24:30 Schlegs always comes back and finishes with a strong point. He might get a little wild and stray off topic slightly, but if you hang on, pearls of wisdom will be had.
Yep. This is my new favorite show. I grew up watching you guys play when I was in JR High & H/S... In fact, I still have a reversible Buckeye Jacket with AJ's Number on it that I still wear. Great Stuff guys! Shout out from Fort Liberty, NC!
Questions: 1. Do you think the DBs will show up against Tennessee? IGB O/U 1.5 penalties? 2. What is contributing to all the O-line injuries? 3. What do you think of OSU schedule for 2025? 4. You guys played with gray shoulder stripes on home jerseys, do you think that should return permanently? (I do) 5. Not a lot of talk about special teams going into the playoff game, how do these teams compare?
@@TE_2013. josh was contact inj. Seth’s was crazy as we do a tone of work for the Achilles Gray should be back on shoulders but my fav uni is the classic road. Both squads have had spt issues. I can’t believe how underwhelming ours have been. Should be an advantage. Yes we had a return n some put blocks on bad snaps but the punting and field goals r unacceptable.
Buckeye Nation what was the first Ohio State Football game you remember as a kid? Mine was the 1978 Gator Bowl unfortunately Coach Woody Hayes last game. Showing my age. Go Buckeyes lets beat Tennessee next week!
I think the Flag Bill is meant to prevent innocent bystanders from getting hurt. By the time the flag planting takes place, there aren’t just football players milling around the field.
Let's face it, top tier university sports are now minor national league football, baseball, etc. Yet, it is better than the NL because a player can transfer to a team he wants to be rather than through NL and the draft. Additional, I lived in Stradley Hall with OSU football players who didn't go to class and went to study halls where the players studied to the tests. So college football and maybe other college sports are just minor leagues. I still love and follow OSU. I taught at a regional college and the atmosphere was much different. Athletes attended classes and studied graduating with a degree and knowledge to use in the future. Do regional schools have NIL packages? I haven't got a request from Miami of Ohio to specifically support the teams. Enjoy the show and all your thoughts. Keeps me up-to-date. You, Anthony, AJ, and the other guests give me insight into the games today. At age 84, I have followed OSU for many years even thought I have moved across the nation. I am glad for the Internet.
Do you think that playing Tennessee, Oregon, Texas, and Georgia is honestly the best situation for Ryan Day ? If they would have gotten 1 of the easier paths and they beat an SMU and an Arizona St in route to a semi final match up I feel as if most of Buckeye Nation would give him little to no credit. Having the path least traveled may be his best course of action.
Football in the SEC geographic footprint is played at a very different level of intensity relative to north of the Mason-Dixon line. In this regard, every fanbase can be very fickle when their team falters.
In the words of Mike Tyson, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. The Vols have to have that mentality if they want to win in Columbus.
This problem is not that big of a problem to solve…. First off, NIL NEVER should’ve been implemented….and it should be taken away altogether. Or, if they MUST pay “student-athletes” to play with a ball, then put massive restrictions on it. As it is, a college degree is now a f--ing joke to people in the real world, looking for quality, reliable, competent employees with a good attitude. The sheer IDEA of paying a “student athlete” 6-7 figures to play football is a disgusting idea, neverMIND the actual practice of it, which breeds a MASSIVE level of resent, and expectations. And, a salary cap” won’t change that, unless, the salary cap says that no player should make (for example) more than $50k a year, with the lowest being $20K a year, and then the requirements of that should be entirely performance based. *But, the entire POINT of college is a right of passage, even for these pampered athletes.* With the portal, there should be specific, and rigid parameters that leaves NO doubt in the minds of the schools, and the athletes that an xfer is truly what they want (or better yet need). A transfer could, and should mean that the player sits out a year…..as just one very small example. There are many things that could be done from a commons sense point of view that could make both of these, now toxic, practices more tolerable. *And, that’s saying NOTHING of the socio-political culture these coaches are fighting from the second these thoroughly indoctrinated/brainwashed players, sign on to a school….which is a cesspool unto itelf. Saban finally got fed-up with it. You combine the xfer portal and NIL, with the potential of a coach completely sh*tting the bed with post-season records, and you have a mess SO huge, that fans are finally starting to check out of even supporting the team. Which is something I never thought I’d see in 45+yrs of watching Buckeye football.
Its great to see THE BIG 3 together again!

The louder you are the warmer you'll be!
Great conversation
Always an entertaining show! It will be loud at the Shoe!!!! Go Bucks!
Hire these dudes and Coach Meyer as motovational coaches!
I believe BC is there almost daily talking up the boys and Schleges helped Mick most of the spring
AJ Hawk needs to be on the sidelines just angrily staring at Tennessee coaches, they’d piss themselves
How old are you 12? Listen, we won't plant the Power T on the 50 out of sheer respect that Michigan won't be there to protect their house.
@ better be nice or AJ Hawk won’t bring you presents this year
Mike Ekeler will take that challenge without batting an eye.

AJ 💪🏈💪👍👍💯🔥
Great show as always.
New life for the Buckeyes with a new opponent.
Same ole coach. Coaches scared day do. Lacks toughness

These three guys made opposing running backs think one thing when they broke through the line of scrimmage. "What did I do that for?".

Can't tell if Bobby was upset the AF guys mooched his alcohol or not 😆
He was but I had to explain why. We had no money at the academy
Did you kid even travel with the team?
What kid and travel where?
Need to stop 1 year nil contracts for underclassmen.
