Very great in depth guide man. I was using the same spec but with different macros and key bindings, your style really made it a lot more simpler and at the same time much better! Keep up the great work with those awesome guides! :)
Great guide man :) really helped me out at the beginning it's hard to understand but after seeing the rotation it's pretty easy :) keep up the Good work! Will we see a nightblade guide soon? :) cause its the best dps spec for rouges atm ;)
Daniel Brunner Yea, It's a difficult spec to verbally explain, but I figured I would hit verbal and visual both in the video to make sure I covered it thoroughly. As for Nightblade. I will be doing that one very soon as well. I had planned to have more guides out by now, but I've been fairly busy so I haven't had a whole lot of time to get my video shot. Don't you worry though, it will definitely be coming out!
ChamberDown thank you, I totally agree it's hard but you did a great job, let your time, dint stress yourself. I have a great idea of what you can do next after role guides. I play rift nearly since a year, it's very hard to get in the gearing system in my opinion. I mean it's hard to understand at the begin. It would be cool if you can Make a gearing guide or something like that. Quick ways to get gear beside of dungeons. Your sincerely Tagger :)
Daniel Brunner I've actually been working on both a gearing guide as well as stat optimization guide. I want them both to be detailed and simple to follow, so its taking a lot of time to edit the stills and video, but keep checking back because I hope to have them up soon as well!
Not a problem, I have alerts enabled on my phone for my channel, so I try to respond as quickly as I can to people. I know its annoying to ask a question and have to wait two weeks to get an answer =D
I tried 5 Champion (Titan's Strength = +10% str) instead of 5 Tempest. You also get the +3% damage self buff (Soldier's Bearing). It's less AP and weapon dmg but does the self buff put it over Tempest? Seems really close on my less than pro tests. Did you run into this and already figure out 5 Tempest is better? I ran into something else; the self buff from Tempest doesn't apply to physical attacks? The soul tree tooltip says it does, but the tooltip for the actual buff(when cast on yourself) says non-physical damage. What are your thoughts? Thanks for the guide, helped TONS :)
So in Rift attack power and weapon damage modifiers will give you the best scaling in almost every instance. Keep in mind you get Enhanced Conductivity with Tempest that increases damage by 2%, so Soldier's Bearing is really only a 1% bonus. That said, 5 Tempest should be better than 5 Champion by a pretty large margin.
When cast, check your buff and Enhanced Conductivity says increases non-physical damage by 2% This is my primary concern, does it buff all damage or just non-physical? If its just non-physical it opens the door to other souls with the +%AP/WD that have personal preference utility or self buffs. Thanks for the response :) Still trying to wrap my head around the tempest video lol :S
Yea, it would just be nonphys damage increased. You could certainly test other variants and see how they perform. Back when I did the video I checked out all relevant theory craft and tested with some of my own variants to see, and that one performed best, but thats not to say the same would be true today with different gear and a lot of soul changes. =)
I tested it and it came out roughly the same for a 5min parse on a dummy. So if someone doesn't have the tempest soul, its totally viable to use 5 into champion for the 10% str and 3% dmg increase. I think trion has the tooltip broken b/c the tempest debuff on the mob adds 2% dmg while the buff says nonphysical and on the soultree it says 2% dmg. I think the tooltip is broken. Thank you for the responses and the guide, it really got my paragon rollin'!
So what do you think about the more viable dungeon/raid dps spec as a Warrior? Reaver or Paragon? Also, what happened to the good old Champion spec as the best AoE warrior spec? Do you think it's still worthy or Reaver/Paragon is the only way for the team? Thanks in advanve
Reaver is hands down the better dungeon spec as it has extremely competitive ST DPS as well as fantastic AoE DPS. Paragon can beat Reaver in a perfect world but reaver is much easier, more mobile, and has more utility. Champion is still top AoE DPS but not many people use it anymore probably because Reaver does a good enough job and a lot of folks don't really feel like switching. I know that's why I don't typically switch to Champ! Hehe
+Phantom Knight Sure do. If you search for my channel, then go to the left side and expand the "Playlists" section. Click on "Warrior Class Guides" it will show you all the Warrior guides I have available. Select 61 Liberator for AoE healing. Hope that helps =)
Vasyl Light Yup. It's just not recorded yet. I ended up getting a LOT more requests than I thought I would, so I've been trying to get the guides out when I can, but the list is long my friend! hehe =D
Vasyl Light Good catch. I just went ahead and deleted the line, since you don't really need it with this build. Thanks for the heads up, and I'm glad you liked the guide otherwise =)

Kha Zix Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I really appreciate your support.
Great stuff! Vastly improved my understanding of Paragon. Thanks!
+Conductor06AT No problem =)

Great videos!
Good job, continue working like that ;)
Thanks!
Thank you again for another great build! Increased my DPS by a good bit!
Do you have a Void Tank build? Looking for an updated one... Thanks!
+blabeztapang I don't currently, but it's definitely on my list!
Sweet! Thank you for your help and quick response time!

You mind doing a Riftblade guide updated to 3.4? :) Thanks!
+Frde7 Sure can. I have a whole bunch of guide requests I'm trying to fulfill, but I'll be getting to it here soon. =)

Also, I play Paragon in raid from time to time just for some variety, but most of the time Reaver is going to be your go to spec.
do you have an AoE healer guide i could use?
+Phantom Knight Sure do. If you search for my channel, then go to the left side and expand the "Playlists" section. Click on "Warrior Class Guides" it will show you all the Warrior guides I have available. Select 61 Liberator for AoE healing. Hope that helps =)
Hey man, what about blocks 2 and 3?
not sure what you mean. all 4 blocks are there if you keep watching =)
+Rotary Drone 8:03 for Block 2 and 8:18 for Block 3
Apologies for the late reply, but thank you! You sir are a kind man.
Aw, thanks! =D. Glad to help
Do you have 48 BM guide? or planing to make it? i can pull around 55k dps at raid on mine but wonna see something better...
Vasyl Light Yup. It's just not recorded yet. I ended up getting a LOT more requests than I thought I would, so I've been trying to get the guides out when I can, but the list is long my friend! hehe =D
Vasyl Light Also, depending on your gear and the players in your raid, 55k is very respectable, unless you're on Sicarron or something..
ChamberDown murdentix by now, and yea ill defenitly check out your BM when you'll post it, tyx
any replacement for tempest? since i hadnt got my storm soul pack
+Nacho PS I would say your best bet is probably 5 in Void Knight for the +10% Attack Power/Weapon Damage given how well that it scales.
still work??
Sure does =)
uh spell
supPressmacrofailures wrong =D
but everything else good =D
