@hal4683 most people have better damage dealers that are more accessible, Gaming is as rare as a limited, wants C6 Bennet, Kaeya, Rosaria or Citlali, C6 Diona. Not cheap teams. And wants C6 himself.
And every year I just have 3 options -5 star things by selecting an C6 -Yunjin -Newest character Somehow the banners that I pull aways have Liyue characts, except for Yunjin

Gaming was a character that I enjoyed using, and with Citlali, it has been really nice having both a comfort and a significantly more damage increasing team member bundled into one for him. Since Citlali's the TTDS holder, to no one's surprise, having Favge on Xianyun has been really nice for everyone's er reqs. I'm super tempted to pull on Arlecchino's banner at an attempt for Lan Yan cons. Even tho I have Father, I don't mind getting C1 accidentally cuz I like her to the point of choosing to use her over Mavuika. That and my primos will have time to recover with the help of Yumemizuki Mizuki. Thank you, Yumemizuki Mizuki, and thank you, Zajef and the editing team for these videos 👍
I like the Gaming point about Citlali it is amazing but Furina Xianyun Bennet definitely also works very well. I run him on Maruchausse w/ Rainslasher and I can consistently get like 3-4 plunge vapes to kill SIMON (Sumeru Triangle Robot Boss) so even if people don't have Citlali for Melt Furina also works and I hope people understand that ❤️
Im i the only one who was getting uncomfortable watching background gameplay where character were fighting the enemies immune to the element they wield.
Like always im going for the new character I don't have, I did the same for Yao Yao and Gaming as I do every year. I upgraded all my units to level 80 with correct mainstat artifacts and weapons. I dont use most of them outside IT but I just like having them.
Been waiting ages for a Yun Jin banner so that I can finally get that c6 lol. Lan Yan is pretty tempting tho, so I might get her instead if I roll a Yun Jin while trying to get C2 Baizhu on chronicled.

I mean it depends what kind of carries you like using. If you aren't planning on using her w/ more than 1 other geo unit & you are using carries whose damage is reliant on normal attacks, just go for it. If you value attack speed even a little, that 12% attack speed could be the difference between "meh" and "damn this unit's gameplay actually pretty feels nice". Fuck whatever the meta is. Fun > Meta.
For gaming if you have any vertical at all into furina citlali is going to do very little for your gaming (obviously goes both ways if you have any vertical into citlali) aside from direct dmg citlali c0 will also fill your team with uptime inconsistency issues to the point where you end up melting 2-3 less plunges than you could’ve vaped which is in my experience a 300k+ damage per rotation loss. Overall melt is good but you do end up playing worse units over vape which balances it out. (Vape is also just way more comfy and can’t randomly brick)

So anemo shielder (and i beleave she is on banner where i dont want 5* whatsoever) My beidou was my first c6 outside traveler Dont like jump boy cos pogo (playing on phone so wonky camera and thumb starts to hurt relatively soon; also, not that it matters, c2 and no granny/cloud retainer) Čenling (or is it šenling?) is c4, so good enough for now Singco (or is it singso?) is also c4, so i guess he is next in line if i have all characters
Gaming buff from citlali is very funny. On my account his rotation dmg sheets more than my mavuika (probably cause I just dont have good enough stats yet on obsidian for mavuika). 500k plunges with c0r1 xianyun, c6 gaming, c0r1 citlali (ttds is pretty close but im using wolfs gravestone so have a lot of atk already Edit: nvm my mavuika uses wolfs, my gaming using r5 serpents) and c6 bennett. Pretty easy 2m+ dmg per rotation and you have plenty of time between plunges to reposition or dodge which feels nice.
That's a lot of support to get that. Meanwhile I slapped some random artifacts on Mavuika, no set bonus, something like 175% Crit Dmg, with Wolfs Gravestone, and then a C5 Bennett, C0 Furina, and a C0 Xilonen all with 4 star weapons. Initial burst of 750k. Maybe I just don't understand how to play Gaming but I find his plunge attacks slow to use and you don't get many of them. I've tried a few times but since I own xianyun. Now also Citlali. I always end up preferring Hutao.
@JustSomeGuy009 it doesnt matter there's only 5 plunges when each does 400-500k. Also how much crit rate tho? I do not believe 750k crit with c0 furina, no set bonuses, no C6 Bennett, wolfs unless the crit rate is like 30-50% (which makes the rotation dmg suffer without farming)

@ Absolutely citlali. Her application lines up so easily with gaming to where its plenty to keep cryo aura before you plunge and her cryo following you is a huge qol since you position to melee with gaming anyways. If you want, go checkout gxg noir's recent vid on citlali and go to the gaming section, he covers calcs and shows gameplay of how her application lines up.
in my high hp nilou team with furina nilou nahida yaoyao, her cons are very integral for healing the hp drain and bloom self dmg whilst also allowing for furina stacks to max out even with high hp characters on the team in one burst from yaoyao. No one practically dies and not needing to normal attack allows for a comfy playstyle, dodging and spamming burst on cooldown. Yaoyao will be my choice for the selector. also cus i have citlali and zhongli so no need haha.
I just pulled Mavuika and Citlali . I don't have plans to pull until Skirk or any pyro off-fielder(stuff of dreams, I know) so I might go fish for some Chevruse cons on the next banner. And who knows, I might pull some Lan Yan cons as well. Or, Rosaria or Chlorinde might haunt me instead of Chevruse and Lan Yan, punishing me for pulling 4 stars cons. Who knows.
Me as a new player that doesn't have any of them AAAA, i want fischl beidou and xingqiu but i like Lan Yan design a lot, i was hopping to just do the sucrosse team of these 4 with her instead, but don't have any of em.
Mr Jef just so you know, Lan Yan is pronounced with short vowels - it simply rhymes with the English words can, tan, ban, and so on. No need to go all the way to Lahn Yahn!
I'm at C4 Gaming and gonna be pulling on Arle/Clo banner so I'll probably get him over Lan Yan. I also have Xilonen and Citlali, but I will be looking to snipe Xianyun whenever she reruns for unrelated reasons (Hu Tao plunge).
I'm at 0 pity and I already have Arlecchino so I'm going to pull on Clorinde to try for Lan Yan, I want to choose Gaming as my free character because I need 3 more cons for his C6.
I have C6 Gaming but want Lanyan. Luckily I won Mavuika, Citlali and Mavu weapon so I'll try to find a Lan Yan from Clorinde's banner (don't really care if I end up finding her early). If I don't succeed I'll take Lan Yan if I succeed I'll take Gaming C6.
The only good 4*s on the list that I don't have at C6 already is Gaming, and LanYan... So I'm going to pull on Clorinde's banner, hoping for more Chevy and as many Lanyan cons as possible, and if I get Clorinde's C1 it's a bonus.
We can talk about Gaming being really good to the cows come home and I agree Gaming is pretty damn strong. But let's not ignore how over the past year, Ningguang got buffed twice. Night Time of Whispering Woods + Navia and/or Xilonen. There's plenty of team variations where Ningguang actively pops off. Meanwhile, the current Spiral Abyss for another day or so has Wolflord - and even Zajef himself struggled to 4* clear. Why? Coz bro never invested or learnt Ningguang. Ningguang is in an amazing place.
so i havent had a pyro dps, i was gunna go for arle but i have xianyun, and a c6 gaming (not built), just missing citlali which would be a general better pull for more teams... might just pull citlali and give gaming some love, i do enjoy his playstyle

Tbh i think you should go for gaming, you're already so close and if you actually play him he's worth. Lanyan is definitely good but she's not necessarily optimal in most teams, and she can be replaced by another anemo character
I can’t decide between Gaming (C2), Lanyan or YaoYao. Gaming is a pain in the @ss cuz I got only 2 cons the last time he was in a banner (I’m talking about 4.8 with Furina, where I spent 180 wishes) but I still like him a lot, and I have Citlali. Lanyan and YaoYao are just great to have on the account. I won’t pull on character banner in the second half of 5.3 cuz I need Clorinde weapon. So I can get only one of those characters from the selector. What do u think?
If i dont get Lanyan with my 20 pulls i will get Gaming because i love him even if he will be c0. I have Furina Bennet for him he can make due with another anemo and i also intend to get Xianyun as well.
After Lanyan's release, I cant think of a single team where kazuha is BiS - maybe international but there's a case for Citlali replacing kazuha in those teams

Kazuha's grouping in this team is really relevant but so is Xilonen's healing, so I think they both are equally important, but yeah its fair to say he is BiS for Ayaka
How? Kazu groups better for childe's dmg scaling in aoe, buffs both childe and xiangling instead of just ttds on xiangling, has c2 larger em buff when you invest, and you already get healed by bennett so you dont necessarily need shield anyways. Im curious what citlali does over kaz too unless a constellation thing

At times like this, Lan Yan is a good choice because she is a completely new character
And it can be hard to snipe the 4* you want in the banners. New character is nice to have.

I have C6 Gaming but want Lanyan. Luckily I won Mavuika, Citlali and Mavu weapon so I'll try to find a Lan Yan from Clorinde's banner (don't really care if I end up finding her early). If I don't succeed I'll take Lan Yan if I succeed I'll take Gaming C6.
The only good 4*s on the list that I don't have at C6 already is Gaming, and LanYan...
So I'm going to pull on Clorinde's banner, hoping for more Chevy and as many Lanyan cons as possible, and if I get Clorinde's C1 it's a bonus.
We can talk about Gaming being really good to the cows come home and I agree Gaming is pretty damn strong. But let's not ignore how over the past year, Ningguang got buffed twice.
Night Time of Whispering Woods + Navia and/or Xilonen. There's plenty of team variations where Ningguang actively pops off. Meanwhile, the current Spiral Abyss for another day or so has Wolflord - and even Zajef himself struggled to 4* clear. Why? Coz bro never invested or learnt Ningguang.
Ningguang is in an amazing place.

so i havent had a pyro dps, i was gunna go for arle but i have xianyun, and a c6 gaming (not built), just missing citlali which would be a general better pull for more teams...

Tbh i think you should go for gaming, you're already so close and if you actually play him he's worth. Lanyan is definitely good but she's not necessarily optimal in most teams, and she can be replaced by another anemo character

I can’t decide between Gaming (C2), Lanyan or YaoYao. Gaming is a pain in the @ss cuz I got only 2 cons the last time he was in a banner (I’m talking about 4.8 with Furina, where I spent 180 wishes) but I still like him a lot, and I have Citlali. Lanyan and YaoYao are just great to have on the account. I won’t pull on character banner in the second half of 5.3 cuz I need Clorinde weapon. So I can get only one of those characters from the selector. What do u think?
If i dont get Lanyan with my 20 pulls i will get Gaming because i love him even if he will be c0. I have Furina Bennet for him he can make due with another anemo and i also intend to get Xianyun as well.

After Lanyan's release, I cant think of a single team where kazuha is BiS - maybe international but there's a case for Citlali replacing kazuha in those teams
there is NEVER a case where citlali replaces kazuha in international, also kazuha is BiS for neuvillette, and BiS for ayaka freeze by far

Ayaka's best Freeze team nowadays tends to be Ayaka+Furina+Kazuha+Xilonen. Kazuha's grouping in this team is really relevant but so is Xilonen's healing, so I think they both are equally important, but yeah its fair to say he is BiS for Ayaka

Kazu groups better for childe's dmg scaling in aoe, buffs both childe and xiangling instead of just ttds on xiangling, has c2 larger em buff when you invest, and you already get healed by bennett so you dont necessarily need shield anyways. Im curious what citlali does over kaz too unless a constellation thing
@@soroushkowsarian3364 I would consider Xilonen, citlali better than xilonen kazuha for neuvillette because of the defensive utility - For Ayaka freeze Lanyan will be competitive because of ttds. Dont get me wrong, hes still good but he isnt the irreplacable support he used to be
@@HiHelloHi false, at c0 you'd rather replace xilonen because both xilo and citlali cant hold scroll but kazuha can still hold VV. if you replace kazuha with her and put xilonen on petra you're getting 20% less resistance shred as well as 5% less damage bonus. if you're ganna go about how xilonen's healing is stacking furina, neuvillette team's can already do that themselves
