As kid from 70s I never thought I will listen to a band called "Babymetal" and actually love it. This is awesome stuff.

Every time I watch one of Babymetal's videos, they blow me away. I've been a metal head since the 80's, and they rock as hard as any band I've ever seen. With performers like these, metal has an awesome future ahead.

This is a perfect representation of what BABYMETAL is . All the elements exist in this one performance. Great job with the editing
I agree, but I am also a bit sad, because I don't think BABYMETAL can top this, that means they have peaked.
In the early preformances of this they were in their teens, making this more impressive. Now when they all are young adults, they are all talented but also measured against another scale.

@@Arthur_Rodri Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but mine is they have peaked as a group, and concept. Now when they are young adults they have to live up to a different level that is much higher, to be in the same league as themselves as kids.

man, as a former touring lighting director, i’m always jealous of the cats running stadium shows and this does not disappoint... the number of people and volume of work involved in setting up, running and tearing down their seemingly limitless budget is massive... i’m impressed.

That's also the problem with them. It's all totally manufactured and planned. It's Japanese metal KPOP. Fun to listen to and watch but very much a creation of music industry executives to make money.
@@FreddySherman That's the thing though. 'Babymetal' isn't just them. Babymetal is them, the musicians and Koba (song-writer). If Babymetal is manufactured, then they are manufactured the same way a movie or Ferrari is, by hand and by skilled people who are passionate about their work. You can no doubt see the passion behind the songs, the whole aesthetic but also the main vocalist's singing, choreography, and crowdwork. You don't perform choreography and sing for an hour straight without working your ass off.
Sure they didn't start off in a garage with a $50 budget, but Babymetal started off small and slowly climbed in popularity after years of hard work and touring. That's only when they started receiving a larger backing from their company, AMUSE. I think you'd be very surprised how a large percentage of artists and bands are 'manfuctured', Jonas Brothers, Linkin Park, Blue Oyster Cult, Sex Pistols, etc
That's my opinion, anyways.

saw them a few years ago during Fortarock in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. together with Disturbed and Volbeat. they were great, just too bad it was quite short :(
Once upon a time I heard a couple of their songs, but only recently I fully discovered this band. Such an incredible life show, such beautiful songs that for the first time in my life I wanted to attend a live performance of any band. And this band is BABYMETAL!

@@AlizeeDefan Do it. Yui will always be an essential member of Babymetal even if she has moved on, but Riho has more than earned her place over these past few years. She has great chemistry with Sumetal and Moametal and I would love to see her more involved than the role she was given.
This song has serious Dragonforce vibes. Herman and Sam paired very well with Megitsunetachi.
I'm pretty sure Herman Li co-wrote this song with them.

Some parts simply sound like they're copypasted from different Dragonforce songs =) beginning sounds like a loop of the intro of Fallen World, and the part at 5:14 is literally just from the end part of Storming the Burning Fields.

Have no idea what the hell they're saying but somehow touches that emotional connection, their tone is phenomenal and obviously the speed is insane. These girls are insanely talented, every song I feel like I'm about to destroy the most important quest of my life. Honestly doesn't matter what mood I'm in these songs cheer me right up, can't believe I used to rip on them. Ignorance is bliss I guess haha glad I smartened up.
Since today I heard and see many Metalbands and on Festivals like Graspop Metal Meeting and Wacken.
Wow I have never seen such a Metalperformance in my Live.
That positiv and bright shining in the Eyes of the Band shows so much all the Passion for the Music that I can feel it in my Heart.

5:13 might be one of the coolest moments.... The Queen approaching a sea of her subjects. Her power, command, presence, charisma... All of it just flawless.

I don't know why but Japanese rock, pop and metal is some how able to bring out the positive energy. Especially baby metal. They kinda remind me of bring me the horizon in a way. I've always been a huge metal head since I was 8 years old back in the 80's with Slayer,Metallica, Seplitura and I was always a big misfits fan till death so this is definitely a big change but I like it.
Dudes... from the moment she called on the wall of death... to the very end... that was epic.

Я когда впервые его услышал, я подумал: что за наркомания!? Меня аж так накрыло. А потом я влюбился в эту группу.
Тоже слушаю и смотрю пару лет как. Крутые тётки. Жаль, уже не те, что раньше. То, что они делали на сцене, требовало дохренища энергии и здоровья. В 14-16 лет прокачивать стадионы и 20-тысячные площадки так, "что-бы никто не ушел обиженным" - это запредельно.

The Gods of Metal are as good as rock musicians get. Babymetal has surprised me. So much sound with the petite front ladies. Great combo. Like oreos and milk. Watch their vids since 2016, still fascinated. I'm droppin $1,000 to see Within Temptation, I'd spend that for a Babymetal concert.

The crowd says it all. The musicians are tight as hell and the young ladies are really giving 110% to tell the story as well as entertain, and it is definitely entertaining. Rock on!

However, as I really listened to Babymetal's music, I found that my heart, which should have been dead, was quickly coming back to life.
