Her commercial for her podcast was one of the creepiest/cringiest things I've ever seen. Between her Joker-like smile, the strange cadence and tone of her voice, and the actual words themselves (the perspective that you have of me has been shaped by the Media Lens...or something like that), I don't know which one out creepied the other.

I'm an American in my 40s. If I joined I would be so happy if someone helped me with clothes. I'd watch tech for years how it goes before trying to make any changes. I knew she would never be able to be royal. She likes to talk to much, its all about her and would never conform. Being Harry's wife isn't about clothes and going on free vacations when she is supposed to be doing walkabouts , like in Australia, and not having lunch without Jessica Mulroney. Why are they doing walkabout now???
If those were too difficult for he to follow, she wouldn't have survived joining an Asian or Middle easterner royal family. The codes are even stricter plus she wouldn't even be able to say such things because an entire country will rally behind their royal family and say she is disrespectful of the culture. Even though Asian royals aren't as powerful as Western royalty, Asians definitely have more respect for their royal families even if they don't agree with them.

Your comment with the mundane work is spot on. Most people gloss over that fact. When they came to the US, they formed a Foundation and not a Charity. The Foundation only has to use 5% of it's money for charitable endeavors. This is very telling of their intent.

As an American, she had a lot of nerve thinking she could change the British Royal Family. Did they need to be modernized yes, but Prince Charles, Prince William, and even the Queen are doing it. They're all British citizens (something Meghan said she was going to be, but that never happened) who were brought up there. Meghan married the fifth, soon to be sixth with the birth of Louis, in-line to the throne. She had no real authority over anything and never would. I'm tired of all of her hateful "truths". Has she ever said anything positive about the Royal Family since she left? She and Harry allowed the Oprah interview to air while Prince Phillip lay dying. That's so absolutely shameful. I'll never have any respect for them because of that.

Thanks for sharing this info. I celebrated when he was released from prison and I'm an American. The ending of Apartheid and the winning of the Presidency are things to be celebrated World-wide. Her silly wedding isn't. She hasn't suffered from the injustices he did. She wasn't selected by the people to be a Royal Family member. She married the fifth (soon to be sixth) in line to the throne. This has very little prestige in the whole scheme of things. She needs to stop lying about South Africa (the housing-unit for example) and trying to get clout by mentioning Mandela's name. She also said the no one asked if I was okay line during their Africa trip. She visited people in poverty infested slums and she has the nerve to say that.

I have posted before - that I was so happy and proud as an American that a beautiful, smart, American woman of color was going to have a global platform to spread her great ideas of truth and beauty for the whole world! Awesome! But then she started to get caught up in these stupid lies, and then her treatment of people who were there to help and serve her was embarrassing and downright, straight-up bullying, and then that THREAT - that she can say whatever she wants because she didn't sign a NDA - that really was evil. Because she knows that the Royal Family will not defend themselves from outrageous lies. And then it dawned on me - her husband and children will never ascend the throne, meaning she will never be Queen. And I think she thinks - why do all that service for England when she has to play second fiddle to Kate and her family (the rumors of her jealousy of Charlotte are not so outrageous in this context) so I believe she doesn't care how much damage she does to the Monarchy. And Harry just plays along with her lies. Because he's angry too that he will never be King. I think they're both entitled, completely un-self-aware people who don't have the money to live in Montecieto and they don't want to put in the extra effort for real service - unless they get paid for it in some way. I'm sad to say that she is a narcissist - who happens to be a woman of color unfortunately for the women of color that she represents. It's embarrassing and disappointing for us, because there are millions of black women who will never give up in the face of racism. @@randykelly7676 I used to feel sorry for Harry, but he is complicit. He didn't have to lie, but he was bitter that daddy cut off the multimillionaire. He didn't seem to understand that when you quit your job, you don't continue to get paid. He complained about needing to use the millions his mother left him while millions of people lost their jobs and didn't know if they would be able to have a place to sleep or food to eat.
The Queen could have humbled them publicly, but showed kindness by just saying that "recollections may vary" and wanted to keep it in the family. He said terrible lies while both his grandparents were dying because of his bitterness. He then tried to ingratiate themselves to the Queen with their daughter instead of apologizing. He still wanted his family to treat him like Royalty when he returned to Britain for visits and got put out when they were not treated like senior Royals anymore. He has brought this on himself. Meghan is Meghan, but it is Harry's fault. He could have stopped the lying long ago, but the outcome is his fault. He is an adult. He participated and continues to do so.
Meanwhile, some people close to Charles, who is now King, have said he has been heartbroken over how much Harry has changed and treated the family. They put up with all Harry's scandals over the years and helped him rehabilitate his image. They knew he was a drug user and was a drunk and strongly encouraged him to get therapy. According to some of the people who he did boot camp with, he was not happy that he was told to go into the military to help with his image and to learn discipline.
I do not feel sorry for him anymore. He had a traumatic youth, but has never fully matured. He has had everything available to him to become a whole respectable person, but instead allowed his worst self to become his character.
He made his own choices and could have apologized, but instead he has run after money. Money is a tool and not evil, but if we don't care what we do or who we hurt, then it is a problem. Imagine a Royal Prince becoming a professional victim by lying about his family!

I thought that was incredibly petty and out of touch. Anyway, the losers in all this are his children. Not only are they estranged from her family but also his. I can't wait to hear what these kids will say 20 years from now. And if the kids are excluded, Meghan and Harry can't bring up racism either. I agree with everything you said. Remember in the Oprah interview where she said she had no help learning the rules of the Royal Family. The Queen selected a highly prized employee to help Meghan "hit the ground running". Meghan admitted as much herself around the time of her engagement to Harry. Meghan claimed to know nothing of the Royal Family. She's a college graduate who majored in International Studies. Did they not mention the British Commonwealth and the Royal Family?. She graduated from a top school in the US. While we don't know her grades, I highly doubt that she didn't learn of the Royal Family. Also, we're to believe she never looked at US Weekly, People, or practically any magazine which talks about celebrity gossip. That's plain silly because even if you didn't read the magazine article, you'd see the cover in a grocery store or the library. Meghan makes these silly comments that make no sense and then tells tall tales which are easily disproved. As you said she is a narcissist, so she doesn't listen to anyone regarding her interviews. She has major publicity agents, Sunshine Sachs, so I'm sure they'd help her if she'd listen.

I didn't know who she was until the engagement. Then was even more excited because she is a "humanitarian". My parents and I have worked in the same field. Finally, someone who has the power to make changes because they have a better platform. How wrong was I?!
Anyways, I stayed up to f watch the wedding because I was so happy but became sad after seeing her face during an interview after she gave birth. She didn't look well and seemed unhappy. Then I was even more disappointed with all the pettiness after the Oprah interview. Harry obviously still has traumas that he needs to deal with but a family's dirty laundry should never air out in the public especially if you're a public figure such as them. They clearly knew what the impact would be but what were they hoping to achieve? Definitely not sympathy from me but saw it as two adults who couldn't deal with the issues properly. The whole interview was mind boggling. Were the problems that complicated that it cannot be dealt with privately? Perhaps what happened was true but for me it was just out of the line to speak up when they clearly know the other royals can't defend themselves. If I can't hear from both sides then it's all hearsay to me. It's a he said she said bs.
Anyway, one thing for sure, Harry doesn't look as happy as he once was before marriage. His facial expression changed. I'm not saying it's Meghan's fault but perhaps he should've dealt with his problems first before getting another involved. If he was living such a horrible life, it sure didn't seem like it. He was partying and enjoying the benefits of being part of an elite. When they complained about money and having trouble finding a home I just see it as two privileged individuals who are clearly out of touch. Not saying the rich can't complain but come on, their problems are nothing compared to the average person's everyday struggles. I sure hope the queen didn't die from all the stress this rift has brought to the family. Imagine being that age then his grandson and wife's comments are clearly a threat to the royal family. I'm sure a lot of people who dislike the family are thinking, "hmmm, they got rich by exploiting other nations and they're racist too! I'm not surprised!"
