Honestly with all this exciting content upcoming, I wish Paizo will turn their focus on fixing and modernizing their website and stocks...it's been a pain to navigate downloading my old books and also to find a 2e beginner box
Good news! They're currently in the process of revamping the whole website! I believe they began a few months ago, so it may not be any time soon. I'm not a web developer, but i imagine it'll take a while

And started doing more stuff with Pathfinder in general. Like selling cool merch, Displates, dice, etc. They barely do any marketing for their awesome content.
It's hard to find a beginner box thanks to the remaster. They rarely have a reason to do another printing run of supplements that are outdated. That being said, the PDf is still available for Foundry, etc. There's also a new intro supplement, Rusthenge that might be better for you.

yeah me too, cant wait for them, also the oracle rework, so I can finally port over my samsaran medium as a samsaran ancestor oracle, who gets controlled by their former lives
left out sorcereor. didnt see the stream so dont know if you forgot to add details, big details want to not spoil or pretty much same sorcerer from core rulebook.
Sorcerer's getting only a few changes. They're going to be changing the Draconic and Elemental bloodlines (because of the remaster's changes to dragons, and Rage of Elements' changes to elements), and you can get new Blood Magic passives as you level up. That's pretty much all the changes to my knowledge.
Investigation also gets that pointed question gets a in combat use. Idk what use though

Paizo cooking more in the next year than WOTC had in the past 3 years
On a real note: As an ex 5e DM I was so sick of having to balance their game for them and constantly approve homebrew because there was very limited player options mechanically. But Paizo straight up drops like 2 new fully fleshed out classes, multiple adventures, new options for older classes, evert year without fail. And usually releases are somewhat balanced unlike in 5e (I am looking at you twilight clerics) I'm happy to keep supporting Paizo if they keep up the ethical business model and amazing content
SAME! Had always wanted to get my feet wet and the OGL thing got everyone in my party on board to just fucking bail. Didn't help the game was pretty much either solved at levels beyond 15 (Divine soul Sorcerer goes BRRRRRR) or I had to REBUILD THE BEASTIARY (Grappling in 5e is worthless until you hit +17 athletics. Guess what monsters don't have!). I wanna shake Jcraw. I want to think he was working from a place of bringing newer and younger blood into the fandom, but my players are willing to spend... 5 minutes to build an effective warband and this game isn't ready to threaten them. I want to challenge them... what I had to do to do that WAS DAMN NEAR BUILD MURDER SQUADS.... and I only did that as I realized anything less was not worth the spell slots. Also... even my Sorcerer was disappointed in the Kraken. That was only a threat cause I FORCED the fight underwater. And don't get me started on- *and this continued until the heat death of the universe, for as much as he did enjoy that campaign, he realized he could never do it again.*
This honestly baffles me. Hasbro has been absolute garbage for releasing anything even remotely useful for ages, and Paizo CONSTANTLY keeps cranking out gold, but no one seems to know and so many D&D DMs and players are sitting there, griping about problems that LITERALLY DON'T EXIST in Pathfinder. Seriously, if you love D&D but have never tried Pathfinder, do it. It isn't just the game, it is the community and the company itself. I actually trust that Paizo wants to make a good game that is fun because the people who run the company ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME AND ACTIVELY WANT IT TO BE GOOD.
@alexisglaab2572 a part of this is if you look up pathfinder 2e most of the top results are 5e tubers dunking on it with straight up stupid ideas and bad rulings when they were playing.
I whole heartedly agree, DMing 5e was agonising and there was no support for the DM. You had to do half the work and scrap most of the book content and replace it with your own just to make it coherent.
PF2e fixes every I have had problems with 5e for years now, to the point that I don't even want to be a player in a 5e game anymore because all I see when I play is all the problems with it that I know can and have been fixed by other systems. I can go on all day about how good this is and I can usually get people's eyes to life up by just mentioning the 3 actions and degrees of success.

It is so wild that Paizo can do so much in couple of months, while WotC cant even fix the basic problems with DnD5e, or improve it in any meaningful way. Great job Paizo, as always

I love how much D&D 4e inspired stuff is getting stealthily incorporated(Samsaran/4e PHB2 Deva race and Avenger Rogue Archetype/Avenger 4e PHB2 class) or in a more high-profile manner like the Battlecry Not-Warlord and Not-Fighter(4e) classes.
I first got introduced to ttrpgs with 4e so I don't harbor as much disdain for it as everyone else lol
So I'm loving all these little reskins of 4e but better in PF2r

Wayang comes from our culture (Indonesia). And while idk where paizo is going to go with the ancestry wayang is much more *puppet* than shadow. The shadow comes from how the 2 dimentional puppet (atleast i assume theyre referencing the 2 dimentional one) is played over a lightsource to cast shadows for the audience.
Of course shadow puppets will obviously have shadow abilities and needless to say...

My main question is: does any of the Mythic Paths can grant you infinite cheese?
Oooo, I wonder how the alchemist got reworked. I was just designing a Alchemist character for a game I'mma be a player in.
Well, I think the biggest change is that they will now get free items they can craft each day called "versatile vials", which are replenishable outside of combat. These vials differ from class to class, for example, Toxicologist's versatile vials are poisons, while Chirugeon's are items that heal.
like eamk said, it's a focus point mechanic so they won't need to deal with Quick Alchemy anymore.
@@eamk887 Ooooo! That sounds fantastic, so does it work similar to focus points by spending 10 minutes out of combat to make it up to max charges (1)?
@@Madalovin I'm not a 100% certain how it works, I watched the stream where they talked about it, and there they just said "refreshes outside of combat", so I'm not sure specifically how it works. The other commenter here did say it was a Focus point mechanic, so maybe that's it.

Not to be "that guy", but Duskwalkers are so the opposite of Undead it's pretty wild xD In fact, part of being a Duskwalker is that you cannot EVER become undead, because you are so closely tied to the Psychopomps and Pharasma's realm in the Boneyard that your very existence is antithetical to Undeath.
Needless to say, most Duskwalkers and Dhampirs are probably pretty uncomfortable around each other xP

3:36 you will have a Mythic proficiency tho, but I think it's something that you can achieve by consuming resource instead of just going beyond Legendary
I heard about that. I really hope it just makes characters stronger. If I am fighting a Demon Lord, i want his stats to represent his power, not just powerful actions.

All I heard was that the NPC section of the Game Master's book got moved to its own book. I don't know how I feel about that.
The NPC Codex from 1e is one of my favorites, so im a bit excited
If each NPC gets as much love as the monsters in Monster Core, then I'm happy. Imagine a fisherman with special fisherman actions, or a baker that can throw cookies at you.
@@KingOogaTonTon that would be pretty cool. It is one of those things where I feel mixed because you need them as a GM, but if you get a really good book full of them and they are different levels for different ideas then it can be really good.
You joke about bakers throwing cookies, but I did once play a 5e warlock whose main attack was hurling small bits of magically infused stale bread at people. It was really fun.

Soooo no news on Sorcerers?
Not much besides confirmation of bloodlines based on the new dragons if I recall correctly.
The Dragon bloodline and the Elemental bloodline are changing, and you can get new Bloodline Magic abilities via level up. That's all the changes unfortunately.
If you want more specific details, the only thing confirmed is that Elemental bloodline will have 6 elements going forward, and that's about it. We can guess more, like the new two elements are surely to be earth and metal, and I'm willing to bet they are going to give each element a more unique damage type (like slashing for air, or piercing for metal), or at least that's what I hope. We don't know anything really about the Dragon bloodline changes, but most likely they'll be adding the new dragons in the options. I'm not quite certain what they'll do with the old ones though, maybe they'll just remove them? Who knows.

I sense they will try to remake Wraith of the righteous for pf2e with them mythic powers being added

That's what the Godsrain is for.
I would LOVE that, but I think it's unlikely. Apparently remaking PF1e adventures into PF2e is just as much work as original PF2e adventures, so it's not a great return-on-investment.

not quite mythic 'levels'. they said it will work more like a buffed up free archetype (its own category dw), with more 'general' paths from levels 1-10 and more specific ones from 11-20.
Hell, they weren't even levels in the first game either.

I mean, the Focus spells now don't do anything with the curses, so those count.
