If you tape the edges of the headlight and grille with masking tape, it will keep the wrap from sticking to it as you are releasing edge tension and helps keep from stretching while wrapping the edge. Added bonus of more scratch protection when cutting.

I bought a Stinger GT Orange, not crazy about the colour but thats what they had, planning to wrap it myself this is really useful guide just gotta learn about the basic tools needed gonna start this week.

I like the rims, just need to be in black. No way I'd go with a lower profile tire then it already has, which is 35, pretty damn low.

Wrap a couple cars in 3m or Avery and then see how u can say it’s easier for installers? Also I’m a one man show too. Dissemble, wrap, assemble every car we touch.
It is easier I used those brands before

I've been driving mine for about 3 yrs w/o the front plate. I hate the look of it so I'll take my chances. 😂
At first I was like really green? Ew... But after it was done... Damn looks great. It's unique and flashy enough it'll stand out but not over the top. Can't really think of many colors that'd look better on that car.

Im going to share a secret for re sticking Badges ! I use in inch clear banner tape ! Super think ! Super strong double sided tape ! And Esay to cut around decals ! Just place on a flat surface and trace and cut all done 👍 the tape making contact with the vinyl is a super strong bond ! Have tested it in all weather conditions and my emblems and decals never come off ! Try it some time ! 🙏🙏

Looks good. He put all the GT dark chrome and wheels on it. 4Cyl came with silver not dark chrome. But it looks good.
My 2020 Gt came with the same only it is the white flake paint

I wrap in a shop with two other guys, but we have typically 3 active projects, at least one walk-in each day, and up to 5 more vehicles on site on standby. Hence needing more than one person. Wrapping solo isn't hard (usually) for passenger/personal vehicles.. but more people let's you get multiple cars done at the same time.. and helps when you have 30 foot box trucks, too

Not bad work...I would deft start laying better glass technique to save yourself some time...also if you lay down masking tape on the headlights and trim you'll create a low surface area to tuck better.

If you wrap your car go pay the 20-30$ at the DMV to change the color on your registration so you don’t get a shit ton of tickets or accused of stealing the car because it had a totally different color
Always go with a color that has a similar base. Like my Veloster because it was silver I went with a wrap that’s base color is already silver so I don’t have to change my color at the dmv. Stay safe

@@ParadoxTheWrapper exactly. Even pros aren't able to predict 100% what spots/edges/corners, if any, are going to end up failing or being problematic. People think that once it's on the car, it's on for good and isn't going to change. Not how vinyl works.

What works for me when i take off the residue from the emblems. I use general adhesion remover or straight up thinner. But with thinner got to be careful with any plastics that don't have paint on em
I just hit 3000 on my 2020. I think I saw this one on one of the facebook groups. My only concern with wrapping is how it will come off with the thin paint.

Try put masking tape on certain part like headlight/grill or on the side where you'll probably trimming later.
It will make job lot more easier. Haven't had a chance to use Vvivid but im sure it belong on top like othes good brand too.
If the thicker material tend to pull back or have problem it is most likely the technique or the quality of the adhesive.
I've used china brand name CarV before. The color like 3m Psychedelic copy paste.
It's thick material but the adhesive arent that great. I've use the same brand but different color and so far so good.
Plus thick material should be lil good to cover for some minor stone chip. Well probably not that much. hahahaaa.
