Jean has a passive that regenerates 20% of her burst cost on use (which is something like 16 energy). So her burst actually cost around 64 after the 1st use, which is pretty low imo.
with r5 anemona k. you also lower her burst cost since for each E she uses before her burst refunds 12 energy for her (being 36 at max) making her burst have like… 28 cost for 3 anemona k. stacks
Not only that. Her e have a 6 sec cd. So you can easily include 2 e per rotation. What i do is furina e then jean e then furina burst, the other unit then jean e q. Or i start with e. Move to position for grouping then start normal rotation.
Like if I recall with her passive before hand in solo annemo teams her ER requirements was around 160% ER so I don’t see how in solo annemo teams her ER would go up to 250 😅.

Just a PSA, Jean DOES NOT swirl within her circle. Swirl only occurs when enemies enter or exit the field or if she swirls a self applied element. She is not a brain dead user of 4piece VV. You must use her on field E for 100% uptime on VV res shred. You can see at 8:11 that no swirls are occurring while the seahorse is standing in Jean’s circle Thanks for the new guide!

Wish genshin give QoL settings for switching qte burst to qte skill so we can funnel the energy faster while in burst animation very useful when internet is yellow or red ping
Fun note: If you use the Kageuchi, you can use Atk instead of Recharge, because of the tremendous amount of energy this weapon gives at R5. I use Kageuchi with Atk. 150% Recharge, and she always has Burst when using Skill -> Burst. The charge also remains if you change characters, so even using Burst --> Skill you will still trigger the passive.
Remember: Fav is only busted if you can proc it's effect, if you don't have enough Crit. Rate to get the colorless particles consistently then you either need to change her artifacts or her weapon. I'm working on getting VV pieces (strongbox) with Crit. Rate, Atk%, and ER%, but for now she's on Amenoma, which is her best next option.
what I think makes Favonius not that worth it for Jean is if it has low refinement, because even if you crit, you'll then need to win another RNG with a high CD. as long as it's R5 and her build has some crit, you can at least do a few basic attacks to crit in case both her skill and burst fail to do so depending on the team, Amenoma is her best 4* weapon and it's quite feasible to get it to R5, too
My favorite team so far is Raiden/Furina/Yelan/Jean. Comfy and hurty. No energy issues with Raiden, Yelan and Furina go nice together, and Jean (or any anemo) can swirl both elements. I actually think I need to cut back on the ER a bit teamwide as the regen is so good I'm caping before the CD is even up.

Currently having insane fun with Yoimiya - Yelan as DPS duo with Furina - Jean. Having farmed the Marechausee Hunter/Golden Troupe domain for too long I had extra pieces to put on Yoimiya since Furina gives anybody access to that Artifact set, and my Yelan having 280% ER helps my Jean out with the recharging. Thanks for the video though, can now optimize Jean's Artifacts

Also yeah Xlice actually literally speaks about how Furina's teamwide HP drain allows anybody the use of the Marechausee set so try again.
I actually love using Barbara because you can stay on field healing the entire team which builds stacks easy, try hyperbloom and just spam Barbara healing.

@@XyranTv she's fine in hyperbloom tho (and burgeon im guessing, i haven't looked much into those teams) yeah she won't be boosting the hyperblooms themselves but she'll be boosting everyone else (xingqiu, yelan, kokomi nahida, fischl, or whoever you're using as your other slots) and they do pretty decent personal damage
Sooo I have Jean and I cleared all of floor 12 with a Furina and Jean party yesterday. It works. My Furina is 70 and my Jean is 86, paired with Zhongli and Dendro Traveler and second floor was Layla, Yao Yao, Fischl and Eula. Eula was my only 90 character.
Something crazy happened when I rebuild my Jean few days ago.... long story short, I wanted to use fav sword on Jean BUT she will need crit but I don't want to get rid of healing bonus main stat so I tried to level up my healing bonus artifact... I got 18% crit rate on my first try.... Totally bruh moment
i love putting jean as a driver for furina and yelan, with summit shaper and a lot of atk, the dmg bonus from yelan and furina complement the high atk and since shes driving and catching particles, I can give her more offensive stats. I love doing decent numbers on jean while shes supporting the off field dpses, I've always wanted to use main dps jean in some shape or form
I run Furina (ER,HP,CR) Yelan (HP,Hydro,Cr) Jean (ER,AT,CR) and Raiden(ER,Electro,CR) Raiden heavily carries energy generation for the team allowing me to only run ~170ER on my Jean and to focus more on offensive stats. Also the off-field Electro helps a lot with AOE.
Thank you, this is exactly what I needed. Jean is so good with Furina, but otherwise I bench her. Now I know exactly how to play her with Furina. Bonus: She uses Fav here which is just so good aesthetically.
I've been using Jean with my Freeze team with Wriothesley, Furina and Shenhe and it is actually fun. The one downside that this team has though is the lack of mobility since you're supposed to stay in Jean's circle in order to heal Wrio. I hope they release a cryo or anemo healer that lets you move around though. Mika could be a solution but his overtime regen ain't that good so I'll have to wait and see.
Gey Wrio C1 and problem solved. That's what I did. Ngl I did get lucky and won 50/50. If you get him C1 you cand do a charge atk at the end of every normal attack sequence. Solving the problem of him losing more HP than gaining. Plus you have Jean, so basically you start full HP each rotation with him.
If you don’t have C1 Wrio. You need Mika Kazuha instead of Jean Shenhe if you like circle impact. Also, they won’t release another cryo healer since we already have 4 of them. Qiqi is you last choice if you don’t want circle impact. But that’s the only thing you have for her value. No particles. Copium buff with Tenacity
Still kinda weird most people i saw just recommend and enforce ayaka more in furina freeze where it's fundamentally weaker than her old freeze, whereas mika furina kazuha wrio competes with ayaka freeze on sgt and outperforms ayaka on multiphase abyss. People sleep on wrio too much. And yes, jean wrio is worse than kazuha mika since mika also upgrades wrio NAs
its actually still not, furina only buffs the base dmg before the quicken/aggravate is calculated so it gives the illusion of her directly buffing the reaction

What a coincindence, I just did a final pull on Furina's banner as I am now out of primos hoping to get her to C1 but it was 50/50 and I lost it to Jean. Well, not really lost. I have been playing from since launch and I have been hoping to get Jean for over three years! This was an absolute win and bigger buff to Furina than C1 would have been, hahaha! Now I need go and farm tons of dandelion seeds. I wasn't prepared to get Jean.
I'd like to add, was looking for a sword to replace R5 Amenoma on my Jean for a Furina team comp, and realised that "Finale of the Deep" is actually a good alternative. I have my Jean built around R5 FotD and she works fine. Not easy to get R5 due to rng, but if you have like 5 of them lying around, it's an option.
first time i'm not mad that all my 50/50s went into jean. i haven't used her ever but now i will def try her out in case i get furina (pls i'm begging)

I was really sad watching Furina builds because I didn't have Jean, just watching the team comps part of the videos and seeing Jean as the best tandem for her was breaking my heart. And then, before pulling for a guaranteed Furina, I decided to use the blue fates I got (6) on the standard banner, I didn't have any hopes because I'm just on 8 pity after getting mtfk Dehya and on the first pull, I GOT JEAN! 🎉🥳🤗 It's one of my luckiest (if not the luckiest) Genshin moments! I felt so effing happy 🤗
I dig the mono hydro team with her as a driver. Got her c2 finally and damn its mayhem. What I found for myself is that you can run her with skyward if furina gets the fav instead and Xingqiu can still use the sac-sword. Yelan needs Favge though. My Jean has around 185 ER and works like a charm. But you need another rotation and mainly swap Yelan and Xing and burst before skill so you funnel the hydro-particles to the next character. I.e.: Furina E > Q; Xing Q (followed by n for optimised damage) > E (E); Yelan Q (followed by n for optimised damage) > E; Jean E > Q, E, E --> Repeat^^
i think the most exciting part is whole reason i got into genshin i saw Jean on cover and loved her spent 3 years trying to get her got her 2 weeks ago finally
I feel like Jean should be able to easily meet her er requirements with just fav and some er substats alone. She only needs 160-200% as a solo anemo. ER sands feels like overkill as atk sands will give you stronger heals and more damage. Amenoma is also very good especially at higher refinements and xiphos for em build.
Yup. She have a passive that can deduct 20% of her burst cost meaning 16. Then if you're using amenoma, with her 6 seconds e cd, you can easily use 2 e for 24 er refund. Making her have a 40 burst cost. Im using amenoma, atk, atk, healing.
Ngl xiphos is such a good sword for jeane support since it gives you an immense party wide er buff. Probably my favorite thing to run on her with my furina teams.

I opted for Raiden Core. Raiden, Xingqiu, Furina, Jean. With my Furina, Xingqiu at 180% ER, and Ei being Ei. Furina’s Fanfare can be easily obtained too. My Jean can be extremely flexible and not to mention my rotation is super easyyy. 🙌🙌
Ur nuev is losing dmg using double hydro if he’s C0 since you mention zhongli so you’re only getting two stacks of his passive and not three. You should replace furina for fishcl and jean for kazu if you have him you could easily get 36 star using furina in a different comp.
Im running Chongyun, Shenhe, Furina, Jean. Always wanted to Onfield Dps Chongyun because his NA, skill, and burst are very cool (hehe) with his absurdly hot (hehe) Aunt supporting, Furinas huge buff and freezing makes it work better. Is it amazing? of course not, its Chongyun. But it works and its fun and I finally get to use the Shenhe I got on her debut banner. (dont have Ayaka)
I use Furina Jean Yelan and Kokomi in my team. I swapped Jean with Kazuha depending on my mood. But mostly I use Jean because casting her burst is satisfying to me just like Kokomi.

I don't usually like to use Furina E+Q -> Jean E+Q, because by that time your team won't lose enough HP for Jean's burst be necessary..... I usually use Furina E+Q -> Yelan E+Q and then Jean E+Q

Her a4 decreases her burst cost to 64. With 2 amenoma procs the burst cost is lowered to 40 (to 28 with 3 amenoma procs)

Jean was my first 5 stars on release and she never left my teams. Currently C4 and triple crowned, I really love how Furina enables healers.

i use barbara too but for the open world version lol i use jean for the spiral abyss lol
Furina doesn't shine much with bloom teams I mean it's okay but her buff doesn't boost the damage

Even with neuvillette in the team, If you aren't c2 furina, you can't comfortably reach high/max stacks early on in the fight without a healer.

Try her with bennet c6, her pyro hits vaping each time are insane with furina plus XQ or Yelan. Synergistic with an attack goblet.

One minor correction is that furina's damage boost does work on quicken related reactions
its actually still not, furina only buffs the base dmg before the quicken/aggravate is calculated so it gives the illusion of her directly buffing the reaction
@@chronicallygaga maybe i should specify "damage done by aggravate attacks" rather than the reaction itself. the point is its a straight buff for the main damage in aggravate teams

Amenoma is definitely one of the better weapons on jean. Higher attack scaling and helps her burst every rotation. Especially quickswapp
What a coincindence, I just did a final pull on Furina's banner as I am now out of primos hoping to get her to C1 but it was 50/50 and I lost it to Jean. Well, not really lost. I have been playing from since launch and I have been hoping to get Jean for over three years! This was an absolute win and bigger buff to Furina than C1 would have been, hahaha! Now I need go and farm tons of dandelion seeds. I wasn't prepared to get Jean.
I'd like to add, was looking for a sword to replace R5 Amenoma on my Jean for a Furina team comp, and realised that "Finale of the Deep" is actually a good alternative. I have my Jean built around R5 FotD and she works fine. Not easy to get R5 due to rng, but if you have like 5 of them lying around, it's an option.

I was really sad watching Furina builds because I didn't have Jean, just watching the team comps part of the videos and seeing Jean as the best tandem for her was breaking my heart.
And then, before pulling for a guaranteed Furina, I decided to use the blue fates I got (6) on the standard banner, I didn't have any hopes because I'm just on 8 pity after getting mtfk Dehya and on the first pull, I GOT JEAN! 🎉🥳🤗

I dig the mono hydro team with her as a driver. Got her c2 finally and damn its mayhem.
What I found for myself is that you can run her with skyward if furina gets the fav instead and Xingqiu can still use the sac-sword. Yelan needs Favge though.
My Jean has around 185 ER and works like a charm.
But you need another rotation and mainly swap Yelan and Xing and burst before skill so you funnel the hydro-particles to the next character.
I.e.: Furina E > Q; Xing Q (followed by n for optimised damage) > E (E); Yelan Q (followed by n for optimised damage) > E; Jean E > Q, E, E --> Repeat^^
It's funny that both characters are *acting* their roles

I feel like Jean should be able to easily meet her er requirements with just fav and some er substats alone. She only needs 160-200% as a solo anemo. ER sands feels like overkill as atk sands will give you stronger heals and more damage. Amenoma is also very good especially at higher refinements and xiphos for em build.
Yup. She have a passive that can deduct 20% of her burst cost meaning 16. Then if you're using amenoma, with her 6 seconds e cd, you can easily use 2 e for 24 er refund. Making her have a 40 burst cost.
Im using amenoma, atk, atk, healing.
Ngl xiphos is such a good sword for jeane support since it gives you an immense party wide er buff. Probably my favorite thing to run on her with my furina teams.

With my Furina, Xingqiu at 180% ER, and Ei being Ei. Furina’s Fanfare can be easily obtained too. My Jean can be extremely flexible and not to mention my rotation is super easyyy. 🙌🙌

Ur nuev is losing dmg using double hydro if he’s C0 since you mention zhongli so you’re only getting two stacks of his passive and not three. You should replace furina for fishcl and jean for kazu if you have him you could easily get 36 star using furina in a different comp.

Im running Chongyun, Shenhe, Furina, Jean. Always wanted to Onfield Dps Chongyun because his NA, skill, and burst are very cool (hehe) with his absurdly hot (hehe) Aunt supporting, Furinas huge buff and freezing makes it work better. Is it amazing? of course not, its Chongyun. But it works and its fun and I finally get to use the Shenhe I got on her debut banner. (dont have Ayaka)

I use Furina Jean Yelan and Kokomi in my team. I swapped Jean with Kazuha depending on my mood. But mostly I use Jean because casting her burst is satisfying to me just like Kokomi.
You only need one healer.

As a person who really enjoyed Jean's kit. When I saw Furina buffing Jean, I just had to grab her. So glad I won the 50/50 and got her weapon.

I've found that Neuvi, Furina, Nahida and Jean work quite alright.
it's not extremely effective but it will get the job done.
I use the same comp, just fischl instead of nahida
I'm still building Kuki Shinobu at the moment, but Jean is definitely my next focus. Hopefully, this means getting lucky rolls on artefacts. I have over 100 Marachausee Hunter and Golden Troupe sets ready to be put into the artefact boxes for VV... I might as well adjust Venti and Kazuha's artefacts, too...
Mona-Hydro comp: Mona/Yelan/Furina/Barbara or Qingqiu depends on how much heal you need, on Barbara thrilling tales or prototype amber? Mona is on field driver xD

I don't usually like to use Furina E+Q -> Jean E+Q, because by that time your team won't lose enough HP for Jean's burst be necessary..... I usually use Furina E+Q -> Yelan E+Q and then Jean E+Q
