What merchant said @9:45 was true, I've solo queued with 2 randoms, a Japanese and a Taiwanese, Im Filipino. Each time we took fights we only say "low low", "Good job", "one one". All the rest was pings. We won :D peak diamond lobby

@@Divinity_vA in hk and China we say 很殘 which means very low, saying one or two is useless becuase anyone who’s paying attention can see how many people your team has knocked so far
@@Divinity_vA Like he was talking about in the video, good team mates wouldn't lie. When my team tells me someone is one shot, I know they're healing, out of the fight so I press their other 2 hopefully with our 3rd.

A couple of more things to take from him are that awareness is a skill he's good at - not only in using covers and holding high points, but reading plays like that Ash ult and opponents in general, and answering to them. In ways unexpected to the enemies, even.
What I usually see in my pleb lobbies is that teams often engage on low-intensivity fights and get stuck on them, until everyone dies to the ring. He, meanwhile, gets the damage done and the fights actually end. Even though he takes damage, he doesn't cover up to heal himself full but waits a bit and hits again. Unexpectedly but assertively.
He was a wattson main lol, he was literally forced to learn those skills.
Wattson's my favorite legend btw I ain't hating. Just saying from experience, if you do well with Wattson, chances are it was either luck, or pure skill.
Game sense is next level
Bro I had the opportunity to play with him in a game while we were both in platinum. Bruh really didn’t say much or speak but when he did his callouts and understanding of fights was incredible. He didn’t take any stupid fights and a few times he was 1v3ing teams because were weren’t together. It was insane to watch and we won the game.
9:45 I’m Jamaican & had 2 French teammates that knew a bit of English & I was goofing & had them laughing the whole dame & we went off for couple games back to back just having a good vybe. Effort in coms makes apex way easier.

The language barrier thing is so true. I had a squad that only spoke Spanish and I only speak English but the vibes were great because we were just having fun and teaching each other English and Spanish while we were playing and just destroying lobbies together lol
Dude the tip about just making sure the vibes are good is huge tbh. I’m a bartender and even if I’m having a bad day I have to keep the vibes rolling otherwise I’ll break. Usually after a bit of pushing through those negative thoughts with positive ones I actually end up having good vibes. This way of thoughts helps no matter what you are playing or doing in life. Stay strong bruhdahs.
To me the most important thing is the games he is not showing, the games were things dont go as planed, when you have to run away to zone and res/craft for 2 minutes just to get a full reset. You dont get to master by just getting 10 kills games. You also have to consider all the games where things go downhill from the start and you just barely stay alive just to get +2 rp at the end.

I was in and out and trust me- pretty boring to just watch an octane with both his teammates dead just hide and run from everyone chasing knowing he’s a solo - you also explained exactly how those games went that he didn’t show 😅. Not much to look at in terms of trying to use them as a way to get better- there was plenty of games where his team died immediately and he still won with a decent amount of kills

When I take “cover” I still take like 50 damage that I shouldn’t have taken because I’m behind the wall already.. when I play a door to peak shoot I still die after I close the door… 20 tick servers are hard to consider as competitive…
60 tick servers make next to no difference, it has been tested in R5 Reloaded (Modded Apex) it's just not worth it and brings a whole host of other issues
Your problem is ping not tick-rate, and ping is something you have to play around, anticipate when enemies will shoot back and go back in cover BEFORE they shoot

My friends and I finally dipped our toes into ranked and we're having a good time, at least in bronze. We play slower and communicate pretty well so getting rewarded for those things is nice to experience.
You will also get more fair matchups in low ranked than in pubs. Pubs these days are polluted with masters and preds in all my games. Excluding the occasional person smurfing like HisWattson in this video

Personally with the new addiction to the dummies in the firing range. My aim has improved drastically. Max strafe with crouching. It improves the overall micro adjustments most players lack.

I think the reason a lot of apex players don’t prioritize cover is because of the long TTK. But when you’re facing people who can actually play or even just more than one player at once ttk goes down significantly.
Man i totaly hear you on the importance of comms, but after 10,000 games plus i just cant stand toxic teammates most games. Tbh i instantly mute when i solo queue, ppl are too mean lol
Agreed, the duos i get paired up with are usually toxic from the start and for no reason at all
@@puddinpop7879 In my multiplayer gaming experience, if your teammates are a premade group, then there's always going to be 1 of them(usually the worst player in the group humorously enough, getting carried by their friends) that is extra toxic. I would rather have total randoms than be the solo joining a premade.
Mixtape is a good warmup and an easy way to level up and level up the battle pass

When I try to talk and get the vibes up I usually only get silence back, even in high ranks.

Idk if I’m just a dumb noob but how did he change his gamertag multiple times? Was he using different accounts? I don’t get it. It started off with his name being dudewhere’smyshield then over the course of the video his name changes like 3 times. Is that something you can do on pc? Like can you just change gamer tags? Idk if that’s a dumb question I’m a console player so maybe it’s a thing you can do on pc I didn’t know about. If anyone has the answer lmk I’m actually curious

In all seriousness though I think single firing the flatline and r-301 is underrated. If you have a good position and you’re too far to realistically secure the kill it’s great for just applying pressure and wasting your opponents heals.
Something i notice a lot is it seem like people have hit scan. Like for example when shooting that long bow. It hits right when the trigger is pulled. I always have to lead my shot because with the crosshairs right on them it’s always behind when they’re moving.
Probably has something to do the conversion from gameplay to video. For example youtube has a max refresh rate of 60Hz, so the maximum amount of frames per second on the video would be 60, regardless of the actual fps of the gameplay. This probably causes the illusion of hitscan.
It's kind of funny that solo rank to masters has become almost a meme of a challenge, cause actually it's really not that big a challenge for these top players. By the nature of ranked, for 3/4 of matches you'll basically be gauranteeing your opponents are lower skill than you, up until you're hitting hiring ranks. So you get a whole bunch of gauranteed content where you own the lobby then some fun challegning games at the end. Compare that to just playing pubs where you'll quickly be SBMMd against high-skill players and have to deal with your random teammates not taking things seriously and it's clearly which is the more difficult/frustrating way to play the game.
If I saw someone do this on my team I'd report them

Besides obvious skill....one thing you didn't mention is hiswattson is playing with 3500$+ pc. There's always an advantage when you have the best equipment.

Hitting 9 with the pk point blank twice, causing you to die and lose the game
Comms comms comms!!! I'm ex Military and Comms are necessary! Makes the game so much better. Go spend hours in Battlefield Hardcore where you must shoot correctly and utilize available cover.
It's so hard doing this in asia where you get teamed up with people who speak different languages

I feel like wattson managed to do this because he's the shot caller/leader in his serious team and he's super good as a shot caller. plus keeping good vibes
I also think that good comms aren't 100% needed for good synergy, in just a TDM match, all of us were sticking together and making sure there was never a 1v1 while still doing our own thing, we decimated there and it wasn't even that they were bad, we just never gave 'em a chance
You're the reason why TDM sucks. The 3 stacks that hold hands are completely ruining the game. Be a man and take a 1v1 ffs

mixtape is the newest mode in Apex, it rotates Gun run, Control, and TDM so you can hop in and basically fight nonstop.

No one's gonna talk about that re45 hipfire beam while bouncing off a jump-pad more sus than good
Armor is almost pointless in this game anyway with these CoD ttk's. The only scenario I see armor having value is long-range battles where a sniper headshot occurs. Other than that, it's insta death/kill in this game lately.

Great amazing video, but the video seems a little bit lacking, there are no tough moments shown in the video like him dying over and over again (espcially in Plat/diamond lobbies) i'm sure he died a lot, that would of made the video more genuine and real.
I always have "good vibes" even tho my both Randoms together do less then 400dmgs(me 2Kdmgs+), they got knock so fast and yell "LOW"(Not really). they talk trash to me that I lost 1v3 even tho I knocked two and almost kill the last guy. So "Good vibes" mean nothing if your Randoms have "bad vibes".
