2:47 i have a question, how can i zoom like this when grappling ? i trying to get into playing pathy more, i know that u can do like the big grapp to for example push someone by jumping as soon as the grapple hits the ground, but i struggle with grappling to zoom, apart from zooming with zdge boosting: i mean like the grapples where u get at least 23-25sec cooldown minimum. He seems to me here liek he takes a step back when the grapple attaches or something there idk lul ty in advance :D
@saadbenhamou3334 I’m not 100% sure but I think the grapple in that clip connects on the way back. Usually when these graps happen they pull you forward a lot more than vertically. After that when you land jump as soon as you touch the ground the first time. Then bunny hop for the rest of the momentum. Hope this helped 🙏🏻
theres a lot of different things you can do in order to maximise distance and speed from a grapple, not all of them are necessary depending on the situation and some are more tedious to set up maximising the distance from the point you connect to will allow you to build up more speed, your cursor lights up blue when you are looking at something you can grapple to so you can use that as an indication of the maximum distance jumping when the grapple hits a surface will make you do more of an arc which builds up more speed as opposed to going straight towards the place you grappled strafing in the air around the point you grappled will also give you a wider swing and build more speed turning your camera away from the point you connected to also helps slightly, keep in mind if you turn too far away from connection point your grapple will break, being right on the edge of it breaking is where youll get the most speed out of a grapple bhopping or sliding can be used to maintain momentum after you land, if you fall from too far youll lose all your speed when you hit the floor unless you hit the edge of an object or the surface you land on is steep enough theres also something called a super grapple where your grapple connects to a surface on its way back to you instead of when you first shoot it out, as far as im aware this doesnt make you go faster in the end but does make it so that you accelerate to that max speed a lot faster (this is what happened at the point in the video you timestamped) you can also jump backwards or slide back whilst shooting out your grapple so that you slightly extend the length of your grapple before slingshotting, this is generally not as useful unless you have the extra couple seconds and safety to set it up and need to cover a further distance generally for a decent distance grapple that you can rely on you only need to perfect the timing of your jump when you connect, maximising the distance of your connection point and maintaining momentum out of your grapple. you can use some or all of these together depending on your situation and what exactly you're trying to do
@@bven587 i play path a lot and the weirdest thing to me is when you get speed like that sometimes you should bhop and sometimes you should just slide it depends on the steepness of the slope since it was slightly downhill he could slide farther without losing speed its not clear to me sometimes why i lose speed
Path having the care package passive suits mende so well so he can know which care has bocek or not

theres a lot of different things you can do in order to maximise distance and speed from a grapple, not all of them are necessary depending on the situation and some are more tedious to set up
maximising the distance from the point you connect to will allow you to build up more speed, your cursor lights up blue when you are looking at something you can grapple to so you can use that as an indication of the maximum distance
jumping when the grapple hits a surface will make you do more of an arc which builds up more speed as opposed to going straight towards the place you grappled
strafing in the air around the point you grappled will also give you a wider swing and build more speed
turning your camera away from the point you connected to also helps slightly, keep in mind if you turn too far away from connection point your grapple will break, being right on the edge of it breaking is where youll get the most speed out of a grapple
bhopping or sliding can be used to maintain momentum after you land, if you fall from too far youll lose all your speed when you hit the floor unless you hit the edge of an object or the surface you land on is steep enough
theres also something called a super grapple where your grapple connects to a surface on its way back to you instead of when you first shoot it out, as far as im aware this doesnt make you go faster in the end but does make it so that you accelerate to that max speed a lot faster (this is what happened at the point in the video you timestamped)
