Actually Alexal, song co-written by BC Jean and Toby Gad. Originally sung by BC Jean, Beyonce did a cover of the song. Toby is on piano, he is a multi Grammy winning songwriter/musician/producer who invited Angelina to do a re-imagined version of this song for his Piano Diaries album of all his many hit songs. Angelina's rendition is the best of the best of any covers of this song, sung the way it was meant to be. They are writing new music together and more from them coming soon. A cover only in the sense that what Beyoncé made was a cover of the song written by BC Jean and Toby Gad, originally performed by Jean in 2008. Beyoncé's cover was that same year.
In this video the pianist is Toby Gad .. the Piano Diaries are a celebration of his hit songs. He invited Angelina to England with him to perform .. this is the fourth version I have heard. I am not sure if it is really a cover when a singer is standing next to the composer as they jam to create a different version of the song?

She turned 18 Jan 10 this year. To me, no comparison. The highs and lows, her vocal frye, rasp, pure talent plus emotion. The arrangement with the strings and the piano. Over 50 listens and I still tear up every time. Good to see you back. You should check out her Vegas performances. She debuted an original, Princess of Ruins, a musical journet thru the story of when she met the little barefoot girn in the middle east.

This cover is glorious, it lets her voice absolutely shine. Thanks to Toby for asking AJ to sing this reinvented cover of his song for his Piano Diaries album. Toby is quoted saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” They are also working on other songs for AJ. This will be huge for her. Nice reaction! On the piano is the co-writer of the song, Toby Gad. Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. She had just broken up with the man that she loved. Per Toby, he played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Angelina and Toby have been working together for a while now and are creating new music for her to sing. They teased a song at a special event called Bad Valentine and it should be coming out within a few months. This collaboration is awesome! The Piano Diaries is Toby's project of other singers singing his most famous songs. Angelina of course is singing this song made famous by Beyonce.

Hi Alexal, Toby Gad is the guy who wrote the song Beyonce' covered it long ago. When Toby was working on his piano Diaries project he asked Angelina to reinvent the song for the series cuz Beyonce' sang the crap out of it and folks were burnt out on it. He liked Angelina's version so much he signed over the copy rights to Angelina for her version. She has released it as her song. She's a genius !

This is not by Beyonce', This is a song written by Toby Gad and B.C. Jean Beyonce covered it. The writers asked Angelina to perfom it for the Poano Diaries, Shes and Toby are gonna release it at the end of the month with other songs. Anglina's version is much better than Beyonce'.
