I lost my identical twin to breast cancer in 2010. I prayed for the whole 5 years she was sick for God to heal her. But she slowly wasted away and died. Guess what happened? My faith grew. My love for the Lord grew. I knew there was no cancer where she was, no needle sticks, no bone scans. She had been made well, just not in the way I wanted. I got to hold her as she took her last breath. Being her twin (and having been there when she took her first breath because I was born five minutes ahead of her) it seemed fitting. I miss her so much, but my sorrow is checked by the realization that she's with the Lord. God gives and God takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. I know someday I'll see her again so I grief her, but not without hope. This song came out less than a year after she died and it gave me a lot of encouragement.

I never cry in movies, let alone songs, but this music video had me bawling. I volunteer at a hospital and am preparing to work in healthcare so I recognized a lot of the procedures that were going on and it made it all the more real to me. I've seen families waiting anxiously for their family members and I only have a sense of how painful it must be. I would probably cry in admiration if I saw parents praying/reading scripture while waiting like that for their child. A real example of trusting God in the hardest of times- the times our faith is tested and proven to be purer than gold which is tested by fire.
December 15th 2020. I am in need of prayer. Today, I almost took my life and I heard this song and it stopped me and yet I still have this battle in my heart between life and death.

"Your will is sufficient for me." Oh how hard it can be to pray those words when the world is falling down around you. Especially, to a brand new believer. But if one can truly get to that place in their heart, it is amazing the feeling of comfort and peace! He IS with you.

Dear Rebecca I just wanted to say thank you for your humility. It helped me. I get caught up sometimes in the doing and forget that it's God not me. Very humbling yet so true. I never want to focus on blessings rather than the creator of those blessings.

My life is a product of prayer. I was born 3 months early, and the doctors said that even if I survived, I would most likely have cerebral palsy, speech defects, and learning defects. Through the GRACE and MERCY of God, as well as hundreds of people praying for me, none of the defects the doctors predicted have happened. I played baseball for 10 years, and am currently taking various college classes while still in high school. I've dedicated my life to glorifying God with everything I am.
my dad recently had heart surgery. I remember sitting in the waiting room listening to this song. oh my has this helped me through that situation!!!!! I just have to say thanks Aaron for this inspiring piece of music. god bless you sir!!!!

I've had calls like that... -You know what, even though we know our victim isn't going to make it... We still try, we give it everthing even though we know they aren't coming back... -It's the hardest thing... But when we tell the family that their loved one is gone... We can honestly say "We did try as hard as we could... We did everything we could..." -I hear the pager go off for a call, before I am even en-route, I am praying! :)

I love this song - the video tears me up - it reminds of my own frantic drive home when my dad died, praying for 2.5 hours while trying to find out what had happened/was happening. My joy is that we were all there to say good bye and my greater joy is that, someday in the future, I know beyond all doubt that I will see him again.
