If these Guys can pull it off and make the playoffs they will be the most battle tested team in the N.L. Now if they can make the top spot of the wild card they will be extra scary because they're top 3 starters can hang with any in the league then Senga Quintana and Megil would really fortify the Bullpen. Getting McNeil back would also would make the Mets super scary and and a nightmare for our opponent's. Missing the Playoffs is a possibility for this team and winning the World Series is also not outside of the realm of possibility. The very loyal and beat up Met fans really need for this to happen and have something good to feel about for the first time in a very very long time. LGM
I wish someone asked Iglesias why he didn't score on the (uncalled) error where Alonso reached with two outs in the 4th. Iglesias is usually a terrific baserunner; I'm not clear on why he was asleep there.

Jose Iglesias was out of baseball the entire 2023 season. He was one of Stearns earliest signings in the offseason. David Stearns, baseball genius.
