Carla will be performing here in Chicago in a couple of weeks. I was stunned to learn that my 13 year old niece and a couple of women I know who are in their '40s are very familiar with Carla's music. I did not realize that Carla is such a big star. Sure hope the weather cooperates as she'll be performing in a beautiful outdoor venue.
