Thanks for this, I remember trying to work this out once to play at a once off gig with work colleagues - (we were amateur players) The reference version I used was the Midnight Oil version. There were so many many beautiful little flourishes in it, I was disappointed that I couldn't really crack the code on how they played it. But I think it turned out to be okay enough in the end.
Thumbing another one in softly for you, bro. Great job.
Much appreciated, Matt
Brilliant thanks!
No worries, MB!
It’s a cool iconic riff… Ya gotta have a go at it… Feel the Real Thing…
Thanks, Salty.
Great choice of song and well liked. Easy to follow explanation with clear notation. Loved it. Didn't realise that Molly produced it.
Cheers Richard - yes, and written by Johnny Young!

Oh cool! I didn't know the Oils had covered it - great version!
I've been working this one out by ear, and you've just rounded things off nicely. Onya mate.
No problem! Glad to help.
Actually i had heard that on the recording it was the Band Lotus that played? We know Johhny Young wrote it and Molly Meldrum recorded it.
Wow, I hadn't heard that. I'll have to do some digging!
