Blake, you deserve so many more than 10K subs but I'm so glad to see you hit this milestone! It would probably be so easy not to bother picking up the camera and taking us along on your adventures, but we so appreciate you doing so! I still hope to see you out on the fishing grounds someday - squidding is the one frontier of Puget Sound fishing I have yet to explore, but who knows what 2025 holds...! You bring a lot of people a lot of joy with these videos - happy New Year to you and your family! P.S. Glad to see you breaking in the new boat! Seems to handle the weather well!
Congratulations Blake on 10K! Well-deserved. Really enjoy your videos. Hopefully I will make it down there for some fishing and crabbing. Happy New Year and wish you and the family good health in 2025!
YAEEE !! My Favorite you tuber :) triple thumbs UP.,.Blake? is that your new( new to you) boat ? and was this yesterday? I remember how GOOD squid taste Yummo.,. Score! Enjoy!! that ink was just a battle scar! wear it with pride Levi :) and as always love the crab cam!!
Congrats on 10K! Funny because I've only crabbed that area once. It was bad, we got skunked . . . . until we were taking the boat out at the ramp and what do you know, a legal sized dungie had the misfortune to walk by in really shallow water. We got him, but it was pretty comical and I remember getting wet doing it.
Congratulations blake if i could i would subscribe 3 or 4 times more haha. I love your videos alot of your info i have used for fishing near Vancouver Canada in fact plug cut herring with a banana weight got me a 9 pound hatchery coho this September. Have a great new year and may 2025 bring many more Washington fish quests.
I subscribed a long while ago but the reason I opened it this morning is because I saw Redondo, I was thinking Calif? It's a bit too far south for any good crabbing so I opened it. Glad I did. It's been a long time since I have been back to Wash and don't recall ever being there. In Calif. I used a Sabiki rig with a bit of bait on the hooks and brought them in several at a time. Fantastic bait!!
If you ever wanna come crab again in area 11 try crabbing in the Caledonia bay side of browns point in 50-70 feet of water. I was out this whole winter and with two pots would limit four people for dungeonous crab from one two hour soak
Redondo is by backyard but I have PTSD when it come to launching and retrieving. Almost sunk the 14 ft 3 times going solo beaching it when going to and from parking.
Thanks as always YAFK! Yeah that launch is bonkers. This trip a dude just parked on the launch and I had to ask him to move. I went back solo and retrieving solo on a Saturday probably cut my lifespan down a few months. Lol, never again (solo on a Saturday)!
Thanks! Yeah, either of those would work I think. Pully crossed my mind but I thought maybe a pully needed to increase pulling leverage. If not pully certainly a block tho. Thank you for catchin me! 🙏
Proud to be one of 10,000 🎉Congrats Blake!
Thank you John!
Congadulations on the subscriber milestone. Nice to see the dungeness returning to the southern areas. It wasn’t looking too good for a few years…
Thanks Troy!! The people who know where to get em in MA11 seem to limit regular. Those like me though luck out into a few every now and then it seems!
Congratulations on 10,000.🎉
Thanks as always Walt! I still use some of those pots you gave me!
Blake of WFQ is definitely a Town Legend. Happy for your success, keep it going!
Thanks David! From one legend to another then. 😎
Great catch Blake, I wish I knew how to catch squid in Oregon.
Thanks Steve! I'm just figuring it out in WA really. (It is a lot easier on piers tho).
Been watching you nearly all all those years. All good fun. Thank you Blake, from an old guy in Maple Valley, Wa.

Pulley
Although Destin would maybe call it a Snatch Block

Catch me in mments... I think I were looking for pulley.. or block. Really not sure what the difference is
Thanks! Yeah, either of those would work I think. Pully crossed my mind but I thought maybe a pully needed to increase pulling leverage. If not pully certainly a block tho. Thank you for catchin me! 🙏
Going out anytime soon? Girlfriend and i would love to join!
