Well, we sure hope he will end up like Purdy. Reality is that we don’t really know yet. He is growing every week and the challenges are going to get tougher so it will be fun to see how he does. As a Giants fan, win or lose I am rooting for him to make it to at least our backup. I’m really happy for your team as well. The fan base almost immediately began to love Purdy and after 2-3 games he was the guy. The locker room immediately bought in, and the only games San Fran lost since Jimmy G’s ankle injury were in mainly due to injuries. DeVito seems to have received the same love and respect from the Giants’ players and fans in Jersey. Purdy is a west coast chill dude who grew up in Arizona and went to a Midwest school. Perfect fit with the California coast! Tommy DeVito is an overlooked Italian from Jersey who just cares about grit and family. Perfect for NY/NJ!
