Hey! I’ve been travelling the Netherlands for the last week and have been loving it. I went into a store the other day and bought your stickers! So cute 🥰😊 just clicked subscribe too xoxo
Wanted to share a lil tip to save the pumpkin syrup you mentioned you needed to use up. It was hard to tell from the video but if it is the consistency of caramel you could freeze it to make it last longer. You’d have to freeze it in lil drops on parchment paper for ~ 4 hours and then you can transfer it into a freezer safe bag. When making a coffee add a few of the frozen drops to the jug and let the hot coffee pour over it to melt it into the drink.
I’m currently reading Quicksilver by Callie Hart! It’s a romance fantasy book, I’m only at the beginning but seems promising so far. Thanks for the vlog, it was super cozy! 🍄🍁
the autumn vibes in this video was absolutely perfect 🍄 🍂🕯 so glad you're enjoying intermezzo!!! I loved it soooo much as well and I so expected not too because im also not Rooneys biggest fan. but she did it. she converted me into a rooney fan
The "grease" of the cookies could also be moisture from the pumpkin puree, especially if the recipe uses less flour or altered temp and time for a chewier cookie. I noticed you pat some liquid out with the paper towel but it can hold quite a lot. I so admire your style with your clothes and accessories 🔮🤎🖤🍄
I think it must've held SO much liquid, because even after using like 10 paper towels to get the liquid out it still felt a bit wet. The taste was nice but the texture not so much :( Thank you!!
ooooooh Britt, listen, if you're in your witchy era I totally recommend you T Kingfisher's "A Sorceress Comes to Call". It's spooky thought not very scary, it has gothic vibes, there's an evil witch... I'm currently reading it and I'm LIVING. T. Kingfisher could become one of my favourite writers easily. But this is only the second book I read from her... I have 2 more in my super gigantic TBR pile. I've seen Thomas Olde several times because he's usually invited to this Fantasy-SciFi-Horror Literature festival in northern Spain (not very far from where I live) and hearing him talk about his books, his life, the sources of inspirations and the state of the genre... I think his books would be too much for me... they are translated into Spanish btw if you want to recommend them. Oh and we nicknamed him the "Justin Bieber" of horror... XD He's very handsome and very nice. Rest in power Maggie Smith, my muse, my icon, my spirit animal.
Thanks so much for the recommendation!! Happy reading! I love that Thomas is getting more popular around the world :) hahah Justin Bieber of horror, love it! Oh Maggie Smith :( I still can't believe it
This was indeed the perfect autumnal day 🍂 the cookies looked too good but i trust you and i wont be trying this recipe cause i dont like too buttery foods 🙈 beautiful video Britt 🤎🍄🕯📖
Nice vlog! That advent calender is so cute! What nintendo game did you mention? I just got one and I'm playing animal crossing and hogwarts legacy. That game your playing sounded so cute!
Another funny entertaining video. Love the fact that you drink Yorkshire tea and that you can get it in The Netherlands. How did you discover Yorkshire Tea? (I live in Yorkshire so am intrigued) 🍄
Thomas Olde Heuvelt is the absolute best, I love him as a writer and as a person. Queer Dutch Icon 🏳️🌈 His books are mostly horror (not thriller as you mentioned). And yes I also had a nightmare about Hex haha, so creepy. It does get worse, so maybe don't continue reading it.

Hex is on my eventual TBR!
Your outfit was so good!! Total practical magic whimsy goth vibes.
Thank you!

omg that's such a great tip!! I'm sure I could've frozen it, because it was indeed quite caramely. Definitely trying that next time!
Unrelated, but your earrings are so cute!!
Thanks so much!!
Very nice automnal day! I love when you show what you eat, I also live alone and never know what to make myself 😅
Thanks for watching!! Yeah it can definitely be quite difficult to come up with easy one person recipes 😅

Those earrings! 😍🤩 Can you share where they are from? (the ones with the little hands, and the purple drops)
Thanks!! I actually got them for Christmas last year and I've got no clue about which brand it is, sorry!
Thank you for this vlog❤ It gives such a nice vibe 😊
Ah yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks!

Your food looks delicious. Hex is on my Amazon wishlist but I have heard that English edition's ending is different than the Dutch one.
How strange that the ending is different!
@@BasicallyBrittx Maybe you can read both versions and compare them.
I can’t watch spooky/horror at night when alone (although I sometimes still do), so reading similar books would probably freak me out too.
SAME! I don't know why I even tried this one lol hahah

glad you enjoyed the video!! yeah the cookies looked amazing but they were tooo greasy lol
That advent calendar looks amazing 😍
A shame about the cookies but relatable about being creeped out by a book like that 😅 🍄
Doesn't it?! I can't wait to open it!
I've DNF'd Hex, because it was too scary for me hahah
One thing that could improve the taste of the cookies would be if you put a coating on them kinda like a lebkuchen cookie.
Very good tip!!

Thanks!! it's called Wylde Flowers!

I actually always get it when I'm in England, but I'm sure you can find it in some expat shops here in The Netherlands! it's so tasty :)

Unfortunately it was too scary for me, so I had to DNF it :(

Ikvond hex oke, goede verhaallijn. Spannend😊 Alleen werd ik gek van het gevloek en de kinderachtige schrijfstijl Geen thomas oldeheuvelt meer voor mij
Helemaal mee eens! Ik vond de schrijfstijl ook niet fantastisch
Are you going to (re)watch Joker 2? 😆
It just got released here so no rewatch for Britt yet haha. Love to see a reaction video of her!
@@arobinreads Update, watched it yesterday and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement 😅 will probably never rewatch it unfortunately
@@BasicallyBrittx yeah same. I really did not like it
