I don't agree with many points that you mentioned here. Commenting here so that the viewers get a broader perspective while deciding their lives. I'm an architect, graduated from IIT Roorkee. There are so many barriers that you can't ignore while taking such drastic decisions. You mentioned that you are earning double than your school friends, but that is because of you and your hardwork. You could have done good after Civil engineering or animation as well. So, money is not the parameter to judge. Being in architecture, experience matters a lot. In 3 years, an architect's income also grows exponentially. I respect you a lot and salute your hardwork. But same doesn't apply to all. So, best way to choose a career is to ask people at different experience level (for example, a college student, first year guy, a practicing architect, someone doing job in architecture) which is learning from others' experience instead of jumping yourselves in.
i am from bangladesh and i am in class 12 . i was in Confusion How To Choose a Career After 12th . After wathching this video I have decided, I will choose Architect . But I do not know what is the future of architecture courses in Bangladesh? What should I do after 5 years architecture course in Bangladesh? What will my future be? Even I don't know if I'm creative or not . Though it's a creative profession . People say if you are not creative, you will not do well in this profession . Is it true ?
