Valentine look like the accomplished elite mega stars they are, bringing home to this platform Quality and dishing out flowers as qualified men of authority in this musical R&B field.
The fact that he mentioned one Of Mariah’s background singer is crazy to meeee!! They’re definitely true R&B heads man, dammittttt!! One time for Cool & Dre been giving us classics for 2 decades!
And don't forget Kedar was a huge engine behind my favorite singer JOE! DEFINITELY waiting for him to bless the couch...👏🏾 And mannnnnnn they put him in their top 5!....bravooooo! He should never be left out....one of the few pristine voices left in R&B!....LEGEND
Beyoncé x Michael Jackson x Prince x Tupac Shakur is one of the wildest and dopest R&B Voltrons, yet. Sheesh! 🔥 And this is my favorite “I Aint Saying No Names” after Theron Thomas’ own. 😅
@@abbeyadeyemi6866 I immediately thought that at first also.. but remembered seeing Ye and Jamie's studio footage of "Slow Jamz" in the jeen-yuhs documentary.
My ADHD be messing with me bcuz I know at sometime during the show that all I'm gonna start thinking about is how J Valentine looks just as shocked as the guests when Tank starts playing the piano for Top 5 and I ain't saying no names... "What u got for em Chief?" 🤣🤣🤣
2:12:41 When God’s hands are in it…my goodness! When you are obedient…allow the Lord to lift you up. Their obedience impacted the lives of many, including that young lady and her mother. God blesses obedience over and above!! Thank you #RandBMoneyPodcast for having them!! 🙌🏾❤️🔥
The entire TS crew (i.e. Fat Joe, Khaled, C&D, especially Dre) have a similar speech pattern and forms of expression. You can tell they're all brothers and spend a lot of time together.
Best Voltron EVER!!!! Awesome interview. Since I’ve been watching this podcast, I don’t listen to music the same. I’m always thinking of the key players behind the scenes and that makes me appreciate the work that goes into it.
This was an incredible episode everything it was billed to be and more. Cool and Dre delivered in terms of contributing to a classic episode I really enjoyed this one R&B money are very thoughtful, interlectually sound and a very generous podcast Great stuff.🎉🎉🎉❤
For Dre to recognize Joe is amazing. He gets lost in the shuffle because he made a lot of adult contemporary songs among the era of boy bands and Usher
Yo, This was an amazing interview. Cool and Dre really them dudes💯 I really love there sprit. And Dre really sounds like he can sing! Love the story that cool told in the end about the little girl. God definitely has a plan for all of us. Great perspective 💯🙏🏾💪🏾
The I ain’t saying No Names Segment had me hollering 😂😂😂😂 The Main Artist was JAMIE FOX, for sure! The feat artist??? Sounds like something Lauren Hill would do 😩😭
I watch the interviews backwards sometimes. I love to hear their IASNO, Top 5, Voltron… and then go watch the beginning. Anybody else do that or just me???? 👀
This is this is 👏🏾.. Me being from Miami born and raised I say this, I always love how Dre made it known that he’s from North Miami and always rep it on every song

Y’all had me laughing & crying at the same time. First because of the “I Ain’t Saying No Names…what a great story! So funny. And second…I teared up because you made that little girl’s day who battled cancer. Music touches us all in different ways. Thank u for this podcast & the blessings that it brings to us all!
Loved this interview and their Voltron was crazy! Devante IS Voltron by himself and to know he produced the beat to one of my favorite Tupac songs, No More Pain, made their selections chef’s kiss! P.S. who was the main artist in I ain’t saying no names cause what 😂
I appreciate & love R&B Money podcast for all the wisdom, insight, humor & joy that y'all provide through it. I've watched most of the episodes but this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a comment. I also appreciate much of the wisdom and insight that Cool & Dre are sharing throughout this episode, always great learning from others. But I would also caution them against advocating for things like A.I. and Air B&B when both have a long-reaching negative impact for humanity. I notice how sometimes we equate "good" as meaning something that is being widely implemented although we can see that there are many harmful effects to that particular invention or phenomenon. I'm not trying to hate or demonize anyone, since most of us, including myself, are consumers of whatever said products and live in a society that is deeply intertwined with them. I just felt it was important to voice an additional perspective to make sure we are mindful of the way these kinds of products are operating from a holistic perspective. I will end my comment with more love for R&B Money, J Valentine & Tank ❤️ Wishing yall much continued success & happiness, thank you for truly doing the Lord's work out here :)
That was a good interview! I’ve always heard of cool Dre but never seen them before, and was vaguely familiar with them, but it was nice to meet these guys. They are humble and talented. Thanks for sharing!
One of my favorite production duos ever. Lol it's funny because they tell stories exactly like Fat Joe, Khaled and Irv Gotti. Lol they picked up that NYC style story telling from Joe. Love it 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Somebody needs to give Ricky Bell his flowers for his vocals with New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe. Underrated singer
FACTS!
Yessss!!! Ricky is my favorite! He did that with "When Will I See You Smile Again" , "I Do Need You". Plus I used to crush on him heavy 😍🥰🤤

Vintage B. Brown and Ricky have always been my fav voices
They’re responsible for so many hits of my childhood
The background singer for MC he was referring to is Trey Lorenz. He was a vocal beast!!!

Someone FINALLY put Joe in their top 5.
I’ve heard him be mentioned in top 5 before just don’t remember who
I believe it was Mario that had Joe in his 5.
And Eric Dawkins
Facts or undeniable facts...it's about time Cool and Dre was on this podcast
They just gave a masterclass without even trying. This what the greats should do on podcasts. Respect
That was the best "I ain't saying no names" story yet lol
I hollered laughing
I wanna know who the artists were
A total guess, I'm thinking it's Jamie Fox and Kanye West
@@abbeyadeyemi6866 I immediately thought that at first also.. but remembered seeing Ye and Jamie's studio footage of "Slow Jamz" in the jeen-yuhs documentary.
It sounds very Ye or Drake-ish lol

It's something so sexy about about a laid back man. Not flashy , not cocky , just simply him
Please get Leon Sylvers on your show. There's no R&B.Money without his production from back in the day. Give him his flowers!
Basically what Cool is trying to say is that it’s God’s time for Dre to get out there and make his R&B debut! Let’s gooooo!!! 😊
One of the best interviews of the year! From start to finish
Best Voltron EVER!!!! Awesome interview. Since I’ve been watching this podcast, I don’t listen to music the same. I’m always thinking of the key players behind the scenes and that makes me appreciate the work that goes into it.

Joe was around way before boy bands, and usher blew up. He did get lost in the shuffle...the shuffle of so many talented rnb groups and singers.
