On the other side of the island. There is a pier, some houses a hotel & a small shop were we purchased strawberries.
Signs round shoreline saying. In case of explosions, earthquake or retreating sea make you way inland.
Bit of a bonus. The tourists boat took us round the island as it started to go dark to enable use to see the glow from the crater. The cherry on the cake. As the boat pulled away from the island the full moon rose out of the sea.

I Love it when people with a total different profession just do what everyone else wants to do but say its forbitten because its "too dangerous". If your a Policeman you can basically do whatever you want. Just go as close as you can for no reasons at all and look serious with you uniform. Like: "Ah yeah, let me check on this stuff I don´t understand while making a selfie video of me standing infront of lava floating into the sea! Thats a really bad Idea but I have uniform. And hey: There definitly will be less people doing the same thing if I post it, ha!? Look at me, Iam a Policeman and I can do whatever I want!" Its just so funny.
