Actually, a really stunning bird. I got a lot of these turning up at one of my water pools during the dry season. Interesting to hear about their diet. I have one very attractive tree on my land that produces orange blossoms which attract lots of these drongos. I've often wondered if they were after insects or nectar but is seems it could be both from the information you gave.
