Great job! Love the look of the scale rotors, but not the additional offset. I'm not big on adding a lot of weight to my rigs, but the quality of the Samix parts is excellent. Wish they would offer the parts in aluminum.
Pretty cool set up. I do like seeing others set up their rigs, million ways to skin a cat. On my Trx4's I have outer brass portal covers and that's it. Both perform outstanding. I haven't done anything to my 21 Bronco yet, and not sure if I'm going to. I think you need to start a new series like Harley Design. He has the Trx4000 and you can build the Scx10 3000!!!🤘🤘🤘 Samix does make some great stuff.
Yup just put HR racing ultimate brass weight on my trx 4 tactical. And brass covers on the back portal covers. And a sound module too. The servo is next. Double click on the like button.
I've started to add some weights to my scx24, but I've not added anything to my TRX4 Sport at all. I was staggered at how much heavier the TRX is, compared to my friends Gmade Buffalo!! He definitely needs some of this!! 😎👍🏻
That is one sweet rig. As far as weight distibution goes, I add a ton of low metal to keep my trucks planted but I always add a large battery and a little extra weight to the chassis to get that realistic body roll. And an aluminum rim is the most rotating mass I'll add.
Sweet! I didn't notice if you maintenanced your bearings while you had them out. I've been thinking that's something I should try on my Yeti when I tear the tranny down to see if some gear noise can be cleared up
I picked up the rear shock mounts any really happy with them, I wanted the front first to replace the link brace that is a weak point but my local shop didn't have in stock. Will be getting it soon for sure though. Nice looking rig you got there
Cool up grades, love your channel, you get straight to the build, great vid quality and editing....just cool and helpful vids all the time... I agree shock pliers are a must makes shock work easy....👍👍
Correct. The Axials 10.3 rubicon's I see bit on the light side, it needs weighting on the wheels and perhaps axles to keep the truck from tipping over almost easily
the samix titanium links are actually a lot lighter/skinner than the stock links. you should swap them all plus the dimensions match up a bit better i believe. you can also get a small length on the axle thread to allow end caps
Very cool! Those parts look great! That is a lot of weight though! Thanks for mentioning upgrading the servo, a lot of these video's skip that detail though. I would recommend some thing "high voltage" like a Reef's 777 like I have in mine, but there are tons out there now for 60-100 bucks. I'm sorry I missed you at Axialfest! Have a great day
Wondering the best option for first entry level full size crawler. Just got an Axial SCX24 (1967 Chevy C10) and love it. Looking at Axial Wraith 1.9, Axial Deadbolt or Redcat Scout V2. Advantage of Wraith for me is it would work with my DX5C transmitter since it’s Spektrum.
After installing the pair of portal weights on the rear I found that the portal stub axles (stock) are not long enough for clearance of the hex nut to line up the screw-in set pin. How did you overcome this on yours? I have the SCX10 iii JLU
Sweet rig, but those are some seriously pricey upgades. As a 1st time RCer, what is the benefit of the Portal axle vs the straight axle, like on my 1/10 Losi Baja Rey? I still have the throttle controller set at 25% and its still way too fast to really let it loose or it likes to roll in turns and adjustments to the shocks' spring tension doesn't seem to affect this propensity. I've limited the steering as well to around 25% and still too responsive. smh
I overweight my trx4 bronco and it’s really cool to drive it for the extra weight that it has but the down side it’s that the motor burn 🔥way faster it gets really hot 🥵 ho well it’s part of the game right, buying it drive it broke it and fixed again lol
Hi Hayley ! I don't like to scale really, I prefer to bash but if you have time, take a look on the last car I bought ! This is an 1/8 Scale Wrangler Rubicon --> Yikong YK4082 - Absima Yucatan.
These are just the plastic beadlocks that came in the kit, so I don't know if they are 100% sealed. But usually if i run in water, I prefer them sealed. Though if you run them sealed and change elevation (like I did going to axialfest), my tires ballooned! So I had to equalize the air before running my rigs
U better order the aluminum front axle! All the added weight on a plastic axle isn't good. I comp'd my capra with less weight & went thru plastic axles fast. (Mainly from the outer acle snapping.) Until i bit the bullet & bought the kyx front axle. They're indestructible! 👍
Samix brass 8mm wheel hexs helped my scx10-ii's center of gravity greatly!
I love it when people go METAL🤘.
Just fitted Samix brass portals and fake rotors to my 2021 bronco trx-4, really nice quality parts, like how they are one piece though the axial👌🏻
Good parts, Better Job, the Best video for instruction!!!
I recently got into Samix RC on my last crawler build, good stuff, just picked up a rear axle weight set for the Element Enduro that works great.
Yeah looks beautiful artsy girl, love the brake disc rotors looks awesome appreciate you sharing I’ll be watching for more videos
Great video and thank you for showing both metric/imperial weights. I like the look of the Samix stuff and good to know it is a good fit too.

Looks like some good quality parts with a nice fit.
Really cool upgrade, my trx-4 defender is 6,5 Kg i also have lots of addons. Great video 👍👏😎🎥

Thank you, now I don't have to cut my threaded axle ends off to make my Warn hubs work.

Nice work 👍 amazing 😎 rig and heavy weight now
좋은 업그레이드 영상이다. 매우 디테일이 좋은 업그레이드 메탈 부품인거 같아요. 멋집니다. 👍
Awesome RC Girl and watching now and enjoying your video too sweet 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎🚗👌❤️
Nice rig and video, I've installed most of the samix parts that are available for the trx4 on my defender, they are very good quality parts
Thanks,for sharing🙏
Sweet! I didn't notice if you maintenanced your bearings while you had them out. I've been thinking that's something I should try on my Yeti when I tear the tranny down to see if some gear noise can be cleared up
What do you like more, your trx4 defender or your scx10iii
Looks really good👍
Awesome video
Yeah shock pliers best tool in my Arsenal
Oh yeah! That's the stuff lol, your Rig is looking good i love the paint!
What a sweet lookin' rig! Nicely done!
I picked up the rear shock mounts any really happy with them, I wanted the front first to replace the link brace that is a weak point but my local shop didn't have in stock. Will be getting it soon for sure though. Nice looking rig you got there
Glad to see your doing better babe, I know it was hard but glad your getting back in the hobby since our break up.

Goodmorning. Thank you this is great
Good morning!
Your front lower links are backwards. The shorter part of the bend goes at the axle like you did on the rear
Good catch!! Easy fix.
Excellent nice bit of weight added👌 Better get my wallet out for my Scx10 III Also 😂👍👍👍
Love Samix upgrades
Another cool upgrads my friend , I realy like the look , the result is top !
well done 😃😉👍
Very nice👍🏽
I decided to go full samix with my base camp bc of their high clearance kinks and to keep it all compatible
RC Girl good review. You looked stressed. Hope all is ok. May the Force be with you!
I got a trx4 with some weight stuff added, and a complete abs body with interior.
With all accessories on body, I easy reach 7.5kg.
✌🏻😎🏴Even if it couldn’t crawl over anything anymore it’s still an awesome looking trail truck 👍🏻
Great video!!!

Yeah i wouldn't suggest going all out like i did! i think a few metal upgrades here and there would be the sweet spot.
👍👍bel video!!
have to put some of those parts on my trx4, really cool video
So cool thank you for doing this video!! I've been thinking about upgrading my 10.3 with Samix And you helped!
Great upgrades, looks great!
Beautiful rc gerl)
Great video, any ideas of where to look for parts on the gladiator upgrades
Great to see all theses options. Have you considered the 1/6 version in your future?
Nice rig, thank you for the info. I don't need all but the portal swap and links would be great upgrades for my rig.
Great video

Has adding weight helped your performance 🤓
That 5 grams can help when youre fine tuning front to rear weight bakance. I ain feel rva 65/35 myself
Super cool RC girl
After installing the pair of portal weights on the rear I found that the portal stub axles (stock) are not long enough for clearance of the hex nut to line up the screw-in set pin. How did you overcome this on yours? I have the SCX10 iii JLU
How did you reuse the end links for your high clearance links? The stock ones have left hand threads on one end, and the samix ones do not.
Scx10 3000lbs !
cool vid! thanks for sharing it! big like!
Nice videos! are they the best quality available ?
Pretty nice…good job!

I spent slightly more than a few hundred bucks on Samix's website for my TRX-4 last year. 🤣
oh boy!! haha
can u help me with overdrive settings and what to buy to setup overdrive for scx10 iii JLU wrangler RTR
Nice ride!
Everyone liked that
Why need tread lock on the rear portal covers as the screws are going in to plastic. Thread lock can eat plastic.
The screws are threading into plastic. Why did you add loctite?
What is this "Bloody Lotion RC..." and where do I get it?
Goodmorning rc girl!!!👋🏼😄
Morning!
Heavy Metal!
What servo winch mount you running ?
good day i have a question. are you using treal aluminium axle?
Una pasada de coche t contra pesos bien explicado un saludo me encantas tus videos
On my wraith I can have the hex bit on the inside of tire so I can’t use them on the wraith so what should I do
You're funny RC girl. Thank you
Hi Hayley ! I don't like to scale really, I prefer to bash but if you have time, take a look on the last car I bought ! This is an 1/8 Scale Wrangler Rubicon --> Yikong YK4082 - Absima Yucatan.
If you don't mind me asking, how much would all the upgrades cost in the store or on their website?
They can add up for sure. I'd recommend picking out 1 or two and not go all out like i did! bit.ly/3CWCwU5
Do you vent the tires or rims?
These are just the plastic beadlocks that came in the kit, so I don't know if they are 100% sealed. But usually if i run in water, I prefer them sealed. @@RCGirl Ahh thanks just wondering thanks for the info and I think you are killing the game! Good Job!
Dou you have project whit your 1.9 Axial Wraith

Rear never breaks!
Good to know!
Is the bloody lotion grease any good? Delivery from the Netherlands to the UK is twice as much as the product itself
I do really like it but I can see how int'l shipping might make it cost prohibitive.
What headlights are those?
Where can I buy the tuning parts in Germany, who is the dealer for Europe?Thank you rc girl, great video!!
I think SAMIX direct ships from China? So that's probably your best bet. www.rcsamix.com/index.php/forrccar/axial/scx10-3.html
@@RCGirl thx👍
🔥💪🏾💯
What's the total price tag on all that?
😁😁👍👍
And can you take the roof off the jeep or no
it's lexan so the top doesn't come off on this one (unless i cut into it, but that sounds like a lot of work!) lol
Makes me crave a samich 😭
🥪🥪
so sad the only thing they have for the Scx6 it’s the diff cover
Why would you thread lock the rear portal covers in? The screw is threading into plastic.
You dont mind getting your hands dirty. Rc girl
👏👏👍😍
Threadlock isn't necessary when the screws are threading into plastic like on the rear axle
are your axles metal ? threadlock + plastic is a definite recipie for disaster ...
It's the medium-strength threadlock, haven't had an issue before but i'll keep an eye on it.
@@RCGirl it's not a matter of strength, it's a matter of compatibility, most threadlock compounds makes plastics brittle ...
joe dirt
to much money
Good way to ruin a marginally good RC.
