Thank you great video. Could you please explain why merchant next won’t allow insertion of social media accounts url unless they are verified ? None of my social media accounts are accepted when I plug them into the business settings? Received a misrepresentation because of this. Thanks so much
Unfortunately, we don't know why Google makes most of the choices they make. We'd be happy to look into it further with you! Please reach out via hello@stubgroup.com so that we can schedule a conversation.
Great question! What method are you using to send that product information to Google Merchant Center (e.g. is GMC integrated with Shopify, or are you using a third-party product feed, etc.)?
@@Stubgroup A mi tambien me pasa lo mismo. El producto lo cree yo desde el merchant center y otros se crearon automáticamente desde mi página web. ¿Comó puedo eliminarlo o ya no se puede?
I liked your video. I have a question about the older version of GMC though, i have not been able to remove access of certain accounts that I had under my email address. there used to be a remove access button under settings --> preferences. that button is not there for 4-5 days now. how do you suggest I remove such accounts under my email address?
Great question! You should still be able to remove users to the "older" version of GMC by clicking on the gear icon near the top right-hand corner of the account and then clicking on "Account access". The "Account access" page lists the users who have access to the page and, if you're an Admin, you can click into a specific user's info and remove that user's access to the GMC.
What do we do about creating a new feed in google merchant next? for example, my store has 20 products but I want to create two shopping campaigns. One that I allocate more budget toward (5 ish products) the other with the remaining 15...
In the situation you described, you don't need to create a new feed in Google Merchant Center Next. Instead, you need to link Google Merchant Center Next to your Google Ads account and create two campaigns within your Google Ads account and select which products you want to advertise in each campaign, and set the daily budget for each campaign accordingly. Hope that helps!
That's because Google has not included the "Growth" tab in Google Merchant Center Next. They've moved the areas we used to access via that tab to other areas within Google Merchant Center Next. Is there a particular report or program you're trying to access? Let us know and we'll try to point you in the right direction!
@@Stubgroup I would like to access the Customer Review Setup which used to come under Growth in older version of GMC so I could get star ratings or customer reviews when they access my shopping ads.
Great video thank you. Could you possibly explain why merchant next won’t accept social media url insertion? Seems the accounts accepted have to verified social media accounts only ? I can’t add mine into merchant next thanks so much
Great question! Feed rules are going to exist in Google Merchant Center Next but as of this moment, they haven't been rolled out yet. Google announced on December 1, 2023 that feed rules will be added to GMC Next in "early" 2024. You can see more info here: searchengineland.com/google-merchant-center-support-rules-supplemental-feeds-435311
That is an important question to ask and really this has to do with your business itself, not Google Merchant Center. You need to create products that you can advertise to customers with a compelling advantage (e.g. better quality, better price, better service, etc.) and then you can use Google and other tools to advertise those products.
