I hope you will get well, i feel really sorry about your asthma (i've heard that sometimes asthma or allergies might leave you during adolescent phase so lets hope for that). Try to listen song the acid - basic instinct . I think you might like it it's chill aswell and lyrics are adequate. Get well and don't give up :)

I'm 20 years old and I've never heard a song that managed to make me cry. I never understood why someone would cry from just a song but after hearing this song, now I know. This song is so beautiful it brought me to tears. This is my first time listening to it and I immediately fell in love. This song is a literal masterpiece.

Son Lux's song 'Pyre' was featured in near the end of the second season of Graceland I liked what I heard so I Shazam it then I heard 'Alternate World' my God that song is so amazing then 'Lantern Lit' I just decided to buy the album and I'll soon be purchasing his other works dude is awesome!!!!!!!

Does anyone else here have a terrible time figuring out what a lot of songs mean?
I've seen and heard lots of people referring to specific songs that, due to their meanings, keep them fighting through depression or grief or a disability or something like that...but I've rarely ever been able to pay attention to lyrics enough to figure out what they mean and then relate to them accordingly. I just end up appreciating the musicality of the lyrics.

nfounder the way I see it, it just shows the contrast between "poor" people and the big city/technology. The kids are in either slums or landfills, forced to work to survive, and look at the launch of a space ship, something they will most likely never achieve or come close to, and that's so far away and different from their own world.

It's supposed to be a metaphor. You can interpret it the way you want, but it implies a drowning (maybe in darkness) or a lonliness

I interpreted it as losing memories of a particular person to the see of memories, as time passes we tend to forget what our dearest love ones or childhood friends or lovers looked like, I believe this song is about a loved one who has passed on.

It’s a Welsh folk song Ar lan y môr (Beside the Sea). The line you’re thinking sounds like My heart is so small is actually “mae carreg wastad” (the stones lie scattered). Son Lux wrote some music for a project I was part of in Wales around 2011, which sampled this same song, so I guess that’s where he got the inspiration here...
