- This is the best mod I have played for this game. There's still a couple bugs and tweaks they could work on, but overall it's amazing. I think I got all, if not most, changes this mod has provided.
This amazing mod was provided by UltimateDarkman. Sadly though, he's not releasing anymore content due to others stealing his work. I'm sorry for that, buddy.

I don’t know why but I love the beginning of the run animation where he just bobs up and down like a doll. And also the boost where he has his hand reached out.
I found out about Sonic.exe's existance yesterday, and now I am obsessed with it. I feel that, f introduced CAREFULLY as canon, it could improve the Sonic franchise, especially, now that it has become a game for babies (instead of the General audience style from the Dreamcast era...)
The creepypasta basically defined all creepypasta cliches. I personally think that the sonic.exe creepypasta (if you can even consider it one) is stupid, not scary, and would be a huge downer on canon. Really, it's just horrible.
Bubba Fights True, the story itself isn't scary, the scare comes if you play the game expecting the original Sonic 1. I argued that the character was cool, but the story, not so much. Besides, Metal Sonic stopped being that evil when SEGA stopped making Sonic for everyone and instead started marketing for children, and, as a mature sonic fan, think this is interesting, but not scary out of context.

The Sonic.EXE story is way too gory and if it was actually introduced it would just be creepy to kids, and "wtf" to adults. It's ridiculously cliché and honestly, not worth it. It would make sales drop and ughhhh. It's an overused "meme". That's right. It's practically a meme now. :I
Fair enough, I love your view. The whole "SONIC IS BECOMING TOO MUCH FOR KIDS" thing. I agree 100%. But Sonic.EXE is not the answer. The old writer that did the story for Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 needs to come back. He'd whip up an epic plot in seconds.
SuperMysticTails I know dude, Sonic EXE as it is now would kill the series. I am talking about the concept. You know demonic/dark/actually-freaking-evil-instead-of-the-sorry-excuse-for-a-villain-that-Egmman-is-now. Picture a villain that shapeshifts ala Mephiles but has some deformities, (Like the Sonics up there minus the gore). Introduce actual EXE, and it would be suicide. Get what I am saying?

Although Sonic.exe was never scary to begin with, I have to say, this mod seems to have a lot of effort put in and seems well made. Aside from the hilarious scream at the results screen. xD
This hack would make great content for a Halloween DLC pack. Or something like that anyway.
