- Trailer for the sadly unreleased documentary which shows a more personal side of the band members, and interviews with their friends and family, also talking about some really dark topics like drug abuse and problems they are facing. Sadly assloads of the band's stuff never got released, the Reunion show FULL concert, various shows Audiotree recorded and even streamed that I had captured but lost due to a HDD crash... Sadly I doubt that this documentary is ever going to be released.
we should, like, get a petition going to have this documentary finally stitched together and released.

RELEASE THIS DOCUMENTARY. NOW. DON'T SQUANDER THE GIFT.
Things are in works and could be tied to Thomas dropping his first solo album which is imminent. There are hundreds of hours of footage including a very long interview that I reluctantly aquiesed to. I do believe that a documentary will eventually be released regardless of the hurdles that need to be cleared. There is also a documentary on Thomas in progress that may combine with some of this stuff. At any rate what I’ve seen is excellent and I hope that you’ll be patient. I promise you’ll get your reward sooner or later. Thomas and I were just discussing last night what had been happening in this regard... Wait until you hear Thomas’ new album!!!!!! Brace yourselves.
Cant wait to hear the new stuff. You probably don’t remember me; but we met probably 10 years ago a few times in Mill Creek at the Jet after TFOT was on hiatus before JLV. My band used to jam there and you were always a great guy. Anyway, out here in indiana I’m still wishing you guys all the best. Makes me proud of Mukilteo.

The new album was just decent. I dunno what the problem is but I do think that they kind of pigeonholed themselves into a genre that was almost too unique to really go anywhere else. I appreciate that he's trying. I'd love to interview Thomas myself one day if I ever got the chance, I have ties to the film industry (we're based out of New Orleans) and they're always looking for the next great "music story" whether it be in rock or hip hop or whatever. Biopics are basically never out of vogue. I think the idea behind struggling artists is always very palpable as well, especially when they seemingly have everything they could possibly need. But real, personal realities change and conflict and that is the heart and soul of every single band in history ever. It's also why I fear band music may be dying. Anyway, yeah, as a serious offer I'd love to talk to Thomas and see what we can do. The fans obviously want it.
I can't speak for everyone else but I'd pay a certain amount of money to see the documentary in it's completed form. Have some of the extra footage you didn't use as a bonus featurette or two. Your FANS would pay for this. I don't think you're ever gonna get the film distributed otherwise.

Northwoods Revolution or TFOT need to push this doc out ASAP. Even if it's incomplete, this was pre-OK and it's time to just release it.
I met both Tim and Andrew last weekend at a music festival. Tim was more to himself and helpful while Andrew was in a goofy mood

These guys are all amazing people. I wish nothing but the best to Tom, Thomas, Tim, and Andrew. I miss seeing you guys live and back when we used to jam at the Jet. I HOPE THE SOLO STUFF CRUSHES IT. I’ve been a supporter since day one at the YMCA and the Blue Church. Mukilteo represent.
The greatest 3 piece band in a long time that couldn't make it happen. I wish we got to see their prime. They were just too young to keep it all between the lines. I still love Fall of Troy!!!

Damn, I really wanted audiotree to release this documentary.
The fall of Troy has been my favorite band for over half my life and I would love to see this but I don't think it's fair to put pressure on them to release it. Having dealt with addiction myself and still dealing with the repercussions from that I can see reasons why it would be hard to go through with something as personal as this. Not saying that's the reason it's not out yet but just in case I think it's a little selfish to pressure them. Meanwhile I'll be patient and eagerly await any shows or new music when they are ready to release it.
Loved these dudes in highschool. Finally Saw them for the first time opening for Glassjaw in San Antonio Tx. Crazy this documentary is years old I really hope to see it in full someday. 🖤
It’s true...Thomas is a 1 in a million musician. He should be making incredible music for decades. Please don’t drink or do heroin. I used to live that life, but now I’m a doctor! Anything is possible

I was born in 1945 when I was getting into rock at age 9 I heard Elvis Presley bb king all those ledgenary artists play the guitar I wanted to creat something new like how pink Floyd did even tfot no kidding playing crazy notes but was to poor to afford music equipment it was all In my head but didn't make it happen til 1990 now it's like I don't wanna published music don't wanna sound like any other band but that's impossible. Life's beautiful and Cherish every moment glad to see those bands shine and have that same idea of music like I did they made it happen not me

Damn. These guys were my favorite band in high school. Around 2006. I'd always come out to see their shows. I remember when Tim got replaced and driving out to Rockford IL from Chicago just to ask what happened and just got a vague answer of things weren't working out from their new bassist. Fall of Troy was never a big band by any measurement so there wasn't any news about them. Just looking at them now and how they've aged is so disheartening. I've never even listened to their new music since their first breakup. I'm sure I would like it but I've just fallen out of the music scene in general.

Where's the final product? I'd love to see it. Huge fan of this band since I caught them opening for Coheed in 2007 and it's incredibly interesting to get a glimpse of what these guys are like in real life.

I mean, at what point do you just release it for free on RUclips? I don't know, what are they waiting on like a Sundance deal to happen? A Netflix offer? That will almost certainly never happen. They don't have the name to command it, they may never have to be honest, they were always relatively obscure. I would pay good money to see it myself.

@Frank Marano The trailer was amazing. It looked complete from that standpoint. It would be a real shame if it's just lost forever cause it's some dude's laptop. Realistically, let's find him and pay him whatever it costs to buy it ... unless said laptop is lost or dead or something. That would be terrible.
on a side note, yeah man they are one of my favorite guitar bands of all time just because Erak's playing style is so strange it's almost like learning his shit or trying to is learning exercises. Exercises that he somehow made math rock tunes. I look at his songs almost like puzzles because they're so unconventional to play. He almost invented his own style of playing in other words which is Hendrix-ish.
And for sure I dunno when he streams, I tried commenting on a few of his videos but he never responded. I am in the film industry, too, I could actually like help in this regard.
@Frank Marano I could probably help get the documentary released if we had access to the original to begin with. I know distributors, etc. If it was me I would release it for free if I couldn't secure a Netflix deal or something like that, but sadly it all hinges on finding the source material to begin with and I fear that's kinda lost forever now.
