pansori singers after your thunderous mv teaser video. In one of the videos an Elderly pansori singer explained that as a pansori master singer, one of the goals was to connect with the sounds around you and imitate the natural sounds and make it with your voice. So I was thinking stray kids probably utilize and interpret pansori singing for their adlibs bc all of the sounds they make are thunderous. Like it imitates the sound of thunder and they’re masters of that sound.
So like sorikun which I’ve been told means the vocalist (singer) and the meaning like telling a story to an audience (stay),
People gather around to listen to their thunderous sound.

For 42:50 I think they travelled back in time. They're in an older setting but wearing modern clothing. I remember before you guys said something about they can come and go as they please, I think they come back to the past then go back to their real world, then come back to the past but to the same event, like the butterfly effect. That's why Felix's hair changes so much: they went to the past, changed stuff (e.g. take off something from the board), then came back to the future to see how things were, then came back. This theory doesn't really go well with the music video but it's just a thought.
Thunderous is a masterpiece! So much meaning is put in the dance, lyrics, outfits, locations .... that it required an hour long video to explain it to us!

I love how throughout the music video you see Stray Kids really act like dokkaebi’s and defend/ward off evil. Like the “horns” hand gesture 🤘🏻that they use in the choreography, or @ 4:26 lol when Jas pauses it on Bang Chan, Chan hits the air? And the evil runs away. You know the guys in the black suits? It’s just like the evil that Stray Kids take over in their God’s Effect’s stage in Kingdom. Then at the end when their having their grand festival, the bukcheong lion dance is known to ward off evil too & bring peace. So when you guys mentioned the yin and yang it makes sense! It brings balance between the negative and positive energy. I LOVED how you reacted and had a Andy Deconstruction video all in one! Not sure if you saw or not but @28:43 in YOUR video, you see Hyunjin on the screen and he's closing a brown leather book. That's a comic book he's looking at and there's a picture of Felix there, the part where Felix said, "Keep on talking, we don't play by the rules" and he did the little hand movement. That is the picture inside the brown book Hyunjin just closed. It goes by really fast so most people don't see it but you should check it out, it's awesome!

As a mixed-race Korean, I am glad that you guys managed to break it down to international audiences what some of the Korean cultural references SKZ referred to in the song meant. Even as someone that grew up in a Korean cultural background myself, I sometimes had a hard time breaking down cultural references in some songs to my friends when they ask me what it means because I have always knew what it meant in Korean but I never always knew how to conceptualize its context in English to my friends. This is some god tier content coming out of you guys! 54 minutes well spent! I always enjoy your energy!

I was also thinking as I was watching your breakdown that the line about "we'll burn forever" could easily be referring back to the previous line about their boiling and circulating blood. Like the haters are all cold in their reception of SKZ but SKZ uses that as their motivation and passion. The haters want to bring SKZ down with their hate but it has the opposite effect of fueling their drive. The "we'll burn forever" could also easily connect back to the blue flames in the mv with the goblin theme and SKZ being noise masters. Them burning forever is the best possible thing that could happen to their music.
