Of all the different channels who do content like this, I like yours the most. You are funny. The way you read the stories, changes in tone, pitch, volume as well as the relevant pauses, it's just fun to listen, enjoy with often a giggle, a guffaw, chortle or outright belly laugh. Thank you.
I was the FNG and learned the computer point of sale system. As such I helped everyone, a senior employee asked how to fix a problem item. Sure no problem. I shifted to a maintenance screen. He then says "What are you doing? I don't use that screen!" Don't know what to say its what needs To be done! He refused my help! He still waiting as I refused to just fix it!
"Why did you do this to us?" The same reason why you thought it was smart to rob me of my hard earn money. I felt like it. Should have just paid a hard working Employee their hard working pay. *shrug* Too late now.
The story about the heating system in the rental .... After the first failed repair, I'd have already made arrangements to replace the system. But I suspect the agents weren't being truthful to the owner. And when the owner visited the repair the second time probably assumed the renters were embellishing how bad it was because the agents weren't being forthcoming. And why weren't the agents being upfront? I suspect they would have had to put the tenants up somewhere else while the problem was being addressed. I've never replaced a boiler. The closest thing I have done is a hot water tank. But I imagine a system large enough to heat a home is a pretty massive undertaking and may take more than a day or two to install. (Removal of all system and install the new.) Hell, this level of work may even require a permit. I'm sure at the end of the day there was something in the contract that would have out of pocket expenses for the agents and that is why this mess went south.
Thanks for sharing your stories everyday RedWheel. Hope you are well. Please stay safe.🏴😁😷👍. Hi everyone hope you have all had a wonderful weekend and the week ahead will be amazing for all of us
I was once laid off from a job. They gave me a week and a half verbal notice, when the legal requirement is 2 weeks written notice. They handed me the written notice, back dated to 2 weeks before, on the last day that I was there. I dutifully reported them to the Labour Relations Board and, soon after, received an email from the CFO talking about "how we've been so good to you for years, so why would you do this to us?" I used the business writing skills that I'd honed by being made to write his correspondence, whenever he visited from head office, to respond. You were good to me? Left me working alone for 3 months away from home, paying up front from my own pocket, so that you could secure a government contract. Didn't remember that I had worked for the company for 7 years, but instead thought it was 4. Shorted me on my termination and severance pay. Failed to meet your legal requirements to provide me with 2 weeks' written warning of the layoff. Yeah, "good to me." Right. Never got another message from him, but the gov't got me my money.
Many a chortle for these stories. Many a groan for the inept teaser-writer who cannot use standard English and cannot connect the stories with the teasers.
Wtf. Every video lately had music so loud it makes it difficult to hear your narration. I listen to these stories in bed with the earphones on. Never used to be like this @redwheel
There was music? Really? No, I'm not be phesius, I really didn't notice, I was so into the stories I didn't hear the music. You can try taking your earphones off or you can go see your hearing specialist, you maybe experiencing hearing issues..see problem solved.

@@heywaitaminute1984 no hearing issues. I lie in bed and use the stories to go to sleep. And if I wake up in the night I carry on.
Try the earphones.
