This is so perfect for what I am going through right now. I just went out celebrating my 36th birthday today. I have had many no s in my life. On the way home this evening after seeing couples everywhere. I kept asking him over and over "where is he God?!" I'm getting older and would like to have at least one child. This was an excellent video! I'm 29 and currently doing the Daniel Fast. God has shown me so much during this fast and in my waiting season overall. I know that God is teaching me that He is enough & I can trust Him with my future. I heard a women's speaker, Lisa Harper, (she's on YT) say that seasons of suffering, when not caused by our own sin, are often preparation before our greatest blessings. So I am encouraged by your story and her message, that my waiting will be worth it! God bless your family.

I don't desire the gift of singleness so I know that's definitely not for me. I wait patiently and trust in the Lord. Its difficult sometimes as you think "how can it happen?" Oh thank-you so much for mentioning the lonelyness. I never felt lonely until God put someone on my heart to wait for. But yes, it can be really hard at times. And you mentioned "beauty" .. that is so perfect. God has shown me the beauty of the relationship He is brining me into, and the beauty of the woman he has for me. I can literally star at her in my heart for hours. She captivates me! I have been reading Wild at Heart and Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge and those books have been perfect for this season.

Very encouraging, thank you. That Psalm 62 verse is so good. Having just listened to you speak I feel like we would be friends. Thank you for mentioning "When God says no"...I have just been through one of those and it was so hard since at first things seemed nice and I got excited quickly, but then started hearing God speak. When I opened up that I felt like the Lord was saying no, the guy's reaction was to tell me God wasn't saying no, that he expected me to say that to him ever since I told him that I went to a pentecostal church, and told me I was "running out of time" (I'm 34 years old). It was really hard and I waited on God some more after that because I didn't want to let go. It's difficult to talk about because some Christians find the idea of hearing the voice of the Lord difficult to understand...I've learnt it is hard for others to understand because He is supernatural and takes faith to trust when He is speaking and it depends on personal relationship with Him. So hard though when going through it and trusting...it brought out all my insecurities about getting older and running out of time to have a family. I have to trust that my times are in His hands ❤️
I waited and prayed, and at the age of 52 I still haven't received a husband .... Now at this age it doesn't even matter anymore, I just wanted to mention ... And I think there are thousands and thousands of women like me on this planet.
That is correct and more honest. There are many women (and men) that will never receive a spouse. That is just the reality so it should not be called a "waiting season". Many dreams (not just of marriage) will never happen for people on this earth. Think of the amount of lives (all precious and potential for great things) that are lost to war or illness: children that did not get any chance to really live. This earth will have many trials and suffering (that is very clear in the Bible). That said there is the promise in the Bible "All things work together for good for those who love God" Perhaps we will never know how things have worked together for the best until we depart from earth. We just have to trust that things truly will work for the best even if we do not se or understand how it will.
I am waiting. I have huge problem with beliving in my dream, and God's will. This video helped me to click in my mind that I will be happy someday. And God wil help me, I have to wait. Thank youu very much for opening my eyes. I will not be afraid of being lonely anymore. Thank you!😇💙🌙🌠🌟💫
I am 62 and still believing for a Godly spouse! Been divorced for 29 yrs. Waiting is getting harder now that I am in my senior yrs! Don't want to be alone anymore!
I have been praying many many times in my younger years that I would find the right man where I could have my own family with (having a child). I am 55 years old now, never met "the man" and my childbearing days are over (had hope till I was 47). At 51 menopause arrived. I am very very sad that I could have had my own child or children, but it didn't happen because I didn't find the right man for me. Only heartache was my part. So you can believe in the waiting season like you said in this video, but eventually it doesn't happen for everybody. You are lucky, very lucky that you have found the man to spend your life with and are now expecting a baby.

I'll trust in Him even when trusting in Him doesn't make no sense. Keep loving God He's enough and you're complete in Him. A man will not complete you but God will. And again its not too late, He comes at eleventh hour, consider the Story of Job in the phase where God blessed him a hundred times more, Consider the story of Sarah and Abraham, Sarah was past Child bearing age but was blessed with Isaac. If its a desire that you have to find the one, Believe Him today He's gonna do it and you will never wish to have had it in any other way or even earlier than now!! Jesus Loves you!

Dear Sister, I don't know if you know... I'm 46y and a half, I'm born again at December 22nd! I had 1 official wedding, civil one with my son's father in 2002 and we are divorced for a very long time. And I had a wedding with an ex boyfriend in Vegas. I'm Portuguese, I'm alone since 2019, because I wanted to clean myself of a husband, and since I became a believer and follower of Jesus I've been praying for a Godly husband! Totally agree with you. I grew up watching Chinese romantic anime, fairytales then switched on to Kdrama binge-watching and Chinese drama addiction. All these not only created a false perception of romance this triggered me to imagine more and daydream. I used to watch hallmark movies only when I had no option because it was clearly predictable every time. It became quite a distractor and a snare that made me crave emotional connection and the feeling of being loved during singleness season. Every time I would go on an entertainment rave, it affected my spirituality. I had to put double the effort to regain my purity and intimacy in my relationship with God. A few months back, God told me to stop listening to and singing secular music and watching certain shows and entertainment.
Hmmm Interesting....I actually like watching Comedy Romance Movies, to help inspire me, and visualize my life. Watching those movies actually give me *hope*

Your testimony was really very helpful and encouraging and I am at this stage right now where I really want to remain single because I need to work on my self and heal from my past relationship wounds, but the thing is that there are good men that keep on showing up and texting me and I feel they are such a distraction and I’m feeling very anxious and frustrated because of guilt feelings of not responding on them, I feel i am being rude and impolite for not responding or texting back and even if I respond that I am not pursuing a relationship they keep on insisting which makes me so depressed and lose my peace… what should I do in this case 😢
I'm waiting on God and it hurts. I've been waiting for 6 years now and celibate. It hurts and feels like God won't ever send him. There is this guy that has tried to get with me for 4 years. He wants a relationship but I'm not attracted to him and I refuse to give myself to someone that I'm not attracted too. Waiting hurts and it feels like he would never come. My faith goes up and down very often. I'm so confused as to why God is making me wait so long. It's so frustrating and very hard to deal with. I don't won't to lose faith while waiting. Sometimes I just don't know what to do.

Try waiting all your adults life. I've always been single! I'm a 40 year old male. Asked many women out and it's the same response "I have a partner or I'm busy" It's more difficult today as women are more interested in looking at their smartphones. I've prayed for over 10 years for a wife and nothing!! I know singleness is a gift but I desire a wife and marriage. It doesn't make any sense.
How are you spending time in your singleness. Are you leaning and waiting God or are you trying to rush his work that he is doing in her . Yiu can use your time to build yourself in God because it takes 2 to get married but we need Jesus the most in the marriage . You should also work in breaking generational witchcraft and curses in your family . Your ministry God has given you and wait be Patient, pray for her , she could be going through warfare and she needs God .
Hang in there brother. There are decent women out there, it's just God knows where they are all at..lol. In the appointed time and by God's will you may meet the one God has for you. I totally understand your discouragement in not meeting anyone. I am almost 46 and have been praying many years. It may be God's will, it may not. It's disheartening sometimes. Hi! The week between when you met your husband at the restaurant and when he showed up at your church, what did you do? How did you feel? Where you ever thinking he would not see him again?
I've always been pursued by men through highschool, after. and I've entered into relationships that broke me (there were signs but I didnt know as a young person) and each heartache and lack of love or failure from lust relationships without His presence actually destroyed then molded me to seek after Him. When I found God of the Bible is real, I decided to live for Him and I was HIGH I don't need a man to fulfill me I wanted to be a business woman and was so happy success kept unfolding in my life. Then met someone who is not of God (unequally yolked) who love bombed me it was like a fairytale movie .... and this man hot pursued me saying I was the one, lets move together etc around the time all my friends were engaged, married, buying homes, having children so when it ended (ofc it did. we're not equally yolked) that actually destroyed me totally to truly be unveiled to His Word. This saved my soul. The entire scriptures are clear, His kingdom plans are clear. His commandments and plans to redeem us through what He has shown Israel and to redeem Israel has not never changed. We're being grafted in to that promise through Yeshua our messiah. I wasn't interested in anyone and was so good with being single and married to the Lord, waiting for the bridegroom... we never know what will happen in life so why worry about whether being married/single whatever? Just focus on each day as it is... If someone is meant for me then great but if not then the pain of disconnect is not worth it and He is so good give me so much joy through everything He continues to show me that He is with me as I seek Him. End of November 2022 someone popped up in my radar and I was floored by how incredible he is... that's why I'm here. I dont know him personally but he seems to be in every bit from the outside what I would want in a husband. temptation? how can someone fit what I desire so perfectly if I ever wanted a spouse? Its been 5 years of being single that felt like honestly a blink. My desire for marriage/being with people disappeared with my friends divorcing left right and center or being miserable in their marriage and having problems/wishing they were with someone else/being stuck and working things out and being unable to focus on God. So that made me ok with my singleness so I can devote myself completley to Him. For 3 years before my ex I was single, those years which also felt like a blink. If anyone is waiting for a relationship/marriage.... I know if God is willing I have a nearly blind friend who was born deaf few months after we met she fasted, was founded by the most handsome incredible guy and they've now married/with the cutest baby, he is so supporitive (ears and eyes for her) and they're very happy. I've also met a woman in her 80s be so excited move to europe/married joyful. I've met moms running with strollers as a group... they had their babies in their mid 40s. I don't know how these things happen but I know love is a gift. God loves to give good gifts. Being impatient about marriage or someone... whether something may or may not happen can be so messed up and sickening... but know that whether or not you have this person who you think God spoke to you about... whether you want it to be or not... just know by recounting all His miracles so far in you life and remember the redeemer lives. It's so painful to have your hope deferred. It makes the heart sick yes but know know know lift your soul and remember yours, ours, my Redeemer lives.
I am about to marry a man who has a one child out of wedlock. He took responsibilty to the child ..he didnt abandon him ever since he was born.but i wanna be careful with my decisions. I wanna follow God. I dont know if im in trouble now. It causes me pain and anxiety.Could someone giv me biblical advice. is it a sin against God to marry a man who has one child out of wedlock? i can't keep waiting on god for no man i would rather move on with my life i am a diabetic type 2 i am on insulin and i am on medication i am a proper diet i have to look after myself it is god who put me in the place i am on when i lost my mother i was sad i hardly couldn't accept the death of my mother i had these horrible signs that i wasn't feeling well i lost my appetite and i would sleep everyday and i was getting tired easily and i was taken by the hospital in an ambulance because my blood sugar was high and i was being told i was a diabetic
What you say is good advice and mostly helpful to many single people, but God does not promise anyone a spouse. Yes he's a loving God and he permits many of his people a spouse, and nonbelievers also generally find marriage as well. But some Christians are not chosen for marriage. They would like to be married, but God says no. Somehow keeping them from marriage is the best way for them to live even though it seems bad from our perspective. I am not referring to those men and women who are called to lifelong singleness, no these people want marriage but must learn to surrender that desire to God for their lives! And who would benefit the most from being single? Pastors and missionaries according to 1 Corinthians 7, yet those two groups of Christians often marry young and have several children right away. It's men and women who are in longterm, unwanted singleness that are told to surrender their desire to God and focus on serving him and improving themselves. Even if they've been living this way for 30 years. I am not criticizing your post, but I am asking the churches a very important question. Why are you not teaching all single people how to date, how to be married, and how to be parents? You wait till a couple announces their engagement, provide woefully inadequate marriage counseling, and elevate them to special status while basically ignoring your singles! Something is very wrong with this set up.
It's easier for women to meet a potential partner. For us men It's really difficult. Women have many boxes they want ticking. Their expectations are unrealistic.

It's difficult to talk about because some Christians find the idea of hearing the voice of the Lord difficult to understand...I've learnt it is hard for others to understand because He is supernatural and takes faith to trust when He is speaking and it depends on personal relationship with Him. So hard though when going through it and trusting...it brought out all my insecurities about getting older and running out of time to have a family. I have to trust that my times are in His hands ❤️
I waited and prayed, and at the age of 52 I still haven't received a husband ....
Now at this age it doesn't even matter anymore, I just wanted to mention ...
And I think there are thousands and thousands of women like me on this planet.
That is correct and more honest. There are many women (and men) that will never receive a spouse. That is just the reality so it should not be called a "waiting season". Many dreams (not just of marriage) will never happen for people on this earth. Think of the amount of lives (all precious and potential for great things) that are lost to war or illness: children that did not get any chance to really live. This earth will have many trials and suffering (that is very clear in the Bible). That said there is the promise in the Bible "All things work together for good for those who love God" Perhaps we will never know how things have worked together for the best until we depart from earth. We just have to trust that things truly will work for the best even if we do not se or understand how it will.

I have been praying many many times in my younger years that I would find the right man where I could have my own family with (having a child). I am 55 years old now, never met "the man" and my childbearing days are over (had hope till I was 47). At 51 menopause arrived. I am very very sad that I could have had my own child or children, but it didn't happen because I didn't find the right man for me. Only heartache was my part. So you can believe in the waiting season like you said in this video, but eventually it doesn't happen for everybody. You are lucky, very lucky that you have found the man to spend your life with and are now expecting a baby.

Totally agree with you. I grew up watching Chinese romantic anime, fairytales then switched on to Kdrama binge-watching and Chinese drama addiction. All these not only created a false perception of romance this triggered me to imagine more and daydream. I used to watch hallmark movies only when I had no option because it was clearly predictable every time. It became quite a distractor and a snare that made me crave emotional connection and the feeling of being loved during singleness season. Every time I would go on an entertainment rave, it affected my spirituality. I had to put double the effort to regain my purity and intimacy in my relationship with God. A few months back, God told me to stop listening to and singing secular music and watching certain shows and entertainment.

Your testimony was really very helpful and encouraging and I am at this stage right now where I really want to remain single because I need to work on my self and heal from my past relationship wounds, but the thing is that there are good men that keep on showing up and texting me and I feel they are such a distraction and I’m feeling very anxious and frustrated because of guilt feelings of not responding on them, I feel i am being rude and impolite for not responding or texting back and even if I respond that I am not pursuing a relationship they keep on insisting which makes me so depressed and lose my peace… what should I do in this case 😢

I'm waiting on God and it hurts. I've been waiting for 6 years now and celibate. It hurts and feels like God won't ever send him. There is this guy that has tried to get with me for 4 years. He wants a relationship but I'm not attracted to him and I refuse to give myself to someone that I'm not attracted too. Waiting hurts and it feels like he would never come. My faith goes up and down very often. I'm so confused as to why God is making me wait so long. It's so frustrating and very hard to deal with. I don't won't to lose faith while waiting. Sometimes I just don't know what to do.

Try waiting all your adults life. I've always been single! I'm a 40 year old male. Asked many women out and it's the same response "I have a partner or I'm busy" It's more difficult today as women are more interested in looking at their smartphones. I've prayed for over 10 years for a wife and nothing!! I know singleness is a gift but I desire a wife and marriage. It doesn't make any sense.
How are you spending time in your singleness. Are you leaning and waiting God or are you trying to rush his work that he is doing in her .
Yiu can use your time to build yourself in God because it takes 2 to get married but we need Jesus the most in the marriage .
You should also work in breaking generational witchcraft and curses in your family . Your ministry God has given you and wait be Patient, pray for her , she could be going through warfare and she needs God .
Hang in there brother. There are decent women out there, it's just God knows where they are all at..lol. In the appointed time and by God's will you may meet the one God has for you. I totally understand your discouragement in not meeting anyone. I am almost 46 and have been praying many years. It may be God's will, it may not. It's disheartening sometimes. Hi! The week between when you met your husband at the restaurant and when he showed up at your church, what did you do? How did you feel? Where you ever thinking he would not see him again?
I've always been pursued by men through highschool, after. and I've entered into relationships that broke me (there were signs but I didnt know as a young person) and each heartache and lack of love or failure from lust relationships without His presence actually destroyed then molded me to seek after Him. When I found God of the Bible is real, I decided to live for Him and I was HIGH I don't need a man to fulfill me I wanted to be a business woman and was so happy success kept unfolding in my life. Then met someone who is not of God (unequally yolked) who love bombed me it was like a fairytale movie .... and this man hot pursued me saying I was the one, lets move together etc around the time all my friends were engaged, married, buying homes, having children so when it ended (ofc it did. we're not equally yolked) that actually destroyed me totally to truly be unveiled to His Word. This saved my soul. The entire scriptures are clear, His kingdom plans are clear. His commandments and plans to redeem us through what He has shown Israel and to redeem Israel has not never changed. We're being grafted in to that promise through Yeshua our messiah. I wasn't interested in anyone and was so good with being single and married to the Lord, waiting for the bridegroom... we never know what will happen in life so why worry about whether being married/single whatever? Just focus on each day as it is... If someone is meant for me then great but if not then the pain of disconnect is not worth it and He is so good give me so much joy through everything He continues to show me that He is with me as I seek Him. End of November 2022 someone popped up in my radar and I was floored by how incredible he is... that's why I'm here. I dont know him personally but he seems to be in every bit from the outside what I would want in a husband. temptation? how can someone fit what I desire so perfectly if I ever wanted a spouse? Its been 5 years of being single that felt like honestly a blink. My desire for marriage/being with people disappeared with my friends divorcing left right and center or being miserable in their marriage and having problems/wishing they were with someone else/being stuck and working things out and being unable to focus on God. So that made me ok with my singleness so I can devote myself completley to Him. For 3 years before my ex I was single, those years which also felt like a blink. If anyone is waiting for a relationship/marriage.... I know if God is willing I have a nearly blind friend who was born deaf few months after we met she fasted, was founded by the most handsome incredible guy and they've now married/with the cutest baby, he is so supporitive (ears and eyes for her) and they're very happy. I've also met a woman in her 80s be so excited move to europe/married joyful. I've met moms running with strollers as a group... they had their babies in their mid 40s. I don't know how these things happen but I know love is a gift. God loves to give good gifts. Being impatient about marriage or someone... whether something may or may not happen can be so messed up and sickening... but know that whether or not you have this person who you think God spoke to you about... whether you want it to be or not... just know by recounting all His miracles so far in you life and remember the redeemer lives. It's so painful to have your hope deferred. It makes the heart sick yes but know know know lift your soul and remember yours, ours, my Redeemer lives.

I am about to marry a man who has a one child out of wedlock. He took responsibilty to the child ..he didnt abandon him ever since he was born.but i wanna be careful with my decisions. i can't keep waiting on god for no man i would rather move on with my life i am a diabetic type 2 i am on insulin and i am on medication i am a proper diet i have to look after myself it is god who put me in the place i am on when i lost my mother i was sad i hardly couldn't accept the death of my mother i had these horrible signs that i wasn't feeling well i lost my appetite and i would sleep everyday and i was getting tired easily and i was taken by the hospital in an ambulance because my blood sugar was high and i was being told i was a diabetic
It's the only way I obey what the Holy Spirit tell me it hard not to when he take over my mouth

What you say is good advice and mostly helpful to many single people, but God does not promise anyone a spouse. Yes he's a loving God and he permits many of his people a spouse, and nonbelievers also generally find marriage as well. But some Christians are not chosen for marriage. They would like to be married, but God says no. Somehow keeping them from marriage is the best way for them to live even though it seems bad from our perspective. I am not referring to those men and women who are called to lifelong singleness, no these people want marriage but must learn to surrender that desire to God for their lives! And who would benefit the most from being single? Pastors and missionaries according to 1 Corinthians 7, yet those two groups of Christians often marry young and have several children right away. It's men and women who are in longterm, unwanted singleness that are told to surrender their desire to God and focus on serving him and improving themselves. Even if they've been living this way for 30 years. I am not criticizing your post, but I am asking the churches a very important question. Why are you not teaching all single people how to date, how to be married, and how to be parents? You wait till a couple announces their engagement, provide woefully inadequate marriage counseling, and elevate them to special status while basically ignoring your singles! Something is very wrong with this set up.
Jesus is coming soon, accept him as your Lord and Savior and repent from all your sins before it's too late for you to be saved.
