Nice, the original uses 18 ring neck pheasant feathers (3x3 on each side). Bulks it up a lot. Very effective fly.

Sweet. I spent a month and a half in New Zealand in 1991 and used them a little. The large ones were extra bulky. I like the smaller, sparse ones for my waters.
