LLJL, Good for you! That is exactly what is to be done. The Bible is the text. Of course Elder Veith goes over it verse by verse with commentary but having a good general overview of it helps you to follow with more understanding.

Thank God Almighty for you Prof! You have and are a fountain of knowledge springing up everlasting life. A sign for us in these last hours of earth's history that our Redeemer lives and He is yet speaking.
The elementary principles of the gospel will always be necessary to be reminded of, to be kept in mind, and to obey, yet it is present truth, a truth especially applicable for today that is to be our emphasized today. The Three Angels Message (including the everlanting gospel) coupled with the health reform message, the truth of the second coming of Christ, the truth of the seventh day Sabbath, the truth of the state of man in death and the Sanctuary message which brings them all in correct focus are what we need to restore the truth which sanctifies and prepare us for heaven. Father, please help us to regain and retain our focus if we have lost it.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also......in Heb 6;19 it talks of going beyond the veil in one sentence (which is the Most Holy Place in the sanctuary, a Levitical service?) and in the next verse 6;20 it says about being a priest after the order of Melchizedek king of Righteousness (who was likely Shem) its like a Merism .. i cant wait to hear about Melchizadek in chapter 7 .. In here brother many sect saying Jesus Christ is the devil, and the ten commandments are expired.. What a lost soul they even said Jesus is a lawbreakers and didn't even follow.. I almost wanted to curse them with their blasphemy but holding my feelings and waiting Jesus Christ to reveal is soooooonnn...
Paul is talking about a specific situation here. The people he is talking to, were failing to progress from the basic elementary understandings of the gospel to develop their understandings beyond the milk of the word to process the meat of the word. Heb 5:12 -Heb 6:2. He found it impossible to bring them past that point to repentance and bearing of fruit. Heb 6:7,8 but he holds out hope in that he is hearing better things of them v9 even things that accompany salvation "though we thus speak." He even admits he is willing to labor with them by giving them more of the milk - if God permits. v3 The context is that of the Apostle having a sense of urgency to see beleivers grow and become well nourished by the meat of the word and start bearing fruit for the kingdom of God. We need to be encouraged by the words of Jesus telling us that what is 'impossible" to us, is possible with God.
26 "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

You can hear all matters of ways this passage is used.............WRONG! Impossibe this and impossible that but never the way that is TRUE! YES, free will is well and active and if we wish to walk away, we can and that's IT for anybody that does it. BUT thanks to Gods amazing grace, mercy, love and forgivness, we can hang tight withHIM and HE will see us through IF we have a LIVING relationship with Him! Thanks Prof!
