I was given 10 marks of specific bonus in paper 4 MAY 2022 attempt for group 1. But I feel this was given because I could cross aggregate even if paper 4 was 30. So I had cleared in that attempt. 🙂

My View: Grace marks depends after seeing the whole result and passing percentage target for that attempt. Example. If passing percentage achieved without grace, then no grace marks to any one. Actual passing percentage depends on the difficulty of the exam conducted.
Sir I cleared my ca foundation exam because of your motivation. You personally replied that I should not lose hope and give my rest of the paper as I was expecting that I will get 36-38 marks in law paper but when the results came out I passed exactly with 40. Its true Same thing happened with me There was no chance to get 40 marks in scmpe in may 2022 cz paper went so bad But i got 40 Reason being i have exemption on 6d with 76 marks DT 54 IDT 66 marks So thay gave me grace of 5 marks That's what i belive Otherwise no chance to get clear Thank you ICAI
Even I got grace marks in my Inter group attempt. I got 40 marks in both Eissm and Audit. I didn't knew back then, about what grace marking is, but I think that is what would have happened back then.

Don't take too much stress. This happens with all of us. One failure will not harm you. Instead it will make you strong. This message will look stupid but 5 years down the line you will remember this piece of advice. Kudos to you for never failing and kudos to you bcz you will learn much better from this failure.

I'm appeared for both group and i am hoping to cross 400 marks but issue is that I don't think i will get 40 in scmpe and 200 in group 2 will i get grace marks if both group total exceeds 400 and 35+ in scmpe. Also there is exemption in earlier attempt in one subject whether I am eligible to setoff......
The fact that you are expecting less than 200 marks in Group 2 is immaterial because you have given both the groups. So in your case 400 marks along with 35 in scmpe will be the consideration so as to decide whether or not you are eligible. Conclusion is if your total exceeds 400 and you get 35 in SCMPE, Institute should give you 5 marks specific bonus.

General gracing is also done that will make your total above 200 and in that case you can still pass even if your score is 36 in maths because Institute itself says that if a student lacks in one subject where his score is 35 or above, we pass them provided he meets the aggregate criteria.

Yes I do have seen 40-40 in two subjects many times. What you can do is, search on LinkedIn using #caresults, you may find many such marksheets.

Don't take too much stress. This happens with all of us. One failure will not harm you. Instead it will make you strong. This message will look stupid but 5 years down the line you will remember this piece of advice. Kudos to you for never failing and kudos to you bcz you will learn much better from this failure.

I'm appeared for both group and i am hoping to cross 400 marks but issue is that I don't think i will get 40 in scmpe and 200 in group 2 will i get grace marks if both group total exceeds 400 and 35+ in scmpe. Also there is exemption in earlier attempt in one subject whether I am eligible to setoff......
The fact that you are expecting less than 200 marks in Group 2 is immaterial because you have given both the groups. So in your case 400 marks along with 35 in scmpe will be the consideration so as to decide whether or not you are eligible. Conclusion is if your total exceeds 400 and you get 35 in SCMPE, Institute should give you 5 marks specific bonus.

If tax paper was tough, you can expect 2-4 marks of gracing in it. This will make your total to 35+ and in that case Institute should pass you.
@Sanjai Amsaraj general grace is given to all. After adding that if u lack in one paper they give specific bonus too.

General gracing is also done that will make your total above 200 and in that case you can still pass even if your score is 36 in maths because Institute itself says that if a student lacks in one subject where his score is 35 or above, we pass them provided he meets the aggregate criteria.
