Essentially you have tapped into why women wear handbags! It's the equivalent of pockets for men!!!! I ❤️ my bumbag. I can't say "fa**y pack. I am British.😂😂Currently in mine are: tissues, wet wipes, lip salve, a ziplog bag, phone, three sweets, a large safety pin, a bandana, hand sanitizing liquid, a small pursea mask, phone containing 2 credit cards, glasses because I am constantly wearing my sunglasses. I live in Spain.😎
I started using Bumbags - or "Hipbags" as we called them in Germany - way back in the 90ies while skateboarding. You had all necessary items available BUT detachable in just a second BUT could easily grab it when you needed it. Since then i haven't really stopped using them cause they are really convenient, always come in handy AND they don't limit my range of motion as full loaded pockets of my trouser would. While out in the woods or hiking or canoeing or shooting my english longbow i always have my phone, ifak, swiss army knife (they're the best) and other stuff in it - even my patagonia houdini is clipped to it with a carabiner . BIGGEST plus while hiking for me is: you can have all the vital pieces like ifak, knife, and fire with you at all times. It's the portable version of a bug out bag from the army days and it's independent from my rucksack. At night i place it in my sleeping bag and have extra security for my vital items. So a bumbag is a clear must have item at all times!
I carry a large fanny pack. I put a 32 oz Nalgene bottle in the main compartment then a small knife, first aid, fold up bucket hat, almond butter, gum and a poncho in the smaller pockets. Oh, plenty of room for keys, wallet and i have an additional piece that slips on the belt to hold my phone. I love it, keeps my back a lot cooler than a backpack / sling and still carry just as much stuff.
I use my fanny pack when bike riding. Bike clothes do not have pockets. I'm in my late 30's now and do not really care what people think of my stylish fanny pack.
I'm not much of a hiker, but my fanny has helped me keep daily-life essentials together: phone, wallet, keys, headphones, charger, notebook, pens, and extra mask. As a teacher it's very helpful too. I'd be lost without it.
My husband would is turning 60 this year has just been discussing the virtues of "the fannypack". He doesnt care if some think them passé. I sent him this vdeo. They are great for having items first hand while backpacking. Cheers
Living and hiking in Scotland, I always use a Lowe alpine ‘fanny pack’ when hiking up the Munros. I use it to keep my map, compass and garmin Oregon as well as first aid kit and midge repellant. Like others, I don’t care what others think, if it works for you then do it, if it doesn’t, don’t. I have been hiking for years and wouldn’t be without it.
I love Fanny packs. I use a dog treat bag with a metal push/pull on it. I LOL at the butterfly moment. I love how you guys show the flowers and wildlife. It’s why…you show the why. Thx!
Hell yes I use a fanny and would not be w/o one. Carry tiny Swiss army knife, Hearing aid batteries, tiny i3T EOS handheld flashlight, hand sanitizer, phone, keys. And mine is a tiny Gossamer Gear fanny, Thank for this great video. ONCE AGAIN. EXCELLENT
Yeaaaaaasss! It works well for me. I love the ability to keep moving and get a drink mix, a map or a snack without taking off my pack. I feel like I'm missing something without it. Hip belt pockets are so hard to open on some packs so my hip belt pockets carry the first aid kit and other low use items.
I use a fanny pack while I’m hiking the PCT right now. It’s great, so many hikers have them. I officially have the largest fanny pack on the trail lol. Everyone has fancy ones from these cottage companies, mine is my Dad’s 1980’s VHS recorder holder.
When we backpack, my wife carries a big 9L lumbar pack because she has spinal stenosis and autoimmune issues that cause muscle problems in her neck and shoulders and numbness in her legs and feet, so she physically can’t carry a traditional backpack. She carries as much as she can in the lumbar pack and we pack as light as possible so I can carry a bigger pack for two. It’s more work for me but just being out there is work for her, so it’s worth it for us to keep going on trips.
I’ve always adored fanny packs! They make so much sense!! It’s all about the marketing. Thanks for shedding a positive light on this super convenient bag!! ☺️🤗
My fanny/front pack is a rigged up , really old z-packs hip belt pocket. It does work, but... I have some dyneema grid stop that I am planning on making a custom, just-for-me fanny pack. I like to carry snacks, phone accessories for camera use, chapstick, and any maps/guidebook pages that I need, compass, pencil and whistle. I like having those things in the fanny pack, since it is always on me while I am hiking.
I always used my pack lid as the "junk drawer". Seriously considering a fanny pack. Between my too-small hip belt setup, awkwardness of reaching back/asking for help for lid stuff, and hiking in running shorts (so having no pockets around camp), I don't see any downsides. Even for a weekend warrior like me it seems like a no-brainer.
Resupply in towns, carrying essentials while doing laundry, snacks on trail, camera and phone accessories, hygiene needs on trail, traveling in general. They are just so versatile. I’ll add it’s easy to find some that adjust to sling over your shoulder and wear it on chest too.
Hello my hiking friend, thank you for sharing this informative video. I'm going to locate my fanny pack and use it on my next outing to the Sierras. All the best to you. Stay safe and healthy. 🤗
I’m late to the game. But osprey makes a fancy hip pack. They’ve shrunk down their full size bag features into a hip pack. It’s definitely for a one day quick hike using minimal gear.
I've been a fan of "Bum Bags" for decades. (Fanny means something a bit different to Brits and Aussies; down under down under, if you will.) In the 90s my weekend kit was my Jansport 25l book bag and a "fanny pack". I wasn't ultralight. I was broke and that's all I had. Most of the "10 Essentials" went in the bum bag.
I am guessing that the cookie 🍪and pretzel shop we have in the malls in the U.S., called "Fannie Farmer" isn't real common in the rest of the world that speaks English. And thank you for clarifying the expression!🏁

I have a dime bag fanny pack and I absolutely love it. I have my cigs, phone, lip balms, credit cards and things, flash light, tactical knife, my chillum, make up, hair ties, and usually a back up deodorant and smell good. I love that it holds so much perfectly and it’s hands free. I don’t have to worry about setting it down and leaving it or finding a place to hang it. Besides all that it looks cool 😎. I bought my grandma one in 1991 and she never again used a purse. ❤️
Fanny packs are great. When backpacking I use a small one. In winter outings I have sometimes used a big one that can take my gloves, balaclava etc. so I can get them or stow them as needed (even on a day hike/ski).
Awesome videos. I have always wondered why not balancing the load of a pack by putting something up front has never taken off. after my last trip to the smokies, Fanny pack and umbrella are a must for the next trip.
Perhaps read Ray Jardine's book, Beyond Backpacking, p.57. "They increase the KLUTZ factor, hampering one's mobility and restricting the viability at one's feet. The more paraphernalia hanging all over your body, the more cumbersome, and the more you will trudge along instead of enjoying a pleasant ramble."
I just got my fanny pack from Lite AF. It is so beautifully made, but I didn’t really think about how it might interfere with the hip belt on my pack. I noticed you also use a hip belt and seem to have no complaints, so I’m happy to hear you love yours so much. Excited to get this thing out on trail!
9/20/2020 good Idea. I wish I had thought of it. I gifted a couple of His and Hers IFAKs kits to family. They were specific for big trauma. Personal FAKs usually have some molly or other strap system to your pack. A fanny pack loaded nicely will be the next gifts. Glasses, goggles, masks, headlamps, gloves, wipes and sanitizer, scissors tourniquet and pressure bandage will handle the first 2 minutes of a rescue. Your suggestions were really good. With you on the trail a second fanny pack could replace your backpack or maybe only an extra one for her! Thanks , Don
I have used the same Osprey Strider fanny pack since 1991 for all the reasons you listed. I would add to the list permits, licenses, or tags which may need to be produced to a ranger, warden, or other law enforcement. I've also used it in conjunction with a small beltless backpack to make a hybrid two-piece backpack, works great.
Love them. I can put it round my waist, my shoulder, round the bdckpack. Wear them when I'm out riding bicycle. It's also very good for one long day hike. I can snug a plastic water bottle round the belt too. It can even be customized to your liking, like adding some loops on the strap for carrying more gears or attaching a carabiner or two, so you can keep stuff outside the pack. And, yeah I think they look very cool.
I got the ‘M48 Response Pack’ fanny bag. I like the tactical apocalyptic look it has. Also sunglasses are good to keep in there along with something that will settle the score in case a cryptid type creature starts stalking you. Many people go missing every year under very unusual circumstances in our National Parks, we need to always be aware.
I use a small one as an EDC and part of a get home bag. It is mainly first aid, fire lighting, and emergency shelter. I have a larger one that I use as a DSLR camera bag if I am using that camera. This larger one incorporates a shoulder strap, so you can wear at the back and swing to the front for access.
I love my fanny pack. I needed a bigger one so had to make it a few years ago. There are more options now. I used the pack lid of a busted pack. It's 5L. I can't recommend it enough for all the reasons you said. I have 1 to add that I have a little pocket for my money and ID and that is great to always have them on my person and not have to think about.
I'm more of a "square 5.11 Chestrig/molle" kind of guy, great as a counterbalance.. I do own a couple of fannys, I use them mostly for winter, even some larger ones that fits your lumbar..
NYC Gypsy ... ______________ A fanny pack has helped to lighten my life; I carry only what I really need and it helps me stay organized... city dweller. Life is good! Kind regards. (Eddie Bauer, The North Face... so far). Thank you for this post :)
I do, and have ever since I started back into backpacking again about ten years ago. Mosly so I can reach things that I don't want to reach into my backpack for, so I don't have to take it off. Snacks and drinks are top of that list, but so are a few other things.
Hi there , i think that its great , i did the Annapurna circuit in Nepal , using one and it proved very useful , my money and passport was always in security and obviously all the quick needed items
It also transitions into off-trail "real life" really, really well. Tuck your hand sanitizer and mask in there along with car keys, phone, money, etc and you're good to go. It can offer a psychological boost knowing you're only a pack away from being on trail. "Hey, I'm not just running errands, I'm living a town day, here! " Thanks for the video. Great stuff!!
I use one, just as you stated for the common denominator. I like having things easily acessible, small camera, phone, stick pic, snacks. I do not want to stop to do these simple things. I do stop at age 62 frequently enough. I dont need to have to stop for simple things as well. I would never get anywhere....lol...
Nice tip with the toothbrush, I’m gonna steal that one. Yeah I’m on my second fanny pack and I love them - hmg versa. Primary reason is for snacks, drink mixers, and my phone. I find I bump into my phone while it’s in my shorts pocket with my trekking pole periodically. I also keep a compass, whistle, and tiny flashlight just for safety. Before I used one, I remember having a rough day on trail and it was getting pretty dark. I’d just gotten to the bottom of a canyon where I’d expected there to be water and there wasn’t. I set my pack down and went back up to the small pool of water at the top to filter some water. By the time I got back to the bottom it was dark and I had that moment of terror where I couldn’t find my pack for about 15 minutes. I did have my phone so I could’ve used that light, but I’d just prefer to have a dedicated small light along with the other items I mentioned earlier for those you-never-know situations.
I’ve used one for years. I use it primarily for food storage. I also use it to hold my EDC gear. Phone, knife, flashlight, etc. it’s perfect for day hikes. Mine has two pockets for water bottles, so I don’t have to lug a backpack around all day (I’m getting old so my back isn’t what it used to be.) I also smoke a pipe, so I keep a couple of pipes and a tobacco pouch in there as well. My fanny pack is one of the best pieces of gear I’ve ever used.
I also keep my keys in my fanny pack. My pack has a clip to keep key ring from falling out. I also like a tiny keyring led which is easy find in the dark when attached to the fanny pack. When slack packing, the pack will rest on top of fanny pack. I also keep hand sanitizer in fanny pack.
I had a Lowe fanny pack back in the 80s that I used ALL the time. I ended up giving it to my granddaughter when they came back in style, briefly. It's probably in a box somewhere, or who knows where? Now, I'm needing another one mainly for water, but also the EDC.
Dove in and bought a Hilltop Packs custom print roll top fanny pack, great video I really enjoyed it. Except for 7:47 in the video, where did your pants go???? lol
I've got one that can be worn around the waist, on the belt, over the shoulder, has carrying handles like a small duffle bag, and can be strapped to my bike handle bars with the same belt attachments. It is so freaking awesome because it is so versatile. I pack it depending on the situation I need it for rather than it having one dedicated purpose.
I gotta be honest, it's no name Chinese from Wish.com. BUT, I have bought several packs from there, and every single one is VERY well made, comfortable, rugged, double or triple stitched, and completely water proof at an unbeatable price point. I showed up to one of David Canterburys advanced Bushcraft courses with one, and he himself and several instructors agreed upon the quality of it, and said, quote, No one should knock buying products of this nature from the Chinese, they know their textiles, and how to sew, it's their culture... I know some people may look down on me for buying Chinese for political reasons or whatever, but I don't have tons of money, but NEVER compromise quality for price, and have not been let down in these instances.
@@bryantdavis3710 Too be honest i do have chinese stuff, from before the pandemic. ;)) Little pouches like tasmanian tiger or maxpedition, not that quality but for 1/10th of their price i do not complain. Heck, recently bought a new sleepingbag from a well known German company wich is also made in China. You just can't escape it. Thought about bringing it back but who would i be kidding? Myself. China is in both ends of the spectrum. Western brands have their own or share factories filled with western machinery and skilled labourers. And i am on a tight budget to. Bought excellent stuff on Ali but also enormous crap. Ghehe
I use one as well... Love it. As a bigger got it's not always easy to get to those small side pockets... It's great to have a good day pack for anything you might need. It's a no brainier.
I really needed a fanny when I switched to a Gossamer Gear Kumo that has really small hipbelt pockets. Whatever I put in my hipbelt pockets normally went into my fanny pack, so it became a must have in that situation! Plus, they're stylish and practical off trail, so win win!
I was around for the late 80s and early 90s for the fanny pack craze in the general public. I'll admit to having used them. Because of that, I'm not a fan of the fanny pack. Depending on the fanny pack design and how much weight you're carrying there, you're whacking the jewels as you walk. With some past lower back injuries, the fanny pack puts pressure on my lower back at times I don't like that. What I DO use is a chest pack. It has stuff that I don't want to be without; ID, cash, snacks, medical stuff, etc. As you said, better than digging through a pack for what you need immediately. I've seen people get forgetful and leave important stuff behind. If its in the chest pack, it's accounted for.
Maybe consider straps that connect the fanny pack to the packs shoulder straps. Yes you are right to make sure that the fanny pack is not carried too low.
@@donwyates Back in the 80s the fanny packs came in multiple sizes. The larger ones, even when worn at the beltline, would reach down to the jewels if fully loaded down. The small tiny ones that held maybe a wallet and some keys, not so much
Marsupial envy! Thanks for another great video Joe. Speaking of packs, I would love to hear a performance review of your last myog pack and then compare/contrast to all the other packs you have used.
I travel w/ a 50L pack, and I use a fanny as a dopp kit- for the weight of a 1" strap I now have multi-use org. Same with a packable UL pack for clothes instead of a packing cube. I can ditch the clothes/dopp and bring my backpack for daily use and lighter weight, or toss their contents into my big pack and only bring the packable backpack and/or fannypack for groceries etc. As the situation calls for.
I'm a big fan of the fanny pack while hiking! I have a cheap Ozark Trail one that has 2 water bottles. I carry extra camera lenses and batteries in it. It's also where I put my lens caps and filters.
I use a chest pack from Zpacks which serves the same purpose. I have several fanny packs from 1 litre to 12 litres(Now discontinued, made by Under Armour it has a dedicated space for a laptop) that I use for photography but not for hiking because of the belts interfering with the backpack’s. But I’m sold on them just like you. 👍
Hey Crow Check out Chicken Tramper Ultralight Gear. Funny name, great gear, super guys and service. Just bought their 45 liter pack and fanny pack clips in.
I dont carry a fanny pack, but I do carry a small shoulder satchel. It has slightly more storage than a fanny pack, is comfortable to wear with my backpack and the extra space is for my binoculars. Also carry map/compass, camera, small note book, and snacks!
Looking at your videos it appears as if your hip belt sits a lot higher than mine. I feel like a fanny pack would sit pretty low if it is below my hip belt. But I have some love handles and narrow hips so I probably let my pack ride lower than it should.
Always use a fanny pack on trail. Store all of my easy access items snacks, phone, charger, chapstick, bug spray etc. I wear my Cotopaxi FP even when not on trail walking around town or doing yard work. Keeps your hands free👍
that's a great idea , for wearing , while doing yard work...I will have to get a larger bag, for my handshovel, and zipties and cutters.. I will look into it ..great idea
To add to these comments they are great for using as pouches around the city. I do commute to work back and forth but I use totally different set ups. If i am just hanging out for the day and running around a backpack along with a fanny pack really does make sense. And I do use sling bags as well. The fanny pack is like carrying a pouch actually that all it is. I love carrying backpacks and brief cases I have a ton of brief cases sling bags, and backpacks. The fanny pack is great because of the reasons you listed but also it gives you a big pouch. The backpack does have pouches but it is nice to have the extra pouch up front. Also pockets on guys like me yes. We have deep pockets but it is really stupid to put things their that is why I totally agree with using a pouch…. Get those things out of your pockets and put them into a pouch. When you go to sit down your pants look bulging and the pockets are pooching out where as if you had a pouch it wouldn’t bee like that. Yes. Many people thought that fanny packs were only thing but that is not true. They are great pouches. I ordered 4 of them off of amazon and will bee using them with my backpacks. They are a great compliment with the backpack. I am getting ready to fill one up now actually I am working on that as we speak. I can’t wait to get my other 3 pouches. Some girls thought they were bad with pouches well, i love pouches too.. Love wearing those things. But truly wether hiking, just hanging around the city and doing errands having a bounce around backpack and a fanny pack is a super idea. I have backpacks for every situation. Whether I am commuting to and from work, hiking or backpacking or just hanging out for the day I have a pack for every situation. Brief cases are the same. I have a hybrid one and some carrying ones and rolling brief cases. I use the brief cases for work of course and I do have a huge backpack that is for work as well. It is a commuter backpack. I think that people should learn to love the pouch and carry one.

If they would have named it like a kangaroo pouch or a waist wallet or anyting else I feel a lot more people to use them. the whole fanny pack named just kills it . But like you did in your umbrella video you make some really good points on why to use one.
Thank you for acknowledging that "waterproof" is usually not the right word. Weatherproof would be far more accurate, and I wish more brands would recognize the difference. I don't mind "waterproof fabric", but waterproof gets used for many things that just aren't.
Yes, because a beltpack is my everyday carry! LOL! I need hands free and close access to items. On hikes that is water bottle, snacks, kt tape, headlamp, tiny swiss pocket knife, bug net, chapstick, toothbrush, gloves, buff and that cell phone too
I dispensed with my bum bag a few years ago. We avoid the use of the word fanny in Australia as it's another word for ladies front bum. Anyway I replaced it with an AARN universal balance bag which give an extra 12 litres of storage and help even out the load as it's placed on your chest.
I love having my junk up front and easy to get to !!!!! arthritis just takes all the fun out of reaching around behind and sticking bottles or snacks or whatever in and out of a pack . My pouch takes care of that 😀
I use a Granite Gear Crown 2 38 so a fanny pack would be awkward due to the hip belt and hip pockets but I do something similar. I take the lid of the pack and wear it like a chest rig using two sbiners. Navigation (map, compass and phone), 2 mechanical pencils, write in the rain notebook that is my trail journal go in there
Why do you use a fanny pack? Let us know.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!

Cool! Let us know how it works out for you.
You convinced me at number 6. But the bathroom-argument was also very strong 😅 Thanks for the video! I will def buy one.
A proud fanny pack backpacker!! Love the junk drawer comment, spot on!!😅 Happy trails
Yes, we used one in Spain last year on the Camino! Game changer for sure.
Me too.
Me three. Great for the credential in a ziplock. No more digging around ...
Your right...😂🤣👍 a Fanny is "a vagina" here in Canada ...lol
I am guessing that the cookie 🍪and pretzel shop we have in the malls in the U.S., called "Fannie Farmer" isn't real common in the rest of the world that speaks English.
And thank you for clarifying the expression!🏁

☑️ In USA = Buttocks
☑️ In Canada, Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, = female genitals
☑️ In Hebrew = underneath
☑️ In the Military = Tactical waist pouch
☑️ to millennials = MURSE (Man+Purse)
So if one in the US wears a fanny pack in front it’s a UK/Commonwealth true fanny pack? (And how do people not know this? Fanny Hill anyone?)
@@truepeacenik LOL 😂🤣
I've been thinking of picking up one lately. Thanks for the suggestion!
Check out your 2nd hand bargain stores, ...lots of fanny packs there, I am sure and on the cheap .
I just bought one to wear on my vacation to CA. Easier than a purse. Works well with a duffel on your back for access to necessities.
Love my bum bag. Ease of snacking.. phone etc. love it.
Thank you! Finding your videos very helpful so far!
I’m looking @ the Fjallraven Kanken hip pack myself. For hiking & backpacking, I agree. They make perfect since.
. I never carried one , Yet I was struggling with all the problems you mentioned. Thank you for another great and thoughtful video.
Fits a trout setup perfectly!
Ahh, great point! Perfect for tenkara fishing too.
Its perfect with me on MTB and in the casual camp!
I do own a couple of fannys, I use them mostly for winter, even some larger ones that fits your lumbar..
yeah me too, i'm gone from waist pack to chest pack. and you can make it slightly bigger, and secure it.
They’re great for cycling too!
Great ideas. Just got mine and getting started.
Hahaha I love that way of thinking. "I'm just taking some zeroes before I get back on trail."
I use one, just as you stated for the common denominator. I like having things easily acessible, small camera, phone, stick pic, snacks. I do not want to stop to do these simple things. I do stop at age 62 frequently enough. I dont need to have to stop for simple things as well. I would never get anywhere....lol...
😂 That does make sense. I don't like stopping either. I'm a huge fan of the stick pic.
That sounds scary. I always feel weird on trail when I'm separated from my backpack.
Hands down favorite, most comfortable way to carry my Glock 19 or 30 and a spare mag. Plus room for some cash, keys, bic lighter, etc...
It fills the carrying just enough niche and I have several in different sizes , my favorite is an older mountainsmith with a shoulder strap harness !
I’ve used one for years. I use it primarily for food storage. I also use it to hold my EDC gear. Phone, knife, flashlight, etc.
it’s perfect for day hikes. Mine has two pockets for water bottles, so I don’t have to lug a backpack around all day (I’m getting old so my back isn’t what it used to be.)
I also smoke a pipe, so I keep a couple of pipes and a tobacco pouch in there as well.
Except for 7:47 in the video, where did your pants go???? lol
Great video! Still have and use my LiquiPak from the 90’s! Their functionality never goes away. 👍
‘Snackcess’ instant like!
Great video :) What are those cool hiking pole pockets?
I've got one that can be worn around the waist, on the belt, over the shoulder, has carrying handles like a small duffle bag, and can be strapped to my bike handle bars with the same belt attachments. It is so freaking awesome because it is so versatile. I pack it depending on the situation I need it for rather than it having one dedicated purpose.
What brand of fanny pack is it? Sounds awesome.
What brand is it?
I hike and bike and like the both uses.
@@bryantdavis3710 Too be honest i do have chinese stuff, from before the pandemic. ;))
Little pouches like tasmanian tiger or maxpedition, not that quality but for 1/10th of their price i do not complain.
I'm so glad fanny packs are back, So functional!
I really needed a fanny when I switched to a Gossamer Gear Kumo that has really small hipbelt pockets. Whatever I put in my hipbelt pockets normally went into my fanny pack, so it became a must have in that situation! Plus, they're stylish and practical off trail, so win win!
Thanks for your great tips!
I like to loop clothing through the belt for when I want quick access, especially items without sleeves
Oooh, that's a good idea!
If it's "whacking the jewels", I'd say you're wearing it too low.
I can do that. A few people have requested something similar so I'll add it to my list of videos to make. Thanks!
I use them for sure! Great for easy access and day-hikes when backpacking. Good stuff
Well done. Fanny pack is my next purchase. Great video. Crow✌️
Hey Crow Check out Chicken Tramper Ultralight Gear. Funny name, great gear, super guys and service. Just bought their 45 liter pack and fanny pack clips in.
Fanny packs for life!!!
Would love a separate review for this bum bag (fanny pack in brit)!
30 years ago i became hooked on a large fanny pack for summer day hiking. cooler and even fits water, a notebook and camera...
I have using one for a couple years now just local hiking. I use it as a Chest pack when biking. I don’t know why, it just feels right.
On which trail was the first nature scene recorded? Looks fantastic.
Toothbrush and toothpaste is something I never thought of doing. Everything else I've done. Great video.

Indeed it does!
Yes, because a beltpack is my everyday carry! LOL! I need hands free and close access to items. On hikes that is water bottle, snacks, kt tape, headlamp, tiny swiss pocket knife, bug net, chapstick, toothbrush, gloves, buff and that cell phone too
I used mine for everyday carry but I might change my situation for that set up
Awesome video!
I dispensed with my bum bag a few years ago. We avoid the use of the word fanny in Australia as it's another word for ladies front bum. Anyway I replaced it with an AARN universal balance bag which give an extra 12 litres of storage and help even out the load as it's placed on your chest.
Hi your show has good information thank jou
Thanks!
Navigation (map, compass and phone), 2 mechanical pencils, write in the rain notebook that is my trail journal go in there
A great alternative is backpacks that have pouches on the waist belt, great storage with easy a seed.
