The enemy tempts every christian. Only the Holy Spirit helps us overcome him. When you are baptised with the Holy Spirit you start to be led by Him. Then you die in flesh and live through Jesus Christ. That way even when satan attacks you through your weaknesses he will not get you. Even if you fall, you will know that it is not the end because through repentance, our sins are forgiven through Jesus Christ. Read Galatians 5.

The devil can only attack you when you have any of these: pride, lust, fear, doubt, envy, bitterness, unforgiveness and inferiority complex. Holiness means getting these vices out of your life. This was why he had no success with Jesus. His life was free of these vices.
