Thanks to David Lynch & Twin Peakes for introducing me to this band, absolutely great, Move In Spectrums has become a favourite album of mine now. Hope these lovely girls will reconvene in the future and grace us with another album or two ...
So amazing they write this stuff with an Auturia minibrute and a micro-korg. Thats about $500 worth of equipment. Still keeping a DIY attitude after all these years. Great to see them on twin peaks.
When you have talent you don't need fireworks in your performances, just your voice and instruments.
"Just Like a Tree" is one of the best songs I've ever heard.
Au Revoir Simone is the "comfortyiest" band ever. and the more energetic altogether.

Is it me or does the keyboardist/vocalist resemble Laura Dern slightly?
While Twin Peaks and Lynch are both amazing, it would be nice if they would be found in some other way :)
I was fortunate enough to see them on a TV Show, "Dinner With The Band" in 2010 . The played "All Or Nothing " and "Anywhere You Looked" Loved their music ever since.

I actually really love the way Just Like a Tree is sounding here with the vocals, sounds much better than the studio/album version in my opinion, maybe because its more emphasis on the vocals on "away." Also how Gravitron sounds more organic than the same as I last stated. I will be excited to see them when they come near by again! :)

"Fade Into You" sounds a lot like a remix of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", though.
Yeah, it does, doesn't it? That's the first song I thought of when they started performing it. I'm surprised Bob Dylan didn't try suing for copyright infringement when the song was first released in 1994.
