Every Wii Cup, 2 people get eliminated. Every Retro, 1 person. I am the host of the room and my goal is to be the last one standing. The subscribers try to knock me out. If they do so, the remaining subscribers win! Every KO tourney will have a different theme.
This tournament was made up of Twitch subscribers and RUclips members! (The "Join" button next to Subscribe)

GG Troy I didn't expect to get Top 3 in the wii wheel, am not good at the wii wheel or pro at it. 42:31 "Frank is done" moments later..... came back to 2nd place. All I did was practice. You did very well Troy Top 3 not bad.
Ive always used the wii wheel so these are hilarious. Watching Troy struggle makes me feel so good 😂😂. I just got CTGP a few days ago and I've got 2 days until I can access wiimfi - I can't wait!!

GG's. I played pretty poorly from Star Cup onwards (literally threw BC3, MC3 and Peach Gardens) but hey it worked. Also on the last race I was planning to give Troy the win, but I saw his triple reds and figured I wasnt gonna be able to pull off getting 2nd with how close Frank was, so I took the win.
What i love about him is that he never clickbaits

9:24 That's exactly me after watching your videos and deciding to play MKW after like 10 years
Troy you should do a knock out tournament with your friends or something where you start with just 4 people. You then eliminate 1 person on the mushroom cup, 1 person on the flower cup, and 1 person on the star cup. Then, the final person that is left chooses the rules and the track for 1 race where the other 3 people that have been eliminated race against each other. The winner of that one race then races the person left over (the person who was never eliminated in the mushroom, flower, or star cup) in the special cup for the championship. It would be like a medium sized knock out tournament with mario karters that we actually know from previous videos of yours.

this is why i play mario kart DS. backbombs are actually avoidable and it is up to the person with the bomb to land their mark (150cc, you go fast enough to escape explosions coming from behind you)

I got absolutely wrecked and mario karted in the final 6 on lap 3 of all 4 races in that cup, xD.
I thought I was out in that tiebreaker even when I was using the bill but I shocked at the last second at 17:38, and it kept me in.
I would really love you to make a video on your opinion for each type of controller with each of their advantages and disadvantages. But nonetheless, you are probably the best mk wii youtuber I have found because you make me very entertained and interested in the game after 8 years. I also subbed

Mario kart wii was really well thought, designed and executed. You could play with the family with the wheels or just the controller, online with the other controller. It was fun split screen and online, with people who could play and with hegginers
Ik you probably couldn’t do this with your setup, but it’s actually much easier to stand while playing with the Wii wheel, it allows for so many more tricks and wheelies, less drifting the wrong way, etc
i used to play with the wheel, i surprisingly could do most of the ultra shortcuts but when i switched the the gcn controller it felt SOOO much better, way smoother drifts with no wrong drifts, and its so much easy for tricking as with the wheel and the remote when you shake it it can sometimes herl you in another direction
I've noticed that the Wii Remote motion controls favor small sharp flicks rather than big sweeping movements.

When I had Mario Kart Wii, I always used the wii wheel because it was the best I had. When tricking or doing wheelies, I'd recommend making a downwards motion. As for how to hold items behind you effectively, I didn't know how to do that

I shifted from wii wheel to nun chuck and then went back to wii wheel to see if it was actually better. I never realized how limiting the wheel was until I went back.
