This work is really amazing. It could only happen within few countries like India. In certain countries workmanship is too expenssive. In some places they go for just replacement. The old parts which is left at the work shop will find it's way to overhaul the way its shown here and sold in a second hand value. Really a skilled worker. If you have 10 worker's who can do this. Then the shock absorber manufacturing company has to close shop. Thanking the channel. ✌
company recommends that front shock absorbers (telescopic type) are reparable but rear shock absorbers are to be replaced when got leaked or inappropriate bumps. therefore company supplies original oil seal and fork oil for front shocker but company doesn't provide any part for the rear one so this repair is total jugaad.
The shock absorbers may be cleaner but they have no damping effect at all

professional-ஆ செய்வது மாதிரி தெரியல. proper tools பயன்படுத்தவில்லை. ஏதோ எடுத்தோம், கவிழ்த்தோம் மாதிரி இருக்கு. இப்படி செய்த அந்த shock absorber க்கு உத்தரவாதம் இல்லை.

Company make shock absorbers warenty for 50,000 kms or more kms then new shock absorber has to be changed for same effect & comforts, their is no effect in reconditioned shock absorbers , just waste of time , money & discomfort.

They don't cut 2 mm ....they just open crimp by screwdriver....and they assemble with dirty hands ....after opening they force to change piston rod ...so by this way they replace piston rod with old piston rod ...and easily grab 550 rupees in india ....it's better to replace with new insist of old shocker repair ...

I dislike this repair because the mechanic sand the piston rod which remove chrome and it will catch rust after sometime and destroy the seals again

You may achieve the same compression value by measuring the exact amount of absorber oil.. for example 10ml on the other shock and 10ml to another ... Thats how we measure the same compression value when repairing shock absorber

Waste of time and money :))putting used seals and used/dirty oil will not fix the shock.Still the labor needs to be payed ,adding up the costs there will be much cheaper to buy a new one.If those areas have internet access i guess they have shops too.
