I really need to boost the algorithm to get more Bob brown content...... The guy needs more credit. You Always learn something from the guy if you listen..
There is a big difference between an AMRAP set vs a 1RM. Though both are maybe done at a 10RPE, but they are doing it in a different way. One method is considered the repetition method, and the other is the max effort method… no matter how you do it, there are only 3 methods to getting stronger. Max Effort Method, Repetition Method, and Dynamic effort. The trick is to combine all three methods💪
I don’t disagree but my method is what motivates me to go to the gym. Motivation to go to the gym is the single most important element of working out. Otherwise you won’t do it at all.
@@bobbrownfun 100% compliance is the most important part. I was just making the point that you are using both the max effort method, and the repetition method. Which is awesome and the way it should be… more so just pointing out that you are doing it correctly
@@jasoncostantini8886 Denis Cyplenkov recommended to avoid lifting light weights for many repetitions. He said this trains you for to lift light weights
Theres a billion more methods to get strong , guys at westside barbell who tend to have an amazing bench , able to bend their knee a whole quarter of an inch with 30000 pounds and call it a squat with shitty deadlifts do think theres only 3 methods . Look out oly lifters and other strenght sports you will quickly see otherwise
@Alejandro Gjezi You havent turned my point against me and ''explained'' 1-01 training/body concepts everybody understands... Beside Plyometric , wich everyone that understands training completly disregards as complete garbage. Obviously Periodisation is primordial. And yes the way most armwrestlers train is laughable... Id exclude 5 from thats statement but thats pretty much it Edit ; As an olympic weightlifter , no beside the main movement we dont work much at the high end % . Well if youre from the USA you probably are working with only high %... of injuries and yet , the slowest least explosive lifters but , well , have fun winning fuckall medals in the super heavies. + I havent said westside is a complete failure , but most people interpretation of it is .
This guy seems smarter than most imo.that series with paul italia was on par

How old are you bob? Are you getting stronger month after month?; Just curious but I doubt you will even see this question
After your 1RM Exercise, which excercises do you choose for assistant work out?
Interesting Bob, some stuff to digest there, thanks!.
Thanks for sharing young man!!!
More reps don't mean stronger, that's just indurance, right?
