- Esseker's development as a DayZ map sadly got abandoned by the developer, but we want to give it new life. We Added over 9000 custom objects and made tons of gameplay fixes to make the map an absolute blast! This is the result of all that work.

I’ve played a ton on Esseker, what it needs is a large city and some military up north. Esseker city, as big as it is, needs more buildings, would be nice if Esseker city was the size of Banov city. Might just be me, but I’ve always preferred city combat over fighting in the woods.

Yeah I played a lot on project as well. It was fun but they started leaning towards the Jugg/tapper meta that dayz is sadly heading towards now days. Killed the server.

In console there is some servers where the admins edit the map and there's so cool stuff I seen like a brand new military base a completely new city and a new island

Esseker exists in real life. Real city is called Osijek, and its located in Croatia. I live in the town south-west of Osijek, Slavonski Brod. So yeah, I've been to esseker so many times in real life...
Hahaha ja iz Osijeka, točnije u selo pokraj, Čepin. Kad sam vidio da je mapa izašla, samo igram na njemu hahaah

i can never find loot on karmakrew servers, i kill 5 people and they havent found shit either. find like 2 bullets here and then 3 bullets there, never found a single box of ammo, its fucking exhausting.
I'd of gone up the ladder on top of red brick garage building 16:00 to get ''the higher ground''. But saying that I am NOT a PVP god and probably would get killed up there too or halfway up the ladder. And Sand ... I hate Sand its so coarse, and it gets everywhere.

Also about 15-20% of it is still missing.. I was on it a bit couple or so weeks ago and stopped playing it because parts of the map doesn't even exist now like it did in arma 3
Rostow is a decent map though and is finished, but no ones running servers for it or playing it.. Makes no sense.. I'd probably reinstall dayz again to play rostow
