Hard for me not to remember Lebron was the youngest to each scoring milestone when he hit it. 3 finals mvps on 3 different organizations. (Much harder). Leading BOTH finals teams in points, assist, steals, blocks, AND rebounds coming back down from 3-1 (first and only). Scoring the most points and passing mj in points taking 1200 less shots 😅 and Lebron highlights just hit different Mj wasn’t shooting the logo shots and dunking like Lebron. Lebron having the higher basketball iq telling opponetS plays out lol. Being the oldest to do everything and play greater Than anyone in year 21. #4 in assist…. Bringing 2 of the worst 3 rosters to ever make the finals 2007 and 2018.
This is greatness! Very entertaining on both gentlemen’s part. KG always on “you gone eat yo cornbread?!” time. Stephen A. Opening up and dropping MFer on the 3-peat TWICE! I love it!
KG is so accurate. A lot of analyst and ppl are living in the past. I'm super exited about the future. Last season still looked grim from a standpoint of when LeBron left. This season? With Wemby? Chet? The future looks BRIGHT!!!
When Mike was doing his thing, he wasn't disrespecting other legends. That's what some of these kids are up to now. That's what has us old heads riled up. We would love to sit back and appreciate what we're seeing now. But as soon as we do, here come the new school fans or players, disrespecting the old school for no reason.
Its the people who don't know what they're talking about. Nothing about what we're saying about the 80's/90's, MJ, Dominique, Stockton, and etc..is disrespectful. We've said that the rules were tougher because, ON VIDEO, you can see people get clothes-lined, elbowed, bloodied, and etc...now, you barely touch someone and its a foul. Its not an opinion, its video proof but they think we are hating. They say that this Era was tougher, we don't say anything because we know better. They new gen can like this era, that's fine, but don't say its harder when video proof show that it isn't.
I swear I couldn’t stand KG but the fact he talk with LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THE GAME , KG SALUTE 🫡 STEVEN A NEEDED THIS I BET STEVEN A IS GONNA GET WAY BETTER NOW WATCH THIS “REMEMBER I TOLD YALLL””” YOOO KG SALUTE
That's what makes Jordan so special, is because the Bulls team wasn't stacked like the Boston Celtics with Bill Russell for all those years. So Jordan didn't start winning right away but once he started he couldn't be stopped. If Jordan didn't need to take that year off when his Dad passed, the Bulls had a great chance of winning 7 straight Championships. There's no way we could be comparing LeBron to that. Somehow though they're still trying to compare LeBron to this man that three peated twice. The man that everyone says doesn't look human and seems to levitate in their presence, Michael Jordan. And we're still so memorized by Jordan because with all the great talents there is in the NBA today, we still haven't seen a dude perform like Mike. Minus the Championships Jordan is the greatest mother f er, i ever seen dribble a basketball. The Championships just make him even greater, especially with the teammates he was able to pull it off with.
💯 Completely agree. And just because someone appreciates or has an opinion on things or people from the past, that doesn't mean that they don't appreciate or are disrespecting the present. One can have an opinion and still appreciate and respect both eras for their own greatness or whatever.
It’s not just what Michael Jordan did, it’s the way he did it and the way he played. He was way ahead of his time and his game was so beautiful to watch.
Jordan is the beneficiary of multiple things. 1. The time period. This was before social media. Everyone was just locked in to whatever was current. Much less distractions, much less things to take up peoples attention. This certainly added to the “myth” of Jordan. 2. Jordan’s relevance continues due to his sneaker branding causing his name to stay relevant. 3. He has time working in his favor. His last dance documentary was aired, and we have had a chance to hear the personal stories. In other words his legacy has had time to be built. Lebrons greatness won’t be appreciated until he retires and we have time to take in his accomplishments. And as the 35 and under generation takes over the media airways we will see much more consensus as Lebron being GOAT Edit: I do think Jordan had the best PEAK of all time
Being ahead of cats that were stuck in the mud makes you look even better. People need to go back and watch Mike now and see what they think rather than holding onto the past so much and glorifying MJs past. Nikas think he never missed a shot and walked on water.
@mikemarc92 Spoken just like someone who listens to other people and is too young to have witness The GOAT'S (Michael Air Jordan) greatness. Why has Jordan shoes dominated to this day over the queen? Why do so many young people still see Michael Jordan as the Goat, even the queen's fans? The objective ones do anyway. It's like Mandy said, The Goat was ahead of his time. I don't care how the queen tries to whine and cry and beg people to respect him. That's exactly why he doesn't get the respect he wants, because he is fake and desparate, he always will be. The Goat has done nothing but sit back and allow others to tout his greatness. Your boy is too thirsty! I don't care how many points he scores, he will never be the Goat.😂

Yo real shit. I’ve not always respected SAS. But to hear him be his real self across from one of my idols as a young hooper, Kevin Garnett. I truly enjoyed this and have a new found appreciation for both these cats. KG for being able to break this new generation down damn near perfect and effortlessly and SAS for showing his down to earth side and not talking like he’s on national television. Know what I’m saying? Peace ,love and blessings to all who read this. 💯
Just cause we never seen it doesn't make it the best. I agree with him when he says we can't talk to the kids like we were talked to. But I do think there needs to be a deeper analysis of whether or not what we have done to these kids in terms of making them sensitive is beneficial or not.
The way the league is today I don't admire it like I did in the past. However, KG has a point. When I was hating on Kobe in the 2000 playoffs and hoping for teams like Portland with Pip, Wallace, Sabonis and those guys or Sacramento with C-Webb, Vlade, Peja, Bibby or J-Will, I didn't appreciate Kobe's greatness in the latter part of his career. But I still consider MJ the GOAT because MJ transformed the league to new heights, on and off the court MJ was phenomenal and if MJ played in today's social media age his popularity would be triple the amount it was.
I saw it. But I still rather see Bill win 8 in a row. And the faces of all the people that wanted his life taken and didn't want to shake his hand and threats to his family. Personally watching him do all that and having to deal with all that. That's beyond any greatness I've ever personally watched.

Bringing 2 of the worst 3 rosters to ever make the finals 2007 and 2018.
@@moneymoney3235 dude said back to back 3-peats is easier than winning on 3 different teams. My goodness. Winning 6 is easier than 3 or 4... who knew?
@@moneymoney3235 stop it, Jordan won more in less time. FACT! He is GOAT
@@markozbunjol625 less time but more 2pt missed and taken than Lebron.
@@moneymoney3235"taking 1200 less shots"..all true but also not acknowledging the 3000 more 3-point attempts Lebron took.
KG got Stephen A cussin 😂😂
KG's lighting is next level😂
how could you not love KG, he's speaking facts about adjusting to todays way or how we approach the game
One of the best sports conversations I’ve ever seen
This is the Stephen A we love to hear glad you and KG did this interview
This is greatness! Very entertaining on both gentlemen’s part. KG always on “you gone eat yo cornbread?!” time.
Stephen A. Opening up and dropping MFer on the 3-peat TWICE!
I love it!
KG is so accurate. A lot of analyst and ppl are living in the past. I'm super exited about the future. Last season still looked grim from a standpoint of when LeBron left. This season? With Wemby? Chet? The future looks BRIGHT!!!
Tyrese Haliburton is special too. The greatness is here.
5:33 THANK YOU FOR BRINGING KG!!! We need a fully uncensored Stephen A Smith!!! 😎
KG's perspective is incredible. Perspective, btw, is one thing but consistency is another and bro had both 👏🏾👏🏾
KG went nuclear 😂
Until that Mother fucker Repeated twice came n KD backed off quick
This may be SAS best podcast show, great job
When Mike was doing his thing, he wasn't disrespecting other legends. That's what some of these kids are up to now.
That's what has us old heads riled up. We would love to sit back and appreciate what we're seeing now. But as soon as we
do, here come the new school fans or players, disrespecting the old school for no reason.
I swear I couldn’t stand KG but the fact he talk with LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THE GAME , KG SALUTE 🫡 STEVEN A NEEDED THIS I BET STEVEN A IS GONNA GET WAY BETTER NOW WATCH THIS “REMEMBER I TOLD YALLL”””
YOOO KG SALUTE
2:55
This part be getting me dead 😭 KG so serious about it and I love it
Lmao yo KG is so animated and passionate!
you gotta love when LBJ getting his flowers

Right though
I was mesmerized by Jordan.....was glued to his every move....then Lebron came along!!!! Holy Shit !!!!! Lebron is better...a lot better...

Holy Cap
This conversation probably adding much2 respect to KG... Nothing but love LEGEND... #RESPECT❤❤❤
How can someone be so smart, articulate, intense and hood at the same time... Love KG all time
It’s not just what Michael Jordan did, it’s the way he did it and the way he played.
And as the 35 and under generation takes over the media airways we will see much more consensus as Lebron being GOAT
Edit: I do think Jordan had the best PEAK of all time
Being ahead of cats that were stuck in the mud makes you look even better. People need to go back and watch Mike now and see what they think rather than holding onto the past so much and glorifying MJs past. Nikas think he never missed a shot and walked on water.
Thats the point you. Talking 💯 Facts
But his competition was less talented than some of 10th best players in today's game.
I love KG"s energy!!!
He's coked up
This might be the best way to argue the GOAT debate
And he's not even arguing goat status he's saying bron can get flowers w/o the need to bring up mike everytime.
Man that's real conversation we have OG Stephen A and living legend KG. he's right stop living in the past we need to embrace right now
KG has always been one of my favorite players.... Outspoken, honest,str8 up in ur face. Speaks very well with lots of common sense...his basketball resume is pretty damn good...
We are also witnessing 39000 points at 39 years old without a decline in minutes or points scoring
Insanity
You have to turn 39/40 and still being active to understand it doesn't make sense what Lebron is doing. Father time is undefeated for us except for him.
That’s not all the way true…
This was a good convo 🔥🔥
Damn KG broke my screen at 3:16 😂
This is one of the greatest sports conversations ever. This is how you’re supposed to communicate even when you’re coming from opposing perspectives.
Fucking love KG. His passion. His knowledge. He not lying. We witnessing greatness and need to appreciate it
KG is so spot on about this! 7:57 the damn old heads wont let the game progress. And one amazing act by a player shouldnt be the standard for all players after. It should be acknowledged as its own thing. So mj 6/6
Lebron 39k
Ect
Saying LBJ is second best isn't disrespectful and is not indicative of "not allowing the league to progress"
This show needs to happen!!! 😂
FOREAL KG! These ESPN Analysts Got People That Ain't Never Dribble a Basketball Talking Shit On The Internet Everyday About a Player That Rules The Regular Season and Playoff Record Books..Man LEBRON JAMES Is Unreal How Consistent and Great He's Been For 21yrs Straight 🤷🏿♂️
K.G got that passion that only a few can understand. Delivery might sound tough but you can’t help it
Just cause we never seen it doesn't make it the best.
Yeah... but he'd also be in so much shit for his off court activities.
I saw it. But I still rather see Bill win 8 in a row. And the faces of all the people that wanted his life taken and didn't want to shake his hand and threats to his family. Personally watching him do all that and having to deal with all that. That's beyond any greatness I've ever personally watched.
Great conversation by both Stephen A and KG.
KG is a treasure! Truly a real one
