However in these shows allot of the focus is based on the lymp cells being called into action to help direct the while blood cell's to where the infection is at. Now I've always have been taught that it is the helper t cells that direct the while blood cells to where the enemy is. Is it the lymp cells or the help t cells that do this job?
The body fights an unknown enemy and so recovery is significantly slower and symptoms are usually worse/last longer. Once it's over, however, you gain the same immunities. Vaccines are a "cheat sheet" for the white blood corpuscles.

Helper T-cells do that, the problem is they didn't know that in the late 80's when this show was made.
