If you add in another rule which is if your trade crosses back through the 200 EMA (when it goes against you) then you get out and typically are able to break even or 1/2 the loss. From my testing it cut out about 20-25% of losing trades which makes a significant difference. Also, I increased my profits by about 10% if I let the trade hit the PT and then get out once it crosses and closes a 21 EMA. Still tinkering with the indicator as I like the fact it combines multiple indicators into one.

This is a good channel and there are plenty of trading system ideas however before you start throwing cash at any system you need to test it thoroughly including statistically backed robustness testing. The data range needs to be at least 6 or 7 years, preferably longer. Using a few months just doesn’t cut it as it’s not statistically relevant. You can’t carry out that kind of testing manually you need strategy building software to do it. There are several products on the market and I’m not here to shill any particular one but if you are serious about systematic/algo trading then you need to invest in one of those.

There is room to improve this. adding in some trailing stops for example will cause us to take less profits then our TP but take them more often and give us more trading opps as well. some minor tweaks to the strat will increase risk only slightly while increasing profit potential quite a bit. This actually look like a useful tool. and normally i don't use this kind of indicator. Most of the time when i have indicators up they only confirm the trade i already took or they keep me from closing it.

I’d like to say that I’ve just spent a day testing this strategy from 25 March up to today. It didn’t work at all. With the same exact criteria from the video I was getting so much loss (like streaks of 6 or more in a roll) and a maximum of 2 wins straight. So I’ve abandoned it before may. I’ve tweaked it a bit putting 1:1rrr moving it to break even and letting the half roll. It gave me 54% win rate. It’s barely profitable, and I risk to say that actually isn’t with spread comissions etc. I’ve noticed that you tested it in 2020 data. Hopefully you can test it again for a more recent data and let me know what I’ve made wrong or if the strategy just stoped working. Tomorrow I’ll try the best ranked of your spreadsheet. I watch a lot of RUclips videos and see a lot of traders earning massively and then I start to wonder what I could possibly be doing wrong because I’ve been trading for a couple of months and every trading attempt seems to be red, never have I seen a green day. It is really frustrating seeing loses without any profit. So, I decided to work a bit more on myself and then opened a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

If for some reason this Cipher B gets remove from trading view, you can still replicate the exact trade settings via the following settings using macd and MFI. Macd settings is: Fast: 9, Slow: 12, Source: hlc3, Signal: 3 MFI Settings Period: 60 Style: Overbought: 50 Oversold: 50 Its exactly the same setup, MFI is consider green if its above 50 and consider red if its below 50.

2 hours backtesting this sh*t on the EUR/USD and I can assure you that this strategy loses money, in fact very fast (at least trading it like he says with fixed 2:1 ratios). Even with trailing stops and no targets it will bleed quite rapidly your account.

Good strategy, thanks. I'll try it and I can already see that it'll perform very good with a kumo cloud displacement changed to 1 and potentially looks like you can have more entries with it. Also using support and resistance will help to adjust RR ratio in some cases.
I literally wrote that ontop of taking notes on this lol - Thanks for bringing up using S/R Lines, that would definitely help with adjusting to logical areas based on price action!
@@arunyankee6525 you need to disable everything except plots background so you’ll only have the cloud displayed and change displacement setting from 26 to 1. You only go long if cloud is green and short if red. EMA ribbon also works similar.

I am not here to defend market cipher but u could have done the strategy with market cipher b and have the same results yet u speak highly of vumachu indicator which is the same and condemn market cipher B. U contradict urself. Of course price for market cipher B is very expensive but they were the ones creating it. they can choose whatever Price they want to sell it. I got the same results as you when I backtested from Jan 3 to July 3rd. Some 29% WR is not good for a 1:2RR. :/
did every buy signal this year (30m) on eth and it comes out profitable, not as high as shown here but still

Good strategy, thanks. I'll try it and I can already see that it'll perform very good with a kumo cloud displacement changed to 1 and potentially looks like you can have more entries with it. Also using support and resistance will help to adjust RR ratio in some cases.
I literally wrote that ontop of taking notes on this lol - Thanks for bringing up using S/R Lines, that would definitely help with adjusting to logical areas based on price action!
@@mosesalexandercruz2071 no probs! I think S/R is the key of any strategy as many will look on the same area for placing the trade and taking profits.
How could we set the cloud displacement to 1? Senkou span A and B is set to 52 and 26. Do you mean change it to 1?
@@arunyankee6525 you need to disable everything except plots background so you’ll only have the cloud displayed and change displacement setting from 26 to 1. You only go long if cloud is green and short if red. EMA ribbon also works similar.

Use ADX value to filter choppy price action on 1 min. Under 25 declining is first warning then under 20 stop trading and wait until the ADX will have a positive slope and will go over 20.

The problem is that the red or green dot does not confirm until candle close ... this delays the entry and makes it much less probable to hit 2:1

Dude be fair. I am not here to defend market cipher but u could have done the strategy with market cipher b and have the same results yet u speak highly of vumachu indicator which is the same and condemn market cipher B. U contradict urself. Of course price for market cipher B is very expensive but they were the ones creating it. they can choose whatever Price they want to sell it. At the end it is a convenient usable and with the right strategy profitable indicator
