A RIDE ON THE HILCOTE VALLEY MINIATURE RAILWAY at FLETCHER'S GARDEN CENTRE ECCLESHALL 23.7.24

A beautiful summer day in North Staffordshire, and an elongated lunch break for myself and SJ, spent riding on the delightful 7 1/4" gauge railway at the popular garden centre in Eccleshall.
This is a guard's eye view, from the rear of the train, facing backwards, showing the whole line in glorious sunshine.
As well as the new station, the area between the station and yard has now been redeveloped as a go cart track. Nice to see the garden centre being improved after the awful fire that took the old station and ticket office.
We will be back to Hilcote soon for the steam locomotive.
