I think his 'mock horn' is really beautiful. To me, Raul Midon is more than just a guitar player. He hums along in unison to change the tone of his lines, and adds the lip buzzing to add harmonies that he feels flesh out his ideas. I think if you listen to it more, you'll find that he takes nothing away by adding either thing.

They compliment each other so well! Lionel is so creative in his accompaniment. They’re both just so great.
