This music is beautiful I also love a water Lily Your playing is quite good actually. I've been playing for a weeks now and its inspiring to see someone other that professionals play with such emotion Thanks for this
Oh my gosh, that's high praise xD to tell the truth I'm not much more than an amateur, and I know I'm pretty rusty. Hopefully will put something new up here soon. All the best with your own erhu leaning experience!
@@ixveriamusic Thanks iḿ gonna need it haha i play guitar, blues harp and cello but this feels totally different but i love the way it sounds ! could i ask for some tips and tricks in the future ? (there aren't a lot of erhu player or teachers where i live)
@@Dirksdungeon tips and tricks? Haha a lot of patience and practice. Because the erhu isnt fretted like the guitar, tuning can be tricky, so I advise you to start with pieces you're familiar with. Another piece of advice I give to my students is to be patient with the erhu. It's going to sound like a dying cat for the first few sessions but dont be afraid of it sounding bad. You wont make progress if you're holding back. Start slow. Master playing bowing long notes before you move onto playing faster. A lot of people, me included, want to move onto playing fast right away because it might be easier than playing long notes, but that screws with your bowing technique because you dont slow down to focus on making sure your bowing is correct, and you'll end up struggling to play fast sections too. Good luck!!!
EDIT: Sheet music, for the many that have been asking, I found a version online that I've linked in the description box above. It's also linked on the Facebook page.
+charaev82 There is no chinese language, im not sure what you mean. if you click the "show more" under the title of the video where there are words, there should be a link there.
+charaev82 It's at the bottom of all the words. they are all in english. I didnt write anything in chinese except for the name of the person who wrote the piece...........
Are the first two bars to this humanly impossible? Bars: Continual 6.---|6.--- I haven’t seen Jia Peng Fang play them in any of his performances; they’re nearly always played via sound system/speakers, just like in the recording you’re playing to.
Do you mean the very beginning of the track? I think it's just a synthesizer playing the accompaniment. If you're asking if playing 2 8 counts of a note on the erhu is possible, it is. With a lot of practice and control hahah
+~nanyen Hello! HELP! I learn to play on chinese Xiao flute and japan shakuchachi! Help! Have You a NOTES or MIDI of Silent Moon melody? Can You give me??))
The gril has potential to be good in erhu in future, needs to be relaxed, put some compassion in it, common issue with people today is that they follow the rules and books too much, not a lot of compassion and creativity.
Peng Liu I would agree with your statement. Not a whole lot of original things these days. People are just trying to create things that have already been invented
And one is called " discovery" by definition and book, the other is called "invention", wise girl you are, not just some collectively intelligent smart person; keep practicing erhu, I'd like to hear you playing as good and well as 柠露, just type in "lemon erhu" on youtube, you will find her erhu performance, I believe you will be as good as her one day shortly in future(you are not that far from her in some areas).
Peng Liu umm to be completely honest with you, I am no girl and I do not have an Erhu. I will get one in the future, but right now I’m just saving up. Also, I am in a school orchestra practicing the violin, currently in what is called “advanced” orchestra. But thanks anyways. Also, do you play an instrument?
That was very moving. I really enjoyed your performance. Thank you for posting this.
Beautifully done, thankyou for sharing.
Thanks for sharing the link for the music sheet. And nice playing btw. I love it! ❤️
