Jimmie Vaughan is humble too and this interview hels get him more noticed if you hadn't found him yet...Its called publicity and Jimmie Vaughan is a great guitar player on the blue's and some rock N roll when Jimmie played with his brother Stevie Ray Vaughan..Jimmie plays with the Thunderbirds and there sensational..Like listening to Jimmie Vaughan and listening to his music and how he got started and all..
Go ahead Jimmie..u have permission to light up a cig..take a smoke and relax..love the car and a great color..Gigs is a great place to play guitar..and with all the moving around the country..The guitar become a lifetime job..Jimmie Vaughan is a great blue's legend and played for a great music band with Kim Wilson ...another legend..
Got to see the T-Birds in Syracuse @ the “Lost Horizon “ in late 85. Got all their autographs and got to chat with Jimmy Lee for great night… for me and the BLUES!!!🙏🎸🍺😎🤷🏽 CLASS ACT!!👍🏼🍺🇺🇸
And that ain't all that was perfect about him ... his playing as a young man on the original T-Birds records is ... well, it just doesn't get any better than that.
Not only does JV epitomize the 3 Ts when it comes to guitar playing (Tone, Touch, Timing), along with the likes of Big John Milner is the personification of 50s "cool". I met him in NZ when the T Birds supported SRV in the 80s & again on the Big Island in Hawaii in the 20s & you couldn't meet a nicer, more personable gentlemen...
Jimmy Vaughan was more a shy young man and had to take time to think what he was gonna say..This is appearance I get and at the time he did this interview that's the way it was then..You really didn't say too much..but..I'd say this interview was to get himself out in the community or world that he was musical inclined..anyway..Jimmy is a very well down to earth person and liked..
And???? So what they have him standing in one spot for an hour. I too would be leaning on the car or standing with my arm on my hip or side. Whats the problem???
I ain’t never seen or heard anyone as much in denial about being influenced by Elvis Presley as this guy, if you put him in a jumpsuit you would say he was an Elvis impersonator
whoever the interviewer was, was terrible. made it difficult to watch. Jimmie lee is very interesting and wonderful to listen to, but whoever was directing and asking sure was making him work for it.
Tyrone Vaughan looks so much like Jimmie, so glad to see the talent continue with another generation.
Jimmie Vaughan, there's both a toughness & warmth in his playing - his character. Lovely feller.
Jimmie Looks Cool 1950's style By The way I Like Jimmie's 1949 Custom made Purple/White Chevy car.

And his hair was perfect
And that ain't all that was perfect about him ... his playing as a young man on the original T-Birds records is ... well, it just doesn't get any better than that.
Jimmy Lee resembles actor Frank Whaley in PULP FICTION 😂😂
Samuel Jackson shouting at him: “Bret, say WHAT, one more time Bret!!”
Clifford Antone at 1:25
makes you wonder just how much of an architect he was with things during that period of music in Austin/Texas......RIP Clifford and Thank You.....
Amen. Few people did more for the blues than Clifford.
Jimmie's first notable Custom '51 Chevy Fleetline
30 years ago.... who knew how influencial Jimmie - or Stevie - would become.
2 more years and Jimmie would be riding high with Tuff Enough.

Curious footage. I wonder what the purpose of this interview was for?
I believe it was supposed to be a part of a documentary made for MTV, if you can believe that.
@Brandon Waugh what did he say?
He is still scratching. Even today. Lol!
He sounds like Stevie
He was cute

He had to think about what he was gonna say from the coke and booze tbh
what happend to his voice lol ?
Booze
Those weren't cigs he grabbed from the car were they?
Kool. People smoke
His mechanic lost the key to this car and called me to replace it. 50 chevrolet.
The interviewer should have tried 2 or 3 different shots. Vaughn put up with a lot of crap.
It just seems like He hated talking about his childhood.
Hey Jimmy get that million $ guitar back yet?.../great dude esp rythum and carrying no show boating
Hands on hips??? hmmm
