I had the pitch modified to eliminate the centre click. I personally think it was worth it because it makes it easier to feather the pitch slider if you ever find yourself beat matching at that central “0” point. Coincidentally though, it’s quite rare that a beat match happens on that central point. However it has annoyed me before when trying to beat match right on the click, hence why I modified it 😄
yeah the pitch fader on one of my turntables has two 0 points which can be frustrating. I need to get the pitch fader recalibrated. Not a big deal, it's just annoying.
Technics decks are an absolute fortune now day's, so had to get some Stanton ST.150 M2's at half the price, I had Technics 1210 MK 5 back in the day
My technics 1200s don't have a notch in the center! Instead, its a button to disable the slider
I'm guessing a later model?

think I need to replace the faders on my 1200mk2 pair.
over time I've learnt to compensate for it.
if one track is at zero and the next is ie. 1 BPM above or below. sometimes I have to nudge both tracks off a bit to get the matching more stable.

Hi Johathan my name is Mike and I dj on radio in the US we had 2 technics turntables but one broke on us and I don't know if we are going to replace it our station did not tell us as they are real expensive by the way I have subscribed to your channel I don't want to miss all the fun
